Frank, the editing is awesome. I am just some 32 year old graphic designer, you'd think I have no reason to watch a woodworking channel. But it helps me so much with creative problem solving and lateral thinking, plus I grew up watching This Old House and carpentry shows on PBS, so this is my whole jam. That and I have anxiety and depression, but your videos help calm my day. Thanks for all you do, and looking forward to see your next project!
You continue to be, probably, my all-time favorite RUclips creator. There's something that is both very relaxing and deeply satisfying about both the project you are making or building and the way in which you edit your videos that just make me smile inside and out. Thanks for letting me watch.
Been an amazing journey to watch this table and its legs come to life. I love the fourth leg, really adds uniqueness and character to a very impressive table top.
I think it’s fantastic. My first regular job was spent standing at a drum sander shaping oak claw foot table legs. 30 years later whenever I put on a 3M dust mask the smell immediately takes me back there.
Thats cool !! well, there are 3 other legs, your wife and kids could come up with their own ideas for each one then everyones happy and it's super unique, a little of everyone in it :)
I like that one-off leg for the Lego table! It adds A LOT of visual interest. [also, the video effects and production values for this episode were EXCELLENT!]
I can't help but feel like we're watching the Mad Scientist Woodworker evolve from the unassuming Architect. LOOOOOVE IT, definitely hasn't been done on "The RUclips", I see a new superhero movie in our future!!
Very nice. Thinking of the Lego theme… a Lego man head would be a cool object to turn. The eyes and mouth could be from a darker wood like walnut. And it sets you up to have the rest of the figure as a future project.
Great video Frank! There is a simple technique for quickly making a cylinder from the first piece of wood... You write a short G code: turn de 4th axis while moving slowly the X axis, without changing Z height. It's like a spiral profile. Of course you are a master wood turner, but you can use the same code for any piece, just setting the initial bit height and changing the distance for X. Have a nice Sunday everyone! Max from Argentina 🇦🇷
In my opinion you should go back and make three other legs now that are all different, that would be super cool. Idk what the other three should be, but one of them should definitely be a robot.
Mr Howrath: God must have thought Himself pretty clever when he created you. Part engineer part artist part programmer part cinematographer and part architect - not to mention apparently a nice family man too. You, sir, are the modern equivalent of a Renaissance Man!
More than a leg to stand on, you got a leg up on that project, Frank! What is nice about the CNC now is that you can make more legs...which I think 4 clawfeet would be nice. Awesome results as always!
Hey Frank, your videos are soo cool. I am inspired to up my computer skills as well as woodworking. Your dilemma with the adapter, you can just drill some more holes in your existing metal adapter to accept smaller pieces and make them spaced out to not take away strength. Your shop is awesome too!
I do kinda like it honestly. Never seen a cnc machine that rotates like that, interesting! But the table overall seems a bit impractical 😅 Things I look for in a table: 1. Is the top flat? Nope. 2. Is the top solid? Nope.
I think the reason the leg looks human is that the first joint of the leg bends like a knee - as on a human - and not like an ankle as on a cat, dog or horse. We have the same parts, but on animals, the heel is never close to the ground and isn't part of the foot. Nice sculpting!
This could be a whole thing. You could make 3 (or two) completely new legs. (One mechanical looking, one plant-looking, one connected or interlocking geometric shapes). Then you can swap them out based on your mood or holiday. (One that looks like a stack of presents, or hearts, or suits (for poker night) that kind of thing.)
"Slightly Different" he says, HA HA thats a good job Frank, will we see more sculpting, I like that, so many things can be done and was are only limited to our imagination, AWESOME!
13:55 If your family doesn't like your leg, they can each design their own. Then everyone wins 😁 EDIT: I see someone else had the same exact thought :P Great project and never a dull moment throughout. Those walking legs scared the bejeezus out of me lol.
Frank, you did a fantastic job designing the leg and cutting it! I think it looks great! If you made another leg AND a couple harms with sort of hands, it would be a leg alien walking on its hands and legs as our four legged animals do (onlt wirth two arms/hands). Haha.
This has to be your weirdest projekt so far. That table has so many things going on in a lot of design languages at the same time. The contrast between the lego and the foot is an interesting way to go. Perhaps explore that dynamic more and loose the 3 other legs that dont say anything interesting? Other than that, superbly filmed, edited and narrated as usual
it came out great! :) if i might make a suggestion, i saw you went right for the higher resolution sculpting. it's a lot easier and faster to flesh out the model at a lower resolution or even in edit mode first and then go back for more definition.
As always, excellent craftsmanship, design and end-product, not to mention editing and explaining! I’ve never been a fan of ball and claw legs, but I always respected and admired the craftsmanship and skills involved in making them. Your’s went a little further with the “animal” upper portion. Personally I’d have opted for another Lego-inspired piece for the legs, but that’s just me. I’ve always wanted to mention that every machine in that workshop looks comically large! Love it! 😉
I love that you have a Quake III shortcut on your desktop 😄
I love the mixed set look. That is truly a great thing about lego blocks.
I'm a forklift driver and have subbed 365 channels and none of them feature forklifts. Well, maybe CEE.
I first came for the editing. BTW the Frankenstein look if the table is of circumstance.
You continue to be, probably, my all-time favorite RUclips creator. There's something that is both very relaxing and deeply satisfying about both the project you are making or building and the way in which you edit your videos that just make me smile inside and out. Thanks for letting me watch.
Not sure if this was mentioned but the jaws on your 4 jaw chuck can be turned inside out in order to grab onto larger pieces!
Now you can have a different leg for each season, for each holiday, for each team in the big game... LOTS of projects!
I like the quake 3 shortcut 😄🤟
Been an amazing journey to watch this table and its legs come to life. I love the fourth leg, really adds uniqueness and character to a very impressive table top.
What a treat to have your video drop. You bring joy into the world with each video. Thank you!
Wow, the sky's the limit with this setup !!
When you said you were the only one that really liked it, I was reminded of the Christmas Story Lamp. Loved the video. Thanks Frank
Thank you Frank for sharing your time and effort with us. I appreciate you for this.
I love the leg! I agree that the juxtaposition is great. Definitely a conversation starter
Nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee and a new Frank Howarth video on a Sunday morning!
The Coffee Table Island of Dr. Moreau. Exceptionally designed and executed, and seasonally apropos. Well done!
This is one of your coolest projects. Truly art. Keep it up Frank!
I think it’s fantastic. My first regular job was spent standing at a drum sander shaping oak claw foot table legs. 30 years later whenever I put on a 3M dust mask the smell immediately takes me back there.
c'est exactement ce qu'il manquait a cet univers pour être complet !
Three pirates and an alien are now hopping around on one leg!
So good on so many levels. Wood, Lego, Blender, CNC and the fantastic art! Looks almost like a gargoyle claw.
I wouldn't have ever thought of reading these words combined in one Sentence but Frank made it possible.
In my opinion, That's a Major Award!
Thats cool !! well, there are 3 other legs, your wife and kids could come up with their own ideas for each one then everyones happy and it's super unique, a little of everyone in it :)
This is a fantastic addition to the Lego Table, I like that it doesn't match and could be a seasonal element.
You are an artist. I think this organic design is just the beginning of lots more beautiful artwork to come.
really love this whole tables trilogy
Frank,
Thanks for all your fantastic content!
You are a true inspiration 👍🏼
You should make a leg lamp from a Christmas story that has the peg on the bottom to put in the holes on top for Christmas! Just don't make it frajeely
cat's approval says it all.
I like it with the one biological leg and the other industrial legs thanks for sharing
You could do a robot leg and just have an assortment of legs. Change them around for fun.
I love it! I l’île to see the process of how you think and to see the project come together. Awesome job my Friend. Make On
It's a major award!
As always, very interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing
I absolutely love this. Well done
The table went from - Cool table, dude! To - Duude! Freaking cool table!!!
thats awesome! it made the normal "lego table" to a piece of fine art
I like that with this you can randomly make and swap out different legs on a whim. Maybe a lego skeleton leg would look good too.
I really like the video editing you have one your videos... They really make you stand out from the other makers on RUclips
Cool project! Interesting use of the CNC.
The Cyborg!! Love it!
Very nice. Thinking of the Lego theme… a Lego man head would be a cool object to turn. The eyes and mouth could be from a darker wood like walnut. And it sets you up to have the rest of the figure as a future project.
I was seriously thinking this was gonna be a full set of legs. But I like the way it was done
That new leg is way more interesting than the other 3. Looks great!
Great job Frank as usual.
I am getting Christmas ornament vibes for this year. Kind of like the leg lamp from A Christmas Story...
Ok, that looks super dope! I am sure at some point your family will agree with that 😁
Love it. So good, thank you Frank.
Love this look as well. Your videos are so incredibly inspiring!
More than a leg to stand on, you got a leg up on that project, Frank! What is nice about the CNC now is that you can make more legs...which I think 4 clawfeet would be nice. Awesome results as always!
Nice work! That took some planning!
I like it., might even like other three that way., I have yet to try 4th access, maybe soon. I try something. thanks again for the motivation.
Lovely as always.
That works well together.
Hey Frank, your videos are soo cool. I am inspired to up my computer skills as well as woodworking. Your dilemma with the adapter, you can just drill some more holes in your existing metal adapter to accept smaller pieces and make them spaced out to not take away strength. Your shop is awesome too!
That's really neat, Frank. Looks like it was a lot of fun. At least the cat seemed to like it.
Bill
Apart from the leg itself, I like your definition of 'slightly different'...
First i thought to the movie *Metropolis* and then i remembered the film poster of *Rollerball* aha
Really nice as usual !
It does, oddly work together!
I do kinda like it honestly. Never seen a cnc machine that rotates like that, interesting!
But the table overall seems a bit impractical 😅
Things I look for in a table:
1. Is the top flat? Nope.
2. Is the top solid? Nope.

I think the leg looks great! I also like your "endgrain" rug.
"when something is small, you really can't do anything with it", yes exactly, thats my problem!
Looks great! It would also be neat to do a minifig "claw and ball"
13:55 If your family doesn't like your leg, they can each design their own. Then everyone wins 😁
EDIT: I see someone else had the same exact thought :P
Great project and never a dull moment throughout. Those walking legs scared the bejeezus out of me lol.
Very nice, but interesting enough that you are using Blender sculpting features. You are a unique woodworker artist. Inspiring work.
Great project! It's turning into a "Frank"enstein work of art
Oh cool, you play Quake III Arena! Now I wonder if this leg was somehow inspired by Orbb...
I had a thought to drill four more holes in the chuck adapter. This would add future project versatility.
I agree with the look of random Lego pieces. But now I feel like it should have 4 totally different legs.
That's so cool!
Reminds me of the leg lamp from 'A Christmas Story'
One more time you amaze me with your creativity. Excellent job!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍❤️
I love how that table just gets weirder and weirder. I think it needs ears and a tail.
Very nice what you make , and I 'm also a Lego fan
Dude you have to do 4 of them now!
Nice LEG-o build.
Love it. Make 3 more legs all different, one of which has to be a Lego leg.
I like that about it, too.
Frank, you did a fantastic job designing the leg and cutting it! I think it looks great!

Fantastic work, Frank! Really well done! 😃
And I absolutely agree, this feels even more like a lego piece!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
You come up with such unique, complex, and beautiful ideas, but this, this my friend is an abomination 😆
As always, excellent craftsmanship, design and end-product, not to mention editing and explaining!
I’ve never been a fan of ball and claw legs, but I always respected and admired the craftsmanship and skills involved in making them. Your’s went a little further with the “animal” upper portion.

9:47 "wearing out the z-axis" is that something u gotta worry about with CNCs? what part would actually get worn out?
The final piece reminds me of Sid's mutant toys in the movie "Toy Story."
I like your Frankentable!
From a design perspective, I feel like this table should have a single, centered leg with a smaller Lego wheel base.
7:50 that scared the shit out of me lol
Startled me too.
Very nice project. Maybee color the 4th leg in skin color. To stand out even more from the rest?
You'er a Master of the Craft way does it remind me of A Chrismas story lamp leg
If they don't like it, they can make their own table.
It's definitely the weirdest thing I've seen you make, Frank.
