Katie, you really have a gift . You’re the perfect YT presenter-knowledgable, likable, concise but giving exactly the right amount of details. Thank you. I’ve learned so much. Thrilled to see your subscriber base grow. You totally deserve it!
I love to watch how your skill and expertise transform a piece from hopeful and full of promise, to completely elegant and perfectly stated. This makeover version is multi-functional and inspired. It's funny to me that furniture of old, was structurally sound, nicely shaped, but hidden under heavy, lifeless (opaque) colors. Another gorgeous upcycle!
Well Katie Scott you’ve done it again! You have an 🦅 Eagles Eye when transforming a piece of furniture! It turned out beautiful! Thanks for sharing your technique with us all. I always enjoy watching your talent at work. 🥰
In today's episode of "Trust the Process," I wasn't sure about the dark color for the "veins" of your faux marble finish. I'm a big girl, and I can admit when I'm wrong. That "marble" top came out great! Once again, I am impressed by your creativity! That little chest looks fantastic!!! Cheers from Virginia, USA 😊
Best demonstration of marbling technique I've ever seen. I think I might be able to do this. Thanks for your excellent description and demonstration. You are the best and my go to flipping site .❤❤😊😊
@@elizabethfryar6570 Cleaning then sanding the drawers refreshes them, it makes them look nicer and newer, and can help get rid of any old gross stains or discoloration, minor smells, etc. A lot of folks seal the inner part of the drawer with a sealant or clothing/people safe finishing wax, or pretty liners.
Oh Katie you had me holding my breath when you first started the marbling technique but wow did it turn out great. The way you kept working it was great. Love it.
I think this may be one of my favorites of yours. I love what simple changes you made, yet it has a completely different look now. And what a fun design with the faux marble on top. It’s lovely!😍👏
I love that you always remind us to trust the process because I questioned the marble technique until the piece was totally finished. It turned out beautiful and the knobs completed the look!
I almost skipped through the marbling part of this video. Basically because I don't like marble or faux marble. But I'm really glad I watched this. It was really interesting to watch it come together. Blows my mind. LOL. It looks really good. I dont think I'd attempt it. But still really fun to watch.
If I can faux paint that is my favorite thing to do! Fantastic job on the Faux Mable.. The Wagner did a great job.🎉 That was one beat up old dresser. It turned out so beautiful! 💖💖💖💖
What a great makeover. Watching you sorting out bit of furniture gave me the kick start to give my large chest of drawers a little loving care. Took everything out vacuumed and washed it, sooo embarrassed at how dirty it was. Fixed two broken draw stops, beeswaxed it all and five hours later it’s like new again, draws all sliding nicely. ❤
Nice job Katie! I have done marbling before and it is fun and kind of scary in the process. You are right that the best way to approach it is to be relaxed and casual about it and that is when it turns out the best! I loved the soft color you chose. Very classic!
Katie, once again you have amazed me! You’re right, though, about it being scary. I just don’t believe I could do that veining, but it sure was fun watching you do it. Oh! Those little squatty legs, they’re so cute. Love this little piece, girl. Thanks
That is beautiful❤ I laughed when you were clamping the drawer because that's 100% me...why use 3 when you can use 5.. one thing for sure I know how to use a clamp.😂
Soo sooo glad you got rid of the mid century modern legs and all the rusty, dusty, crusties!! I lived through my parent’s original mid century furniture and never liked it then!! The finished result was just so cute and I love it!! 🥰
This came out awesome. The marble technique is really cool. I may try it now. You explained it so well, giving me the confidence to try. Like you said, "It's only paint!" I love the new legs too! Till next time! Thank you
Every artist is different and each one has their own brand. But I appreciate that you stayed in the simple, modern, kind of tutorial videos. I am tired of follow many artists that only show blending, applications and transfers just to sell products that make others poor while companies get richer. Keep the good work and thank you.
Love your work ethic. I wish I owned a home so I could do some furniture saving, too! I fear my landlady might kick me out if I started sanding wood and spraying paint! I particularly like what you did with this piece. Thank you for sharing.
Great job! It really looks beautiful and it was definitely an ugly duckling piece. I’d be interested to know how much you list it for and what it sells for.
Hi. I loved what you did with this little chest of drawers! You have inspired me to be even more adventurous working on old pieces of furniture. I think ive seen all your videos and really like what you do to bring new life into these old items. Ive done 3 pieces so far...but will continue. Have to do something useful and creative in my retirement years right? Too bad you're so far away! Looking forward to seeing your next work of art. Greetings from Edmonton Alberta 😃👋🇨🇦

I agree wholeheartedly. Very likable and informative. Videos are well paced and fun!
You're right - that marbling technique was terrifying to watch at first! It turned out beautifully, though. Gorgeous piece!
Little chest: "I've been rescued! ... I'm at a Spa!! ... I have new legs and a marble top!!!" 💖💕🇨🇦
100% improvement on the original! I really like how the knobs balance the cool tone of the body with the warm marble top.

Trash to treasure. Your design style always amazes me.

That marbling came out waaaay better than I thought when you started. Excellent work.
Katie you are the real Artist and again…a trash to treasure 👏👏👏
Best demonstration of marbling technique I've ever seen. I think I might be able to do this. Thanks for your excellent description and demonstration. You are the best and my go to flipping site .❤❤😊😊
I absolutely agree. This is the most authentic looking faux marble paint job I've seen 😍
I bet you'll do a fantastic job! Just be patient and remember, like Katie said: It's just paint!
Can someone tell me why she sanded the drawers, but only painted the outsides of them. I'm new at this, but I love learning. Katie is so talented.

The faux stone look is the perfect example of “trust the process”. You going over the pain with a rag made the marble look SO real. It’s crazy
Debbie Travis would so proud to see this…looks great

Oh man, this color is totally my jam! Love it. Super cutie patootie!!! 🤍🤍🤍👏👏👏🤍🤍🤍
Katie, you're the master and you can do it while wearing white!
Just beautiful!

That looked beautiful and sooo different than what it was at the start.
Very clever, and yes a great example of creating faux marble. Great job
You’re a genius! I love it! Beautiful! I enjoy your videos. Can’t wait to see what you wow us with next.
Thank you, Katie, I so enjoy the smooth jazz background
Very demure, very mindful!! It’s a beautiful piece and I can’t wait to do a marble finish!!
Your comment is not going to age well, but right now it's very funny 🤠 Or should I say, very demure, very mindful!
Beautiful. Great job! I look forward to seeing your videos.
I wasn’t sure about the marbling when you first started, but it looks fantastic! Well done
I like watching people who undo the painting of furniture. It would look better if it was restored to the original made.

When I saw the legs I was surprised, and doubtful, but by now I know you've got a vision and it's gonna be good! And it was!
What an amazing transformation!!! I would love this piece in my house!!!

Another great and easy-to-watch video! Love the leg swap! Good to keep in mind when thrift shopping!
Wow! That piece turned out amazing! Always enjoy your videos.
WOW!!! That looks amazing! So impressed with the marble paint job!!
Wow, what a lovely result! I hope you find a buyer who will really love it. :)
I love this. It looks so rich. The marbling really looks good and the knobs set it off. 😍
Excellent transformation. You never disappoint👏👏👌👌❤❤❤
That looks amazing! I fear mine would not look as good as a child’s project if I tried. You have definite artistic ability!
I am obsessed with this make over! It’s beyond gorgeous! I love the color too, so demure 🥰
Woot woot, a bew video!!!! My favorite cup of Saturday coffee. 😊
The faux marble turned out great. 😀
Amazing! You make everything look 10 times better than it ever was!!!
That is amazing! I was holding my breath after you painted on the first vein, so funny.
This came out awesome. The marble technique is really cool. I may try it now. You explained it so well, giving me the confidence to try. Like you said, "It's only paint!" I love the new legs too! Till next time! Thank you
This turned out ADORABLE my friend!!
The color, knobs, and new feet are absolutely goegoeus. What a perfect peice!
Look forward to your videos. Always inspiring Thank you.
I was biting my nails as you were doing the veining. It is so hard to get that to look natural but you did it ! I love the restyling on this piece.
It’s nice to see a new look! Great job.
I love the new legs. Super cute makeover!
I picked up a small side table from the street yesterday and am thinking back over so many makeovers you have done! Wish me luck on my first try! 🎉
Just WOW. Your marbling technique is easy to replicate, and the outcome looks so natural.
Amazing work! I had my doubts about the marbelling, but you made it beautiful!
GURLLLLL, THAT PIECE REALLY TURNED OUT SUPER SWEET😉!

I am tired of follow many artists that only show blending, applications and transfers just to sell products that make others poor while companies get richer. Keep the good work and thank you.
Very nice. This would be good next to the front door with a basket for keys and a tall candle holder. Great redo.
I liked the original legs! Loved the finished piece ❤
Your marbling was spot on.
These comments just put it better than i could. Thank you for the caln sensible teaching. Gives me guts to do same.
Another great transformation. Love watching your videos, Katie.
Oh so pretty, Katy! Excellent marveling technique, thanks for teaching me! I think I want to try it 😊
I wasn't sure how the top would turn out, but it all came together. You have a good eye, Katie!
Thanks for the demonstration, very helpful. Looks so much better now.
Love your enjoyment of what this tree had hidden within!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Love your work ethic. I wish I owned a home so I could do some furniture saving, too! I fear my landlady might kick me out if I started sanding wood and spraying paint! I particularly like what you did with this piece. Thank you for sharing.
Love your interpretation. ♥️
The faux marble is amazing!
I love the marbling, thank you so much for showing us the proses
This is my absolute favorite piece you have made. It’s something I would love to have in my home
You’re an amazing craftswoman! I’d love to hear how you got started and how you picked up your skills.
Wow! It’s sooo pretty now! May have to give marbling a try! 🥰🥰🥰
You did a fabulous job on this piece, I really like the marble look.
Such a pretty result. Skeletons in a closet? Nope, it's just legs in a storage box! Happy Caturday.
Wow! That turned out great. I was a little worried about the marble veins as you were doing them but the end result was fabulous!
Great job! It really looks beautiful and it was definitely an ugly duckling piece. I’d be interested to know how much you list it for and what it sells for.
I think this was one of the best transformations you’ve done. I just loved it. It’s so pretty
I’d love to see you demonstrate the marbling technique on a dark marble top contrasting with a lighter bottom. Maybe a bit darker paint on the bottom.
Dang, Katie, you can do anything! You make me brave.
Fabulous! Perfect for a bedroom!🌸
Beautiful, Katie you are the real deal❤
awesome! I’ve been looking for just that size chest for so long! Now, if I find it, I’ll know what to do with it!
The top turned out so lovely! I had my doubts at first, but you did not disappoint.
It would be great storage space in a bathroom too!
I love it! You are nothing if not ingenius, Katie! Great job, as always.
That is fantastic you have quite a gift just amazing.

I’ve been planning to do a marble top on a coffee table with gold legs! I think this will be perfect!
The marble finish was gorgeous. I wonder if peel and stick “marble’ wallpaper would be easier 🤔
Absolutely beautiful!!!
I love this Katie! I haven't done any painting in awhile but this is inspiring! Awesome job!
It puts the Anthrpologie piece to shame! Love your version!
Beautiful! Thanks for demonstrating the faux marble top. I'm looking forward to trying that myself.
Dang girl! You are so so creative Katie❤️
