To be real, Starfield is soooo unoptimized. I have a 7800xt, too. I got the sapphire reference model that thing is sooo powerful. It's crazy that starfield looks awful and runs like baloney.
I currently have the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G paired with the RX 7600xt and I’m looking to upgrade to the 7800xt. Would I need to upgrade my cpu I would appreciate a second opinion
I tested it on a b550 board with PCIe 4.0 and there wasn’t a difference in fps. PCIe 3.0 is more than enough for that GPU. I was thinking of making a video about it.
After some more testing, the 5600x will bottleneck the 7800xt, but there have been a lot of people in the comments saying that the 7800xt and their 5600x have been an awesome pair. Right now theres a 40 dollar price difference on pcpartpicker between the cheapest 7700xt and the cheapest 7800xt. I would definitely spend the extra 40 bucks for the 7800xt
Finally found a gtav 1440p benchmark, cheers dude, nice video! 😊
Yeah no problem dude! 👍🏼 and thanks!
Just bought this card. Super happy with it!
Is it loud?
@@vespa021 I don't hear it at all actually. I can hear my case fans a little so maybe they're masking it. I'll pay more attention and let you know!
Nice video, underrated
Appreciate it!
Excited to upgrade to this CPU and GPU combo coming from a 5600g and rx6600 on 1080p

Dang that’s crazy! What CPU you have it paired with?
I don’t think that 11GB vram is real, it just loads in textures you don’t use.
lovely video but, what about the vram in redy daddy 2 ? could you figure out why the 7800 uses 11gb while the 7700 only uses 5.4 gb ?
Bought it to replace my aged GTX970. Couldn't be happier with my choice.
I know the 7800xt is recommended at 700W I have a damn near identical build but I have a EVGA 650W gold 80+ I don't plan on overclocking.
Won't have any problems. I'm using XFX 7800 xt merc with Superflower Leadex III 650W GOLD
650w gold 80+ working in overclock found 2800 GHz in undervolt.
Have you made a ventilation curve? Do you have the qick model? How many degrees did you hotspot?
6950xt competing with the 7800xt 👍
Anything is better than my 30 fps switch that can dip down to 10 in Fortnite some times
thanks for very detail video which is better to buy merc or quick?
merc is their high end whilst quick is mid range. Both are good though

How did yoy manage the GPU Sag?
3:10 I used an open box of condoms, no joke

You lose 4% being pcie3 and you need OC of the cpu to not lose more
Upgrade to 5800x3d.
My gta5 run on high setting only it just get 45 to 50 fps why 😢
what CPU and GPU do you have?
Why are you handicapping your performance with a b450 motherboard that only supports up to PICE 3.0?
I tested it on a b550 board with PCIe 4.0 and there wasn’t a difference in fps. PCIe 3.0 is more than enough for that GPU. I was thinking of making a video about it.
do you think it will fit a matx case?
I have the lian li a3 matx case and it fits you have to check how big of a gpu your case allows bc it varies from case to case
so what i need to buy, 7800 xt or 7700 xt to pair with my r5 5600 x?

i have similar cpu i5 12400f with 7800xt little to no bottleneck in 2k resolution so buy 7800xt
Play on 2k to minimize bottleneck
How is coil whine at Thai Model?
Can it run 4k??
Hey! Are you on glue?
Why not get the 7800x3D
That’s a whole different chipset/motherboard
5800x3d is already more than enough for any game. Im thinking of getting 7000 series though. Might hold off for the 8000 series.
The board doesn't even have PCIe 4.0 !!! So the test is not conclusive 🫣
Have you tested the differences between PCIe 3.0 and 4.0? Its maybe 1-2% on high end cards, And Im talking about GPU's like the 4080 and 4090.
You can't say 2%...it depends on the game. I've seen tests where there was a 25% difference...but 2% is definitely not right. but okay😉
Gamers nexus did a video on it. He also said the same thing.@@MatzVR46
are you talking about gpu performance or ssd performance?@@MatzVR46
