I use to listen to their singles compilation album almost everyday during the 11th grade in high school.
They're a great punk band with strong pop melodies. 👍🏻

what an underrated band...they had all the fuck all punk style songs....yet they could make an honest sweet song like this...I sense it wasn't just for the charts, I feel they meant it. but to tbh idk. No disrespect to Sex Pistols, but they were definitely had an image to uphold, I felt Buzzcocks could just be themselves.

It's what I defend from punk. Let each one be as they want to be. Bisexual and unapologetic, Pete never hid it. His music reflects that part of Pete and it's wonderful right? R.I.P. Pete Shelley (Peter Campbell McNeish).

@@noestahechalamielparatuboca I couldn't agree more...once someone puts regulations and guidelines on it the argument seems irrelevant. But not to divert from what you said, Wonderful Music and RIP Pete Shelley!

Remember first hearing 'Ever Fallen In Love' when it came out. It was amazing! Had something the other punk stuff I was into didn't really touch. Last saw the Buzzcocks not long before Pete died. They still had the charisma and ability

John Maher would have fitted well in a heavy metal band!
