Dear Alexandra, I am so in love with your program. First of all I am 76 years old and a grandma and great grandma and so you must know that your program appeals to my age group or at least to an artist grandma. As I am watching each time it feels like I am being invited to your studio or family or special friends group and that is down to your amazing, joyful personality! Also agreeing with the lady comment just before mine - every week Graham looks better and better! His gentle and slightly humorous personality plus how hard he works, like he can make anything, tells me someday if he chooses to have a partner, she will be very happy! Now, that is said, your tips for this bathroom are so inspiring! Every time I watch you I am inspired and have done some major downsizing in preparation for some possible Spring decorating! All Hail Alexander! You are so amazing! Love from Laara WilliamSen, B.C.
I'm 73, live in Denver, Colorado, USA and adore the AG gang and the inspiring makeovers. The joy and humor, the practical tips and how-to diys are such fun for all ages and incomes. I was so happy to have s new video after the holidays!
"Dad's mad" lol. I just realized why the humor you all share is so funny to watch. It's goofy, fun, chaotic energy & then Graham gives patient dad vibes💖
FYI for people whose main source of heat is a radiator: you have to use special paint or you will be WASTING A LOT OF MONEY because the paint won't allow the heat to disperse as effectively.
I’m also worried about the wallpaper, since it is peel and stick it can’t be sealed i guess, but how will it then hold up against the humidity in the bathroom? (Also, in Sweden where I live, you can’t just put any light fixture you want in a bathroom, but that’s our problem I guess :) )
@@wandadelacruz24867 months into YOUR future, I still have this question. Curious as to how both radiator and wallpaper have held up in these conditions. :)
@@ingelawahlgren2702 this bathroom is doomed for failure, the wrong paint on the rad, the wrong type of wallpaper, its gonna be really humid in there and theres gonna be a ton of peeling, especially in the fluctuating canadian weather
The only thing I'm concerned about is how wallpaper and other wooden decor would fair in a high humidity zone like a bathroom. I hope the type of wallpaper you got is water-proof, or at least can handle moisture. Same with the wooden outlet decor, since it looks like it's not properly coated to protect from splash damage.
I don’t know how you do it every time! I just did a refresh on my bathroom and I love it but there’s always something not quite right. I think I need Carla to film my bathroom for added wow factor lol! She doesn’t get enough credit, I didn’t realize how hard capturing the essence of a space is, especially a small one! Great job!
Looks great! A sweet shower curtain hack to make it look/feel even more luxe is to get two shower curtains and drape them on either side like you would window curtains. looks great open and closed.
love the pink, gold and green combination! the wallpaper is stunning, and the ceiling light really works. Love the little shelf on the radiator and that lamp you chose. Amazing job!
Table lamp for the bathroom. Sorry no movement, my mom has done it for years. She switches them out at Christmas and places small Christmas trees in the bathroom. Always give a cozy vibe and when you have company you just leave them on and there is no glaring light announcing where the bathroom is. Love your tips and tricks. I start my Saturday watching with DIY Dannie, move to the DIY Huntress and finish with you Alexandra. I'm gathering ideas for my laundry/main bathroom in my house remodel. Too big of a project to tackle myself but for sure going to integrate some of your ideas.
I love the amount of belly laughs you guys have during each episode. You all make it so fun to watch these videos - not just for the beautiful makeovers but for the giggles and shenanigans that happen when you work with a cohesive and loving team. ❤
The Light and Peacock Gold inside shade Lamp & shelving are to Die for Moments...And the green paint is so pretty but do note when the heat Comes on both the soap & candle>> May just melt 🤣😂🤣 that is if that radiator gets "Really 🔥 Hot " >>Because I've done that on my Radiators; when I Lived in Chi town
I know the client loves this! ! My friends and I are blend of tropical, scandi, japandi minimalist so this bathroom destroyed our calm....a lot! But my mom liked it!
I just love Graham! He makes everything so much more interesting with you ladies. And he’s just so easy-going. I’m sure as he stands behind cameras he’s making faces at you saying no yes oh my gosh lol I bet the days are never dull! Actually, I was a little worried about all the wallpaper in such a small space and I’m really not a fan of pink anymore BUT I am in love that turned out really really gorgeous not just cute gorgeous I think it’s one of my new favorites of 2023! Great job guys!
THIS TURNED OUT SO STUNNING! I love how it went from a bathroom to a "POWDER ROOM" as soon as you installed the light fixture! 💗 I love your channel and your entire team so very much! Please don't ever stop! 💗💚💗💚💗
Missed opportunity: Changing the door to open out is a gamechanger for a very small bathroom. We did it for ours and it made it seem a lot bigger! I kept waiting for you guys to do it, but, alas....
Beautiful 💖 The original bathroom with the clean white look and "minimalism" is more my style and yet this makeover fits what the client wanted and is gorgeous and cohesive! The ceiling light and gold details are especially gorgeous!
The ONLY thing I would change is spray painting that towel bar gold instead of black, otherwise, so adorable! Definitely not in my house with only boys but... loving the floral wallpaper!
Absolutely gorgeous transformation. Love the pink and gold. One small niggle - I think the hand towel rail should have been spray painted gold too, the black jumps out at me....but such a stunning overall effect, beautifully done as always.
Alexandra, You always complete a FABULOUS job! Her bathroom looks so amazing and dare I say it "inviting!" My favorite change is that BEAUTIFUL light fixture you installed!
A D O R A B L E ! ! ! Love the wallpaper and the amazing light fixture. All the gold accents are perfect! Please have your client paint the little towel rod on the cabinet gold...it is screaming for it!! Love it all...so girly chic!
Love pink and green so much!!! Love when people want to make their bathroom a magical treasure box that's a fun surprise. I got so excited when I saw her inspo pics and knew Alexandra probably was too then the camera shoots to Alexandra with a smile on her face when Lauren was describing what she wanted.
Alexandra, you and your team really are THE BEST!! You make a regular home, look like a movie set with these make-overs!! ❤ You have no idea how many internationals fans eagerly await for you to drop a new one..
It's not even my aesthetic, but I was smiling so hard when I saw the reveal and the client's reaction. Absolutely L❤VED how you tied in the ceiling light fixture to the wallpaper pattern 👌🏾!
Not my person style but suits the tiles and personality of that bathroom. Like that you went all in with the wall paper rather than playing it safe and maybe doing just 1 wall.
I love the pink floor tile so so much. What you’ve done in this tiny bathroom makes such a beautiful statement. The wallpaper is beyond perfect for this space! What a stunning difference you’ve made in this small room. ❤
I love this bathroom, especially for a single young woman who loves pink! The wallpaper is absolutely beautiful, and that gold light fixture is perfect! The light olive green is just right in the space and, once again, all your finishing touches are spot on! Lovely!
Great job Team AG. BTW, Alexandra and Graham could start another business hanging peel and stick wallpaper. I have tried it with disastrous results. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone. You make it look so easy. How about a step by step tutorial for the rest of us?
This is probably my favorite makeover to date!!!! I love this vibe so much! My style is definitely 70s and 80s! I am currently 19 and my Mom told me that she thinks I was born in the wrong era haha! Love it!
Haha! I totally got what you meant by 'cottage in a field' - I had visions of Kate Winslet's character's cute cottage from 'The Holiday' movie. It's in a field...well almost :)
Oh my goodness Alexandra, this bathroom makeover is just the most beautiful, I am really loving that pink wallpaper, and Graham painting that radiator white kicked it up a big notch. I also love that green color you chose for the cabinet, it really is so cool that she has that gorgeous pink tile. I also am loving the gold faucet, those adorable cabinet handles, that beautiful mirror and that shelf next to it for more storage. So wonderful, love Graham's humor and how talented he is at doing all of these things, team AG is just the best. Thank you again for another awesome makeover and the video that was such a joy to watch, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😍💜💜💜💜
I really like how this bathroom turned out. My small bathroom does not have a window, but is smaller than this one! Love Graham too! Wish there was a Graham here.
It looks amazing! I love the idea of wallpaper in a bathroom but wouldn't the heat and moisture cause it to bubble up? I'm not very experienced with it but that would be my worry
You have convinced me to wallpaper a small space. Every time you have done this I want to redo my small spaces too, but this time I am. Thank you, love the retro look of this bathroom.
I LOVE the bathroom! I must say that I loved her original shower curtain but get that with the wallpaper it would have clashed. Beautiful "stone cottage in a field " vibes!💖
Green or pink gingham or pastel plaids or solid white are also good choices and they have rod covers in colors at certain bath stores available if the rod is silver & not gold 😍
I love this! I don't think she loved the wallpaper though, a 1970's Palm Beach look is quite far removed from the 1920's bathroom she asked for. I would have put a different wallpaper or maybe dusty rose pink paint on the walls, an Art Deco multi arch mirror, gold ornate taps, muted bronzy gold painted shelves. The cupboard handles & the loo roll holder are in keeping with the 20's style.
I love the results! It honestly already started out with a lot of potential, very bright, reasonable size and very cute floor tiles - but now it literally looks like a boutique hotel bathroom! 😍 This really inspired me to get going on the different-shades-of-brown-80s-nightmare that is my new flat's bathroom. 😬
Brown can be a vibe think of tree trunks & branches it's considered a neutral color in Design >>> ** there are shower curtains choices or peel and stick papers or tiles to help that situation easily and effectively changeable to add or subtract any color easily making Your Estectics Easier to achieve, even for Renters
The bathroom looks amazing !!! The combination of the golds, the pinks, and the green are simply stunning !!! You all did such a stellar job !!! It looks vintage and classy without being out of date. You are all very talented. I really enjoy your shows.
Super cute! I would have painted the silver parts of the cabinet above the toilet gold and also covered the fixings of the shelf - they are visible from below.
If you sew, or have a friend who sews, making a roman shade like this one is SUPER easy, and then you can customize it however you want. (I might actually use this idea for my bathroom cause I'm pretty sure I have enough scraps and leftover ribbon that I could pull this off in an afternoon. So excited!)
I love this, the wallpaper is gorgeous!! Does anyone know how well peel and stick holds up in humid/damp rooms like a bathroom? I’d be worried about the paper getting wet and then crinkling…
You all (maybe less so Graham😅) seem to have so much joy and laughter together, must be a fun group of people to work with. Also, the makeover looks incredible, it makes me happy when the wallpaper is on all the available walls. The room looks so chic and pretty! Well done team AG!!
I’m not a pink person, but I love what you did with this bathroom! I also love the reactions from people who truly appreciate what you and your team have created for them… Good work team!👏🏻
Yes, team AG is back! Thank you for a fun make-over. Once again a small space made beautiful. Even though its not my style and I really don't like the light fixture. But he, it is not my bathroom and Lauren really loves it. Most enthousiast I am about the corner with the mirror and the small shelf unit. Pure magic. Also the combination of the green vanity and the green shelf above the radiator. It grounds the place. Thanks for another half hour of joy in my day!
I love the wallpaper it is perfect. Thanks for the tip on the curtains. Great job guys! Gram is so cute because he doesn't realize how good looking he is.( No cocky attitude) and great smile. 😁
Alexandra! I love, love, LOVE that wall paper! What a fun choice. And the gold accents just finish it off. Personally, I think this is one of your best makeovers. It's often difficult to make a bathroom, especially a small bathroom, look so stylish. Great job ya'll.
Every time I see a bathroom made over like that I am like "I want to do this to my bathroom, it looks so good!". And then I have to remind myself that I am from Germany and we almost always have tiles from the floor to the ceiling in bathrooms 😂 So no chance to wallpaper anywhere in bathrooms. I loved this one so much!!
The styling above the radiator is perfection!!! Would have never thought of a little lamp. The seashell knobs!!! You all did a wonderful job, looks amazing!
How can my obsession with Graham keep growing!? Endless love and admiration for him and his humor and talent!
I still want to know the exact name of his little shop vac!

That's what I was wondering. Shellac has melting issues so I wonder why a shellac based primer was used.

I would never want a pink bathroom. But if I did, this is the one I would want. Nice job. Cheers!
The background is pink and the flowers are cream. Really pretty!
