In this video, you learn how to crochet flat circles How to create a magic ring How to join crochet projects using the Slip Stitch Zig Zag method #Potholders
Oooh I can’t wait to try this out! Forgive me if you say it in the video (I watched it through once already but didn’t hear), but about how many yards of yarn does this project use in total?
Tip: If your potholder turns wavy after a few rounds, try tightening your stitches. I was incredibly frustrated with my 2nd and 3rd potholder, having to unravel most of it since the waviness just kept getting worse and it wouldn't lay flat. I used much more tension on my fourth one and the results were much better. I wrapped the yarn between all four of my fingers, and yes this did cause my hand to cramp up sooner, but at least I got through the entire potholder without it becoming wavy.
Yes, it probably will melt. Even if you use a blend of cotton and acrylic yarn it is likely that the stitches will melt together, stick to your pot or in worst case scenarios catch fire.
Finally, someone I can understand. Thank you ❤️

Won't it melt unless I use cotton yarn?

Is it 4 ply cotton yarn?
Yes. Thanks for watching.
