4 years ago I was in your shoes. I haven’t bought any since 2018 and I have 2 full bottles remaining that I hope to finish by end of 2023. A few tips : you probably know these but just in case, I’ll share. 1.I focused on my favorites first because I knew I’d want to wear them often and use them quickly. 2. Also when it’s winter my foundations thicken up and in warmer months they are more runny so my usage varies between 1-3 pumps. On average I use 145 pumps of a 1oz bottle. 3. It takes me 3.5-4 months to finish 1 bottle of foundation. I hope you’re able to do the math for yourself and get an idea with how long it will take you to tackle all those bottles. 5. You can get through them. Don’t ignore your goal to finish them (even if there’s a 50% off sale on other foundations you’ve been wanting to try). 6. keep the foundations you’re not using in your fridge. Otherwise the heat from warm weather months or when your heater is on during cooler months will make them expire and separate faster. 7. Rooting for your success from afar. You’re not alone!
@@zaria5785 that is the kind of tracking I need to add in. I just tend to use my makeup but I need to start tracking as I focus on getting things used up before I ever try and buy that same product again.
I love this series! I came to realize, after buying far too many of them, that I don't even like foundation. I like a blurring primer with some well blended concealer, or a tinted moisturizer or BB cream for special occasions, but every foundation I have ever tried made me feel over made up. Of course, trying to use up the base products now that I know I don't like them is hard - why would I reach for something when I don't like how it looks? I basically use them up when I am going to be on camera or onstage, because the camera and the stage lights soften that look of too much makeup, so I don't feel as self conscious.
I think the differences between peoples collections are hilarious in terms of our preferences. I’ve only had one foundation over the past several years (missa bb cream, I have great skin and skip it sometimes anyway), but I have 15+ bronzers and 50+ blushes 😅
I was watching your last video about staying mindful about buying things because they are on sale for Black Friday, my husband was listening. Then I was watching someone's Amazon favorites and he looked at me and said remember what the other girl said 😂
I mixed a too- dark foundation with a too-glittery Highlighter to get a quite lovely Décolleté and collarbone Liquid Highlighter for summer. This worked very well!
I love mixing up products! I made my own perfect color corrector for olive skin, perfect blush shades, foundations that always match my undertone and level of tan…makes me feel like a witch making potions haha 😆
I have used too-matte foundations as eye primers. Some ingredients may not be good so close to the eye so watch that, but i have not had any issues with the ones i have used. Thank you for the video! 👍🧡👍🧡
The option to mix foundation with a bold lipstick is phenomenal! I recently have stopped wearing any kind of coverage, but still like to put liquid blush. Also, I ventured to put foundation on my lashes to create an effect of bleached lashes, and it looked not bad. 😄
Foundation and moisturizer can make good body makeup! I have a lot of spider veins and varicose veins on my legs and sometimes I spot conceal with foundation and lotion/sunscreen.
I love all of these tips, som I KNEW & some are NEW 😉 the lipstick trick is brilliant for the lips & the cheek (it looks nude-y flush for the fall), I love your makeup paired with your top 💕 💞

I have about four IT Cosmetics CC creams in my stash in an absolutely ridiculous super size tube that I honestly don't remember purchasing. lol 😂 The worst is that the shade is way too neutral. I can't tell you how handy this video is. Thank you! 😍
This makes me feel makeup can be fun , because maybe it's just me but makeup can be boring as of lately. I might use a darker foundation that has a pinkish orangey tone as a color corrector under my eyes 🤌😅
I think it's Wayne goss who says its a good idea to get a full coverage foundation because you can always sheer it out if you want something lighter so it's more versatile.. I don't think that's practical for everyday makeup when you're rushing to get your day started but it's still a good idea

Im almost all out of contour powder so I might see what I can come up with by mixing my too dark foundations with a cool toned brown eyeshadow and see what I can come up with or even try my too dark foundations on their own as a contour. - Thats my biggest problem area right now, too many too dark foundations and Ive run out of my foundation lightening drops but I might get creative and make some contour and blush shades with them instead 🙂💝
Sort of in the realm of mixing foundation with lipstick to create a lighter shade, I'll dab a very sheer amount of concealer or foundation on the center of my lips before putting on lipstick to give a bit of contour to the lips.
I had family photos done in October and used foundation to cover bruising on my legs, because who wears stockings anymore? I’m regularly adjusting bb creams with concealer to get the right shade too.

Yes!! I feel this - it makes me feel too made up if I have foundation on and I never feel like it sits well on my skin up close

My favourite under eye concealer has been out of stock so I have been mixing a liquid blush with foundation to make a corrector 😂
