This serum works WONDERS! I am 65 and I am routinely assumed to be in my 50,s. Now, I realise most of you are probably young, I will advise you to get on a good skin care routine and stick with it! It is always the motto, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Invest in your skin as it pays off and Estée Lauder products are, in my opinion after long term use, THE BEST! Your skin will change with time, as will which Estee products you will use, but stick with them and you will be your best at any age. That really is all you can ask of life, isn’t it?
ANR along with their Revitalizing Supreme is the perfect combo. Of course, always use SPF and re-apply as needed!! As you say, the key is consistency!!
I’m 41 and a half and my whole life never touched my skin other than washing it. I started experimenting with a skincare routine about 3 years ago (so when I was 38). I like this serum cuz it’s not greasy. I’ve tried a bunch of other stuff but I never really noticed any differences….where I was putting the serums and creams still started to wrinkle over time. I get confused and overwhelmed.

This was the first anti-aging serum I ever used since my early 20s and I’ve gone through multiple bottles now. I use it day and night and I’ve so far not found a serum that beats what this delivers for my skin. It’s packed with skin-loving ingredients and has zero irritation. It’s a great investment and worth the price tag. Literally anybody, any age can use this serum and benefit from it 😍

I’ve been using this serum for slightly over a month now and my skin has honestly never looked or felt this good. I got this as a sample about a year ago and my skin was so good throughout that period of time. I’ve always wanted to get a bigger bottle but the price tag is just too hefty for me. Fast forward to early October, saw the 100ml bottles on sale for like 50% off at a beauty department store that was moving to a new location and immediately snagged TWO of them. My skin looks so good, I stare at it from time to time. I don’t know what it is about this serum but something about this serum on my Asian skin is just so compatible. I’ve tried so many serums now but this one, this is it. I use this one only at night though now and then, I do use it in the morning, depending on the skincare that I use that day because this is really hydrating. Anyway, once I run through these two 100ml bottles that I have, I will definitely repurchase. The price tag may be hefty but if you can afford it, it’s a really good one.
but its the ingredients, not the product, basically you pay just for the brand, you can use Ordinary and have just as perfect skin if not more...(The Ordinary is mostly cheap and really effective because it doesnt invest money into fancy packing and marketing,...

The nice thing is, if you use any of their other products, like the foundation( me😊), you wait for Ulta's black Friday sales, when it's a great discount, and stock up- and they ALWAYS give that serum away( sample size) with a purchase!❤ I have 5 Estee Lauder gift bags right now that I got during that sale, I buy 2 foundations per order( or whatever other things I like from them) and they gave a free gift bag with $60 purchase- so I did multiple orders, and got 5 gift bags❤ They each have the night serum, a pot of eye cream, a pot of face cream, and a foaming face cleanser! Good size samples, too! I don't use them every night, but I think I'm gonna start! I bet I'll get a month out of each bag❤ Great way to save money, as the foundation was 30% off, too!😊
Thanks for you review. I'm a skincare junkie who tries A LOT of skincare products over the years, and have multiple skin issues including acne, sensitivity & hyperpigmentation. Somehow, i always goes back to ANR for the past 10 years, whenever i mess up my skin with new product & skincare routine. I think it's the fermented ingredient that helps with my skin barrier repair & yes, as you said..Missha can't compete with this serum. I also bummed that after all these years, i still can't find as good / better replacement..since the serum is pretty expensive. Now that I'm older & knows what works best with my skin, i simplify my routine, & this serum isn't going anywhere.
Hi Ekay! Thanks for sharing your review!! I've heard from SO many lovers of ANR like us who have used it for a decade or more .... that is just incredible. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair will be a part of my skin care routine for a long time :) Stay well and keep in touch.
@@deepzvlp it doesn’t have any of the regular ingredients used to reduce hyperpigmentation. It’s only a hydrating serum with minimal brightening from the bisabolol active (from chamomile).
@@deepzvlp it has some clinical studies behind it helping with wrinkle reduction and hydration. Truthfully, almost anything could be tested to have similar results, if the formulation is similar with equal expertise. The clinical tests were expensive, so that explains some of the cost. Brand recognition and resale via retailers is another cause for the high price. I would choose one serum for hydration and another for hyperpigmentation. Cheaper, and more effective in the long run, since you have to keep using any products you decide to choose.
I love love love Estée Lauder everything!! But I do have a question can I use it at the same time as Tretinion? Like which goes first on the skin? I usually alternate ANR one night and tretinion the other but is it safe to use them at the same time???
Hi Trevor. I bought the serum, face cream, and eye cream. After using night and day for 3 days, my skin broke out. Now I'm using a smaller amount. Backed off on the moisturizer for now to see which one is irritating my skin. I will also try using it once a day instead of twice. What are your thoughts?
Hi, you’ve mentioned that ANR is fragrance-free? I bought mine from an online Estee Lauder Flagship store because of your review and mine has that citrus-like smell. Is it really fragrance-free? Why does mine have smell like a vitamin C serum and the consistency is very watery? 😅 the serum kind of drops even if I don’t pinch the dropper itself. Hoping for enlightenment. Thank you!
I use this occasionally, when I can afford it and I agree with the fact it doesn’t stay greasy on your face, which greasy face is a big pet peeve of mine, I cannot stand my face being greasy!!! A greasy face makes my face itch. This serum doesn’t seem to just sit on my skin like many others, it seems to absorb. I remember when my husband bought it for me years ago and he was astonished at the price as was I. But, if it’s a good product, you’re going to pay.
Hey hey Trev, thanks for making such an amazing 1 year update on the ANR formula & can I say, wow, your skin looks like it has definitely been reaping the benefits of this serum! This is helpful. Thank you. I have a nice Esteee Lauder stash and I need to use it. I have dark circles around my eyes and some dark spots on my chin ugh that I'm trying to get rid of.
How can you combine this serum with retinol? My mother uses this serum for 4 years, but she wants to start to use retinol. Can she apply both in one night or she has to alternate? Thanks
Do you think the Advansed night repair serum couse to acne? I bought it,and i use,but i think afte one or two weeks my skin has alot of acne ,I dont know why,
I think the formulation is a bit quirky. It’s great that useful actives like bisabolol and squalane are there with the humectants glycerin and hyaluronic acid, but the emphasis on various ferments is still a bit dubious. Overall, it’s overpriced for the low number of clinically effective actives, since cheaper options offer all those ingredients and more.

Would you recommend me using a different serum in the night along with that? the este lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum ? Please let me know. Basically if I could use two different serums and also if this is a good combination to use.
Hi Gabriella! Yes, ANR II is the previous version of the formula! I loved that one as well ... But the new Advanced Night Repair should be available for you! Let me know how it works out.
Haha I’m a skincare junkie and I know and love ANR but I still had to watch your video anyway. You could make a video about once a month about ANR and I would watch it. 😂
So here’s the deal, and I think it’s funny. I have been “into” skincare for approximately 10 maybe 15 years, meaning on those Reddit skincare boards- the one for Asian Skincare and the one for any skincare. So basically I started out just trying a gazillion things over time and learning and enjoying it and getting amazing results thank God. Plus I was a watching all the usual skincare RUclipsrs. I mention this because YES I’m getting to a point. I used to scoff at ANR and felt sorry for the uneducated people who used it because I knew what the ingredients in ANR were/are (more or less) and I thought oh well I know all about the superior and less expensive products so ANR is ridiculous, (Although I have some very pricey Asian products such as things from the SU:M line). So getting to the point FINALLY I have only been using ANR for maybe a year and I only used it because I got a deluxe sample of it. And OMG I could not believe how much I loved it and the results I got from the beginning. So the point is that i am someone who has been down the skincare rabbit hole and this is HG status for me. So after I used it I started googling it more just to see other people ooh and aah over it and that’s how I found you!! The end. I can shut up now.
I like the bottle... I enjoyed your video, thank you for it.. the question that I have for you is one... I was given 4 products for the face but as much as I read it I only understand how to use one of them... the rest of them I don't know how... 1. advanced night repair intensive recovery, 2. The synchronized multi recovery complex, and the last one. Eye concentrate matrix... how do I use them???
I'm so confuse what to buy as there are 2 of this, the Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex and the Intense Reset Concentrate one. What would you recommend???
I don't get it, I used this serum and my skin looked more tired and dry than before the application, there was flakiness, especially on my nose and forehead (I was using moisturiser after the serum). I'm 33, and I have mostly normal, imperfection-prone skin, I use light skincare with niacinamide. My mum has oily but dehydrated skin and had the same effect! How is it possible that I haven't found any information about this on the Internet? Anyone had a similar situation? 🤔

I bet I'll get a month out of each bag❤ Great way to save money, as the foundation was 30% off, too!😊
Thank you for your review, It’s quite pricey but it seems that it’s really worth it! So I’ll definitely buy it.
I’ve been using it since 2002! ❤ my all time fav!
Are you still using ANR did it help in hyperpigmentation
@@deepzvlp it doesn’t have any of the regular ingredients used to reduce hyperpigmentation. It’s only a hydrating serum with minimal brightening from the bisabolol active (from chamomile).
@@ShaneyElderberry thanks for the reply. If it is just hydrating lotion is it worth spending so much money? Other products can also provide hyderation
Your skin looks great! How long does it take to go through a bottle?
Thank you! It takes me about a year to go through a large bottle of ANR!
Just watched this whole video. Thank for going to such detail and giving it to us straight. Love your content. ❤
I just started am I'm definitely SOLD!
Btw, I loved your video ❤️
I love love love Estée Lauder everything!! But I do have a question can I use it at the same time as Tretinion? Like which goes first on the skin? I usually alternate ANR one night and tretinion the other but is it safe to use them at the same time???
I have the same question!
Of course everyone's skin is different, but I've used mine on alternating days and can report no irritation.
Hi Trevor. I bought the serum, face cream, and eye cream. After using night and day for 3 days, my skin broke out. Now I'm using a smaller amount. Backed off on the moisturizer for now to see which one is irritating my skin. I will also try using it once a day instead of twice. What are your thoughts?
Best serum for my face. I dont want anything else. Estee Lauder advanced night repair is da best
Hi! How does this compare to the Clarins Double Serum that’s also really popular?
Your skin looks great.
Thank you so much!
Omg i totally love your background 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you :)))))
Please make a video on how to layer ANR serum. Can we use it with actives like Vitamin c, retinol, niacinamide? I just got my first bottle
Would like to know also. May 2023
Me too October 2024 😂
Hi, you’ve mentioned that ANR is fragrance-free? I bought mine from an online Estee Lauder Flagship store because of your review and mine has that citrus-like smell. Is it really fragrance-free? Why does mine have smell like a vitamin C serum and the consistency is very watery? 😅 the serum kind of drops even if I don’t pinch the dropper itself. Hoping for enlightenment. Thank you!
ur skin is amazing omg what do you use omg
I have extremely oily skin. Will this make me shiny or clog my pores? Also, how do you layer this with retinal 0.1 ?
Interesting question. 🤔. Would also like to know. May 2023
I've just checked it but i does not have ViT A ? How are you claiming that it has.
I've really enjoyed using ANR in my skincare routine over the last several years!
How can i order the watet bottle
What moisturizer do you use after?
Do we need to apply moisturiser after this or is this independently enough ?
This might be a stupid question but can you still use the estee lauder advanced night repair serum in the moring.
Please let me know to layer ANR with actives like Vitamin c, niacinamide, Retinol. I just got new ANR bottle and bumped onto your channel, thanks
I wanna know too
do i need to store this in the refrigerator as i live in a hot and humid environment... or room cabinet is fine... plz reply
In the cabinet should be fine :)
your skin is gorgeous
Hey hey Trev, thanks for making such an amazing 1 year update on the ANR formula & can I say, wow, your skin looks like it has definitely been reaping the benefits of this serum! I am a virgin the Estée Lauder brand 🤦♂️.. But.. your video has inspired me to create a account & add it to 🛒.. today!!! I’m all about a good luxury 🧪… please keep the new content coming, i’m 💯 percent waiting for more.
Hayyy Jay! It's about time for you to add Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair to your skin care routine! I will expect your full review once you've tried it out. Thank you for your continued support :)
Thank you for the reco, Trevor!!
I love ARN serum. It definitely works for me. ♥️♥️♥️
is the serum a yellowish or pinkish color? in your vid looks yellowish, but i just bought my bottle and it has a pink hue instead of yellow
Mine is a yellowish color!
Do you feel like this product only provides temporary results? As in your skin is dependent on it in order to see results? And if product use is discontinued results are erased?
This is helpful. Thank you. I have a nice Esteee Lauder stash and I need to use it. I have dark circles around my eyes and some dark spots on my chin ugh that I'm trying to get rid of.
How can you combine this serum with retinol?
My mother uses this serum for 4 years, but she wants to start to use retinol. Can she apply both in one night or she has to alternate?
Thanks
Do you think the Advansed night repair serum couse to acne?
I bought it,and i use,but i think afte one or two weeks my skin has alot of acne ,I dont know why,
Can I use this with my prescription Retinoid cream?
I think the formulation is a bit quirky. It’s great that useful actives like bisabolol and squalane are there with the humectants glycerin and hyaluronic acid, but the emphasis on various ferments is still a bit dubious. Overall, it’s overpriced for the low number of clinically effective actives, since cheaper options offer all those ingredients and more.
Like wich brands.can you mention?
@@ingrid26 For hyperpigmentation, Dr Shah’s “Remedy for dark spots” serum. For general calming+hydration: Chemist Confessions Aquafix serum. For 0.3% retinol+dark eye circles: Chemist Confessions Double Play Retinol serum.
For general light hydrating to mix with other layers of treatments: Mixsoon Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
@@ingrid26 sorry, it looks like my previous reply was deleted. Mixsoon Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a good base humectant to blend with any actives. I’m fond of the Dr Shah Remedy serum for dark spots, and various products from Chemist Confessions.
Hi, I use tretinoin every other night, do I use the serum after or before the tretinoin? thanks.
I keep my routine with just a simple moisturizer on tretinoin nights!
Thanks for the update. I'll be trying the Missha Time Revolution first as it's within my budget. If it doesn't work out on my skin then I'll switch over to Estee Lauder ANR
Hey! Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule is a great place to start! Make sure to let me know how your skin loves it :)
@@TrevorRitchie Will do 😊
Many keep saying Missha Time Revolution Serum is like a dupe for Advanced Night Repair Serum. I don't really know how true is it.
@@AngeeloRabaya I have been using Missha serum for about 4 month. And I dont think its quite remarkable good difference.. still tired skin and for long air conditioner condition. It just okay. Not good .just okay. For anti aging , I cannot tell
Does this mean it’s not pregnancy safe? I didn’t know about the retin a!
I'm so close to buying it honestly xD Can I use it with a vitC serum? And would a vitC serum go 1st or 2nd?
Hey Lulu! Yes, you can use Advanced Night Repair with Vitamin C Serum! I would use your vitamin c in the morning and advanced night repair at night 😀
@@TrevorRitchie that's a great idea :D Thanks
Any time ❤️❤️
I just started and hope it helps with acne too.
I use ANR, I read about the MISHA and I brought, It was a poor comparison, No, It did nothing and it sits there in my vanity.
I want to buy and have discoloration on my Eyelids, dark circles plus puffiness. Don’t sleep much because I work at 3 am . I’m almost 50 and don’t suffer acne but my face is dry. Will this really help me repair my eyelids color with this product ? Please advise. 🙏 Thank You.
Hi Veronica. To address the discoloration concerns, I always suggest speaking to a dermatologist.
This serum doesn’t feature any of the actives used to reduce hyperpigmentation.
Hey guys I have a question, I am using la roche vitamin C serum in the morning. Would you recommend me using a different serum in the night along with that? the este lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum ? Please let me know.
Basically if I could use two different serums and also if this is a good combination to use.
Try also Lancome Advance Genifique!!Love it😍😍😍
I keep hearing this! Thank you for the great suggestion 🥰
Do I use it before snail mucin or after???
Omg thank you for this!
i just bought the advance night repair recovery complex II. Is this the formula from before? I’m not sure if it’s any good now, it hasn’t been opened
Hi Gabriella! Yes, ANR II is the previous version of the formula! I loved that one as well ... But the new Advanced Night Repair should be available for you! Let me know how it works out.
@@TrevorRitchie Ah thank you so much!!!!
Are the ampoules good of this serum they protect the potency of the serum so whats not to love
I have not tried the ampoules before. But I do love serum ampoules in my routine.
What is the name of the stones in the background ?
Haha I’m a skincare junkie and I know and love ANR but I still had to watch your video anyway. You could make a video about once a month about ANR and I would watch it. 😂
You love Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair as much as me :) I can't say enough good things. How long have you been using the ANR serum?
@@susanleary1843 I totally agree! I love Estee Lauder ANR serum!!!
Trevor, what do you think about the Clarins Double Serum in comparison?
I need to do a full video on this. Thanks for the suggestion.
The video cuts off just when u are saying your final verdict on the product.
On it! Your skin looks like beautiful
Hi please tell me can you use ANR first then tretonoin...which moisturizer do I need after the tretonoin
what serum do you recommend for dark spots?
I've had good results with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense!
I'm so confuse what to buy as there are 2 of this, the Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex and the Intense Reset Concentrate one. What would you recommend???
Where do you buy those himalayan lamps
I don't get it, I used this serum and my skin looked more tired and dry than before the application, there was flakiness, especially on my nose and forehead (I was using moisturiser after the serum). I'm 33, and I have mostly normal, imperfection-prone skin, I use light skincare with niacinamide. My mum has oily but dehydrated skin and had the same effect! How is it possible that I haven't found any information about this on the Internet? Anyone had a similar situation? 🤔
Thank you for sharing your experience!
It causes me a slight itchy/tingly sensation is that normal?!
Can this serum be applied in the morning too?
i like your video ..its helps me a lot.. i by it this serum before two days..the 50ml.. ..😍😍😍😍i love it
I'm glad you like it :) I just love Estee Lauder ANR serum
Have you had a break to test if your skin changes when not using anr...? No so how can you be sure it's the product changing uour skin?...
I have very sensitive skin. acne in adult age, can i use this serum? Can it cure my acne or worse it more?
Hi AA! I would recommend getting a sample size of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair to see how it works with your skin and acne before you commit to a full bottle. Or you could purchase it from somewhere with a return policy. Stay in touch and let me know how it works.
Trevor is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair good for both summer and winter? My skin tends to get pretty oily in the summer and dry in the winter. Will the serum be ok to use all year round in a 4 season environment?!
Love how informative this is!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum is good for all skin types and is perfect in your summer and winter skin care routine!! I like to use my EL ANR serum morning and night all year long!
Trevor what do you think about charlot tetilbury's night cream ?
Hi Andrea, I haven't tried Charlotte Tilbury night cream before - but I will add it to my must try skin care list! Have you ever tried Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair before?
@@TrevorRitchie yes for about 5 months I do like it. I use the advanced night eye and advanced night serum then I started using charlotte tilbury night cream and fell in love wanted to hear your opinion because j did start the ANR set because of you ;)
