WOW THIS WORKS!!!! I have been raising chickens for over 20 years at high altitude, and finally, I have a technique that works perfectly every time. I always figured the altitude and my eggs' freshness made peeling disastrous. I thought I had tried everything, from pinholes to vinegar, and nothing worked. My girls have been working overtime this week, and I wanted to try one more suggestion, and I happened upon this video. I used a dozen eggs that were laid this morning. This technique worked like a dream. I did not have to wait 30 minutes in an ice bath. It worked so well that I felt dumb for not knowing it sooner. I used a spoon with a thin edge, and every egg came completely clean, and it was fast and simple. This spoon technique changed my life. THANK YOU .

Hey. That's cool. Will have to try it. My wife doesn't like complications. Me I just deal with problems the best I can. Definetly gonna try this myself. So I can tell her how to do it an easier way. Thanks.

Worked Like A CHARM!!! Researched this for 3 days experimenting with Scotch Eggs! Super helpful Thank you ma'am
Emphasis on spanking the bottom with your spoon to give you an accessible entry point :/ > Sorry for the wording but hope that helps :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’m so happy with how well this method worked. Almost all of my eggs came out perfect. The ones that didn’t were still much better than they were when I was doing it a different way. Made my day!

YES IT WORKS!!! This method completely worked!!! I watched the video and boiled my eggs and ice bathed them exactly as showed. The spoon is key and tapping the egg with the spoon. The shells came right off! AWESOME THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! 😀

This did not work for me and I am SOOO sad. Our eggs are fresh from our girls and never can figure out why they do not peel pretty.
I have tried vinegar in the water.
I tried this video method and still too much white pulls away.
My only success with pretty peeled hard boiled eggs are white eggs from the store 😢

regardless if the spoon helps, the eggs in this video are not 2-3 days old. those are over one week probably much older. See how huge portion fall off the egg, just like a store bought egg.

Do you keep eggs in the fridge before you peel them or would that maybe not be good for the way you do it. I think I need to leave my eggs boiling more and cooling more because I can't get the white to come off with the shell and like I mentioned in my last comment that white part is very tough to work with. Looks like you have a ice maker I wish I had one but I do have very cold water. Thanks and since I have a lot of eggs maybe I'll go practice somewhere haha

I have done Chickens for years and this is the first bunch that have had really tough white membrane directly underneath the shell. Even hard to chew. Have you ever come across that or know what it is?

Another full proof method is getting an egg steamer from Walmart or someplace. There's a small puncture tool for the top of the egg and it steams them perfectly. We discovered this by accident when my son bought this for my husband's birthday. Problem solved!

2-3 day old eggs? I was hoping this would be like day old eggs because I have wayyyyyy tooo many chickens and I need to figure out a way to peel those suckers. Fresh eggs are so hard. LOL! BUT, I'm going to try the spoon method even though mine are day old eggies. LOL! Thank you so much for the tip! ❤

Even 3 day old farm eggs are fresh compared to what most of us get at the grocery!
