THANK YOU! No one talks about Witch hat atelier like it’s definitely my favorite fantasy right now. I might give Daytime shooting star a chance tho. WE NEED A PART 2
I finally find people who like witch hat atelier, her art of drawing is definitely fantastic and the universe she is in is extremely cool along with the doubts that arise throughout history, all about magic, the spells the main problem is too strong and beautiful. and daytime shooting star i'm reading it and i got addicted to manga T.T Excuse me if my English is wrong, it was through a translator hehe. Nice day
I saw the cover one day and I was like "I need to get it", it took me a while since my dad wanted me to keep collecting the other mangas I have, but fortunately I found them with a discount on Amazon and got them. I have absolutely no regrets, I am enjoying the story so far since I'm a fantasy fan! Also the details on the art are soooo nice and smooth!
with these recommendations i’m sure you’d like the manga “blue period”!! it’s a coming of age story about a sort of apathetic student (a delinquent ig) that develops a passion for fine arts and tries to get into the top art school in tokyo (tho its so so much more).
I haven't read Blue Period but the description you gave reminded me of one of my favourite Manhwas of all time. Spirit Fingers. The main character has a difficult home life, her mother makes her feel inferior to her brothers because she isn't doing aswell as them in school and life. Her relationship with her parents consists of them ignoring all of her needs and not being there for her emotionally. Her brothers also don't care for her (though we later get to see the negatives of the parents treatment of them too) making her feel like an outsider in her own home with no space in her own family. One day she stumbles upon a strange art club whose members call themselves the spirit Fingers, they warmly welcome her and help her open up, actually grow as a person and feel comfortable in her own skin. It's over the top ridiculous at times while at other points in the story you'll bawl your eyes out. I swear the Spirit Fingers manhwa was my Encanto. Growing up as an undiagnosed neurodivergent girl constantly being compared to my brother and my cousins in a violent and stiffling household this comic hit me right in the guts especially because I too found my first friendly listening ear in an art club I secretly joined. Crazy I know. I read it for free on webtoon's site some years ago. It should still be there if you want t check it out. The manhwa has physical copies too but those are sadly only available in Korean.
I'm not kidding when I say that Blue Flag changed my life lol. I've been putting off reading it since I couldn't find vol. 3 on stock, but as soon as I got the 8 volumes I got into it and oh boy... It's top notch, I cried so many times oops. Thank you for the recs! I'll definitely check them out.

The manga "I want to eat your pancreas" is an adaptation from the novel so I highly recommand to everyone to read the novel to get a better understanding of the main character's feeling and what he is thinking throughout the story.
should i read the novel or the manga first because i wanna start collecting so i need to like set a budget as manga and books in general are really expensive where i live
@@africkingmess7448 I mean, start with what you want to start with. I started with the movie then the novel but if you want to read the manga, go ahead. The novel adds to the story but if you want to start with the manga since it's a quicker and easier read, you can. There's no real answer, the novel is more complete but it's an easy 5 hours read while the manga is a quicker and easier read but misses so stuff. Start with what you want to read.

Sweat and Soap is a fantastic manga! Great representation of a healthy relationship and really great characterization. You grow really close with the characters and the storyline.
I started reading Sweat and Soap after seeing your comment. I'm currently reading the second volume and I really love it! I have been reading shounen for a long time and I was a bit bored. This manga is really refreshing. Thank you so much for recommendation.
Witch Hat Atelier has some of the best artwork I've ever seen in a manga. The author's other work is also really beautiful. Ajin looks really interesting as well.
Finally someone is talking about “I want to eat your pancreas” this manga ESPECIALLY the anime broke my soul. Me and alot of people didn’t expect this ending and made me think about life ALOT. One of the best animes I have ever watched
I just finished Blue Flag and I'm so sooo glad I watched your video, otherwise I would never discover this INCREDIBLE manga, thanxxx I'm going to read all of your recommendations and I'm really looking forward to new videos like this one with specific themes

Yesss finally someone recommending Witch Hat Atelier!! My absolute favorite manga series of all time currently, no joke. I'm suffering waiting for the next volumes since the translations are getting postponed over and over again 😭 currently it's 1 volume per year, if we're lucky. Seeing the artist draw characters I haven't seen yet makes me so hyped for the next volumes, can't waiiit
oh my god THANK YOU for talking about daytime shooting star !! it’s also my fave shoujo of all time so it feels so good to see people enjoying it and showcase it to the world!! it’s a must read in the shoujo game, I love the series to bits
After watching the anime trailer of spy x family, I immediately fell inlove with the series. So i quickly QUICKLYYY ordered like all the volumes available in my language before its sold out >< i did not regret it
OH MY GODS when you started talking about Daytime Shooting Star, I was like "wait a minute" and then remembered it ! I read it and made my little sister read it as well and we have both many screenshots of some pages because it's such a good story and the art is beautiful ! Also Witch Hat Atelier is so good and the art is to die for, these recommendations are well put together, it makes me want to read all of them
I LOVED THIS!! WOULD LOVE TO SEE A PART 2, I'm always looking for new manga and I'm definitely gonna check some of these out this year! Looking forward to more!
This is the perfect video I needed! For the new year, I want to get more into reading manga and I'm soooo glad that this came up in my recommendations ahhh I can't wait to read these :D
I subbed😁 this is one of the first videos that give a good explanation of the manga without overhyping how good it is, I added most of these on my to read list and it’s also nice that some if not most of these are completed series!
I was actually so happy that the ajin anime was 3d animated, even if that style isn't my cup of tea, it sat so well with how ajin was drawn especially with the demi-humans having that black smoke that forms around them and when they fight. Fucking awesome series and yeah highly recommend both the anime and manga
Definitely need a part 2 😍 highly recommend I Want to Eat Your Pancreas too! The heartache made me cry and feel so much that I even watched the movie right after just to experience it all other again. And I’m still trying to pick up some missing volumes in Blue Flag but I need to read more! I tend to read shoujo/romance manga so I have Daytime on my list and super interested in Tomo-Chan since you’ve talked about it a lot XD
I so loved this vid! You explained the series so well, without spoiling anything, you made me buy 3 new Mangas!! The flip throughs were also really appreciated cause i tend to be special when it comes to art style. I hope to see more content like that! Also happy new year (:
Also, I think Uzumaki is a stunning manga that everyone should read. It’s a horror by Junji Ito, the legend himself, with the most stunning panels I have ever seen, the way the seemingly separated chapters flow together at the end is gorgeous, I binged the whole thing in a day. I think there’s 3 volumes? But you can get the deluxe edition which is all of them in one (and is objectively way prettier lol) It’s one of my favourite mangas right now, and I really want to check out his other works
Thank you so much for these recommendations! I have barely read any manga in 2021 so I definetly want to read a lot more of it this year and this is a great place to start
Came here looking for ways on how to make videos about manga and I'm surprised at how good this one is despite being so different from the usual showing panels with dialoge vids. This feels a little be peaceful. Very good work :")
Happy new year!! I would love to see a part two of this video since I think all of your recs are great, I loveddd all the romance recs you gave and I am excited to watch all your new videos in 2022
I love videos like that, thank u so much :) I’ve thought of buying blue flag, because it looks really beautiful, so thanks for the recommendation ! Started to read SpyxFamily in 2021 (up until volume 5) and I absolutely love this series :)
i don't think anyone heard of these mangas but I simply love them noraniko to okami ( around 7 years difference though it's super cute and funny. there's also a lot of struggles but overall amazing ) a sign of affection ( the main character is deaf, super cute and I love her. there's a year or 2 difference between them but the way he cares and loves her got me on my knees. like he loves her more than himself ) kyou mo ashita mo ( there's 7 years difference but listen he falls in love first and she is simply adorable. and what was special about this one is that he realizes that she is younger and tries his best not to do anything wrong to her, he cares about her and really wants her to be happy so the story was absolutely amazing ) hope you enjoy reading them ❣❣
I really like that you talk about the mangas but still don’t give major spoilers! I’m definitely gonna try witch hat atelier (also for beginners I would recommend death note if someone hasn’t read it yet 🖤) also I would like to make a video request- I would realllllyyy like some fantasy or horror manga recommendations 😊
Thank you so much moonlight!! I'm glad witch hat atelier looks enticing to you haha, and ahh I really need to read death note sometime! Thank you also for the video request
Great video! I'm not a slice of life/shoujo consumer ,but you made me want to explore these genre more.Btw I would recommend Oyasumi Punpun/Aku no hana ,they are classic dark psychological series
I’ve been looking for a source of manga in english translation for awhile, so I’m so excited to find your channel! SpyxFamily is one of my favorites as well, and I wish the translations arrived more quickly.
I love this one, Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, I love it, it’s has some romance but it’s more of an adventure book. (Click read more for some VERY TINY spoilers!) Ok so it’s about these 3: Hanako-kun,(Hanako-San) Yashiro Nene, and Minanoto. At the start it turns to be like an each-chapter-is-a-new-adventure chapters, but it gets more serious toward the middle, there is some romance :) it’s amazing, it’s a 16 parter and I think whoever reads it it’s gonna be amazing
I just got into Manga a while ago but since I have began I have been watching a lot of your videos and you are definitely my favorite manga RUclipsr! Thank you for all the work you put into this channel, I really love seeing all these new books I can start reading! Happy New Years!!
i recommend blue exorcist!! it’s my favorite series, the anime adaption is so good but the manga is even better. i don’t wanna spoil anything, but the story gets so good, and it continues after the anime is finished! it is a great series for those who like fighting and drama
i almost screamed when i saw you pull out spy x family!! i recently bought the manga and have been really enjoying it so far! cant wait for the anime in april ❤️❤️❤️ checking out all of the other recs too 🥰
i honestly picked up i want to eat your pancreas because 1) j thought a pancreas was a cake😅😭😭😭 2) the cover looked pretty, so i didn’t really pay attention to the story but i’m so happy i have it because it’s one of my favorites now!!
,,A sign of affaction“ is one of my Favorit Manga All Time (it is a beautiful Romance between a Girl who is death since birth and a Boy who loves to learn new Languages and Culture )
I just wanted to say that I watched this video and got interested about blue flag so I read the first volume and I love it!! I’m really thankful for that because I think this might turn out to be one of my favs
My new fav manga is Silver spoon! Kind of a diff kind of manga about a boy who is burnt out and stressed studying for high school exams and trying to figure out his future so he attends an agricultural high school in the countryside to escape the high stress environment. I’m a city gal so I found it super interesting to learn about agriculture (it wasn’t sugar coated and explained a lot of technical things) but also I could really relate to Hachiken’s stress and low self esteem. Idk if it would be everybody’s cup of tea, but I found it very motivating and I always turn to it when I feel burnt out or in a slump.
I’ve been thinking about picking up “blue flag” since yesterday because it’s not my usual cup of tea, but somehow the plot interests me. Seeing this makes me want to pick it up right away
Hey, just wanted to say this video was so helpful In my Gf and I search for better manga ! You wouldn’t believe how many main stream Yt just post such basic, and normal to the public recommendations! But yours were actually well thought out and gave us such better options and even some we haven’t heard of before! So thank you and from both of us we hope for a part 2 soon
I'm so glad you included Ajin, so many people tend to overlook this series because of the lacklustre anime adaptation but trust me the manga is so much better and totally worth reading.
I highly recommend the Tiger & Bunny manga. The anime itself is getting a new season this year after a decade of waiting (literally) but the manga is an entirely different story. Its artstyle is incredible and anyone a fan of shonen hero anime like MHA would greatly enjoy this franchise, as it tackles real problems never really thought up in hero stories. It also touches on important topics in the movie, such as homophobia and transphobia. overall, the entire series is very underrated and deserves some love before its comeback!
For Blue Flag, I think it's strong point is real-feeling dialogue. Blue Flag doesn't suffer from that problem of the characters having misunderstandings and not talking about it. They talk about things. Sometimes those things are pretty heavy/serious, but none of the characters ever sound too wise for their age, they sound like genuine high schoolers with their own unique situations. A lot of people don't like the ending, but I honestly love it.
love your pfp also yeah I wish the last chapter had its own volume because it felt so rushed and it didn't really tie up every loose end/touch on how certain characters got together/got back together/broke up, which was a little.... disappointing? either way I still adored it.
Great video. I added Blue Flag and Daytime Shooting Star to my list of books to read after you recommendations! Witch Hat Atelier is probably my favorite book of 2021 so glad to see someone else enjoy it also. Have you checked out Boys Run the Riot? Fantastic series and is ending with volume 4. Seems like something you would enjoy.
Great video 💕 you've got a new subscriber! I absolutely love blue flag and I want to eat your pancreas ❤️ and I'm definitely going to read all the others on your list this year

Wow this video was really good. I will definitely be checking all of these out. I'm currently reading Ajin and I'm waiting for my copies of Spy x Family. I've heard about eat your pancreas and tomo chan is a girl but i didn't know what they were about.
This is a very good recommendation, thank you! I also recommend reading jujutsu kaisen, It has a very good story and I would definetly read volume 0 if you haven't watched movie 0 that just came out because they still don't release the movie in the United States.

Great video! I'm not a slice of life/shoujo consumer ,but you made me want to explore these genre more.Btw I would recommend Oyasumi Punpun/Aku no hana ,they are classic dark psychological series
Daytime Shooting Star also has one of the sweetest friendships develop between the protagonist and her classmates.
You have immaculate taste in mangas
I’m currently reading the kamisama kiss, black butler, and sailor moon manga, they are also some of my favorite anime 😊
I’ve been looking for a source of manga in english translation for awhile, so I’m so excited to find your channel! SpyxFamily is one of my favorites as well, and I wish the translations arrived more quickly.
So excited to have you! I also love Spy x Family as well, can't wait for Season 2 of the anime :)
I was also very hesitant with reading Daytime shooting star but when I read it I started getting into it and now its one of mu favourite shojo mangas
Great list! I'm actually really interested in reading Witch Hat Atelier now.

I LOVED ALL of your recommendations! Gained a sub
thank you SO SO MUCH !!!
I loved every minute of this video!! Thank you for these awesome recos! I can’t wait read these manga 😍
I love this one, Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, I love it, it’s has some romance but it’s more of an adventure book. (Click read more for some VERY TINY spoilers!)
Ok so it’s about these 3: Hanako-kun,(Hanako-San) Yashiro Nene, and Minanoto. At the start it turns to be like an each-chapter-is-a-new-adventure chapters, but it gets more serious toward the middle, there is some romance :) it’s amazing, it’s a 16 parter and I think whoever reads it it’s gonna be amazing
thank you I haven’t read most of these so I’ll definitely put them on my to read list!
so happy I could help out with your reading list!! hope you enjoy some of them :))
Really love the video thank you and happy new year!!

it’s my favorite series, the anime adaption is so good but the manga is even better. i don’t wanna spoil anything, but the story gets so good, and it continues after the anime is finished!

,,A sign of affaction“ is one of my Favorit Manga All Time (it is a beautiful Romance

I just wanted to say that I watched this video and got interested about blue flag so I read the first volume and I love it!! I’m really thankful for that because I think this might turn out to be one of my favs
Happy new year :) ! I loved all of the recommendations, I definitely need to read grand blue!!
happy new year!! i can't wait for you to experience grand blue!
I will read those :D
Omg I bought blue flag a couple months ago and it's so so good. I found it randomly at a bookstore and the story kept me hooked
Spy family ayo yo list is solid 🤟🏾
My new fav manga is Silver spoon! Kind of a diff kind of manga about a boy who is burnt out and stressed studying for high school exams and trying to figure out his future so he attends an agricultural high school in the countryside to escape the high stress environment. I’m a city gal so I found it super interesting to learn about agriculture (it wasn’t sugar coated and explained a lot of technical things) but also I could really relate to Hachiken’s stress and low self esteem. Idk if it would be everybody’s cup of tea, but I found it very motivating and I always turn to it when I feel burnt out or in a slump.
I WAS JUST ABT TO COMMENT WITCH HAT ATELIER ✨✨✨✨ nice
ty for the recs !!
LETS GET IT AJIN BEST ANIME NO CAP
I highly recommend the Tiger & Bunny manga. The anime itself is getting a new season this year after a decade of waiting (literally) but the manga is an entirely different story. Its artstyle is incredible and anyone a fan of shonen hero anime like MHA would greatly enjoy this franchise, as it tackles real problems never really thought up in hero stories. It also touches on important topics in the movie, such as homophobia and transphobia.
overall, the entire series is very underrated and deserves some love before its comeback!
Yes everyone please read Spy X Family it is sooooo good
thanks you ;) your video is so amazing :) happy new year to you
Waiting for other recommendations) Thanks for content
For Blue Flag, I think it's strong point is real-feeling dialogue. Blue Flag doesn't suffer from that problem of the characters having misunderstandings and not talking about it. They talk about things. Sometimes those things are pretty heavy/serious, but none of the characters ever sound too wise for their age, they sound like genuine high schoolers with their own unique situations. A lot of people don't like the ending, but I honestly love it.
road to 100k subs! i believe in you!
thank you so much for your support T-T means a lot!!
Thank you so much! Glad I got to watch this video before checking out. Also I'll be buying Blue flag and Spy x Family 🥰
i dont just want part 2, i want these series to run till all the manga in the world are over
i loved blue flag but the last chapter could've easily been an entire volume long lmao
love your pfp also yeah I wish the last chapter had its own volume because it felt so rushed and it didn't really tie up every loose end/touch on how certain characters got together/got back together/broke up, which was a little.... disappointing? either way I still adored it.
@@SputnikSweethearrt yeah that chapter being more would've been the cherry on top tbh
I love Shishio Satsuki 💖🥺
Daytime shooting Star is one of my favourites Shoujo manga 💞
Great video. I added Blue Flag and Daytime Shooting Star to my list of books to read after you recommendations! Witch Hat Atelier is probably my favorite book of 2021 so glad to see someone else enjoy it also. Have you checked out Boys Run the Riot? Fantastic series and is ending with volume 4. Seems like something you would enjoy.

Great video 💕 you've got a new subscriber! I absolutely love blue flag and I want to eat your pancreas ❤️ and I'm definitely going to read all the others on your list this year
I Want to Eat Your Pancreas absolutely destroyed me. The ending was so upsetting. A beautiful, heartbreaking story.
i bought "i want to eat your pancreas" because my aunt died of a similar decease and sakura also reminded me of my aunt. this book/manga is something very special to me
Wow this video was really good.
