shikimori is so good! i've seen lots of people saying that it's mediocre and typical but something being typical doesn't mean it isn't good! i bought myself lots of manga (mainly new series) for a graduation present to myself and i enjoyed kaiju no 8, black clover and wotakoi the most!

Summertime Rendering anime is really good, looking forward to every episode. I would recommend checking out Go With the Clouds, North-by-Nortwest, a mystery manga series set in Iceland with gorgeous scenery.
All this mention about Summertime Rendering has me super intrigued! I remember coming across the covers a while back. The art looks super amazing inside and the anime looks great as well~ Crossing fingers with the giveaway but even if not, I do want to check it out ☺

Paradise Kiss I personally didn’t enjoy as I found Arashi to be an awful character that treated Miwako horribly (even admitting to r**e) and I thought the other characters were too forgiving of him. But I respect your opinion and acknowledge it’s a much beloved series
A suggestion you may find interesting would be Spice and Wolf. It centers around a traveling merchant who picks up an unusual stowaway on his cart. She is a spirit of the harvest who has wolf ears and a tail, and she can transform into a giant wolf. It has quite a bit to do with trade, but the budding relationship between the two main characters is quite enjoyable. You can get it as a light novel or manga. I started with the light novel, and also got the manga because the artwork is beautiful.
i started reading spy family a few days ago and I AM HOOKED! it’s so cute, i knew the anime was coming out but i haven’t gotten to it, i’ll need to right away!
One manga that I really like (that also has an anime on Netflix, though I haven’t checked it out yet) is Drifting Dragons. It’s a nice little adventure fantasy series, even with a bit of cooking in it. It’s about an airship crew that hunts down dragons in the sky and their little adventures while doing so. There are occasional kinda action scenes but they’re pretty rare and fairly short. I’ve only read the first 3 volumes of the series but the art style is really cute and so far I’d totally recommend the series! Another series I like is the four panel manga, Wonder Cat Kyuu-Chan. This one is the cutest story I’ve ever read, basically just about a guy and his pet cat who he originally found in a box in the snow. I’m always laughing when I read it because Kyuu-Chan (the cat) can be so unpredictable and mischievous. Walking on two legs, making friends with a ghost, getting a job, etc. Trust me and just try it out :]

I love these series from the bottom of my heart! I would like to recommend you one manga, which has been released in my country, Poland, a few weeks ago, which is "Hoshi Mamoru Inu" ("O Psie, który strzegł gwiazd" [PL]) by Takashi Murakami. This is a one volume manga, divided into 4 beautiful stories about loyal, friendly, heroic and cute dogs. Despite many problems, which their owners deal with, like poverty, loneliness, or repudiation, these dogs always stayed true to their owners and tried to help them in many ways. Tissues are mandatory. Not only the story is deeply touching, but also the art style and drawings of these dorable puppers! I believe that we have the same manga taste and You would love this one-shot! I wish a great day to everyone who reached this comment! :)
