I have a question. Why do you not stain the entire lip of the top of the piece of work? I think it would be gorgeous to see the stain come around the front and side edges and meet the paint at the flat surface of the piece. As always though, this is a gorgeous finished piece!
I love that you did the big reveal at the end so we could be surprised! My jaw literally dropped when I saw it because it is SO majestically beautiful!!! THE COLOR is absolutely gorgeous, and the contour definitely added dimension. But that GOLD TRANSFER pattern took it to a magical place and made it a masterpiece!
