I recently used up two face creams by just putting them on my feet. My feet had never been so smooth, and I used them both up in a month lol. And I started trying the acne putty primer from elf but it made my breakouts on my chin woRSE, but it's doing a great job of helping calm body breakouts. Best tip is if stuff doesn't work on your face, just try it anywhere else lol.
For real! 😂❤️ I almost did that the other day with something that was found..which I inspected and saw it expired in 1999 🤦🏻♀️ I don't trust anything from my boyfriend's family lol
I had never heard about using your brow pencil as a lipliner, but it looked great 🙂 Can I please get a clap from everyone, cause since mid December I've completely panned 3 different foundations 😀🙈💪 The product was Estée Lauder powder foundation, Gosh CC Cream and Revolution Foundation Stick 🙂 And I expect to get one more done within the next couple of weeks (that is if I'll soon get over corona 🤞)
These are amazing ideas! I've recently been using clear brow gels that don't work too well on my brows to set down curly baby hairs that frame my face that would otherwise fly everywhere. I'm still testing it out but so far it seems to work! Anything to use it up and recycle rather than throw into a landfill.
I go through lip balms pretty quickly because I often use them on my hands and nails. It's a great way to use up ones that have been opened for too long, or perhaps are not as effective on the lips.
You can use eyeshadow or eyebrow powder to fill in an uneven hairline. I was Rapunzel for Halloween a few years ago, and I did faux freckles with a cream bronzer and a tiny brush.
For my thinning hair i used eyeshadow at first but now i mostly use thick eyeliners or black lipstick then powdering it with cornstarch. I am making a video on it.
I learned about the loose powder as a dry shampoo method probably a few months ago, and I took it a step further. lol. My roots are darker than yours so every dry shampoo would leave a cast. So I started crushing up my powder bronzers and darker brown eyeshadows and mixing small amounts with the loose OR pressed powder. Yes its more work, but I love the result so much more plus I can get away with two more days without washing my hair. It takes time to figure out the ratio but starting small amounts especially with eyeshadows is always the best.
I love products I can use in multiple ways. I like the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as a base to create colorful mascara. First you need to apply regular mascara (I recommend a heavier coat than what you'd usually do), then coat your lashes with the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk (either blink into it or use a spoon to avoid transfer to your eye look), then pick up any eyeshadow on your finger and apply that to the lashes. This technique creates a lot of fallout tho'. I actually did the opposite with shampoo and bodywash, I use a creamy/moisturizering bodywash as shampoo, because it cleans just as well, but it's more gentle.
I've done the shampoo as body wash too! I got a shampoo bar to try to cut out plastic shampoo bottles, but I wasn't a fan of it in my hair, so I just used it as a regular bar soap for my body
I'm the person with really fair skin and black eyebrows 😂 But I love these repurposing videos! I always use different skincare creams all over my body haha. I use extra shampoo as a brush cleaner whenever my conditioner runs out before the shampoo. Definitely using my pencil eyeliners as eyeshadow bases now, it's so simple but I never thought about it before!
I'm using up unloved lipbalms as footmasks for overnight treatments. I mix unloved highlighters or eyeshadows in my bodyoils to mix it in with my bodylotions.... it gives a nice shimmery look, without buying expensive bodyoils... perfect for summertime. Greetings from Germany 🤗
Some really great tips! I have a couple jars of loose powder that I got because they were BOGO, but they're just too matte on my dry face, plus a tad yellowy. And I'm nearly out of dry shampoo, so what a great time to try that one out! A green liner with a golden shadow on top sounds like it will be really pretty and dimensional. Definitely on my to try list!
These are great ideas! Last year I accidentally bought three shampoos because I thought they were conditioners and then I couldn’t return them so i have a bunch of shampoo I need to use up. And I have a giant jar of that wet and wild loose powder and lately I’ve been preferring pressed powder and I just ran out of dry shampoo so that sounds like a great idea
What a great idea omg I have a powder that i don’t like but I don’t want to decluttering it. I will using it as a dry shampoo thank you so so much ❤️I’m always looking forward for your videos since I’m watching your videos I always looking what to buy what not buy to check everything what I have and I saved so much money. Thank you ☺️
I love your tip about using up powder as dry shampoo, I have a powder that goes on a bit clumpy so I can’t wait to try it in the hair instead. Great video 💜
I use hairgel that I dont like to set my eyebrows. Ran out of browgel so now I apply a dark shadow and hairgel on my brows. Been doing this for more than a year and the hairgel doesnt even have a dent in it.
I always use brow pens to draw my beautymarks back on after foundation! I used to buy the Freck frecklepen but I recently got the Nabla one and it's really good too!
I regularly use extra shampoo as my brush cleaners. Also I finished a Becca foundation in jan.working on a Mac and Maybelline by mixing them for the perfect color.i almost finished a liquid blush the dr perricone MD by using it in the morning. I use some hydrating lipstick in the morning as well.finished a Bobby brown completely.using up two more now.i have 90 lipsticks in my collection and want to rotate threw them all
Hi Sarah.. Great tips.. Ones I will definitely use..I have used powder e6yeshadows on my lips..(learned that from my 10yr old granddaughter🙂)Especially when I don't have a certain lip color.. Works great. Thanks for the tips..💜
Also cant wait to try the mascara as liner! I rarely use liquid liner or gel liner so i dont wanna have to keep repurchasing one every year just to only use it a handful of times
Great ideas! I think some mascaras could work as brow gel but it would have to dry down very well because I tried it yesterday & the mascara formula was just too thick. Love the idea of using eyeliner as an eyeshadow base. Also gonna try the mascara as eyeliner.
Wow! In the intro I was thinking your lip combo looked amazing, who would have known it was a brow product 😁 the blush and eye look looks so pretty as well, definitely gatta try the eye look with a lip liner that I don’t like on my lips!!
These were such great tips! I had never thought about using setting powder as dry shampoo. I have a setting powder that is supposedly translucent but it's just way too yellow for my skin so I'm definitely going to give it a try. Also love the faux freckles, I think this could be a great way to use a brow product that's a tad too light or too dark to work for me. My face is covered in freckles from when I was a kid, but they have faded a lot now that I'm more sun smart, and with foundation on they pretty much disappear. I don't have a freckle pen and I'm on a replacement only no buy so I can't purchase one, but I could definitely try using a brow pencil for it.
As a last ditch before throwing anything out, if you know any avid fishers, they can use our old makeup and glitters to repaint their favourite lures before sealing them with a water safe clearcoat. Old costume jewelry can be dismantled to reuse the hardware, too.
Some wonderful tips. I already know a couple I'm going to try but just to add to face cleansers, you can use them as makeup brush cleaners - or at least I have before.
Yes, I've used face cleanser to wash my hands. There's a foaming face wash that smells good but I don't like how it makes my face feel. So, I'm thinking of using it 3 ways. 1) Shaving cream. 2) Body Wash. 3) Putting it in a liquid foaming hand soap bottle dispenser to get extra foamy hand soap. The benefits of using face wash and moisturizers on your hands is that they are gentler and packed with skin benefits that will help your hands to be hydrated and younger looking.
Sarah! I watched this video last night and tried the trick with the translucent powder as dry shampoo this morning. It worked so well! I don’t like this powder - I have dry skin and I find that it emphasizes the dryness - so I’m totally repurposing it for dry shampoo. Thank you for the tip!
I know L’Oréal isn’t cruelty free but they have a root touch up spray people are using for fo-freckles. Now if you know of a cruelty free option for root touch up powder or spray; that might be a faster way to get go-freckles too :)
I can definitely see the pink in the pan of the "brow" powder, it's a pinky taupe. I would have never though of using loose powder as dry shampoo though, interesting ! Even if I'm never going to do that, I don't need it.
I recently purchased an eye primer base pen from LA Girl. Love LA Girl, but it's horrible and causes my eye shadow to crease. I figured I would keep it and use it as an eye shadow or lip line clean-up pen and spot concealer!
I have a huge 10 pan highlighter palette but it looks more like bronzing, dark colours, only skimmery. I dont know why I bought this and now I dont know how to use this. Any ideas?
I don't use liner, I always use my mascara as liner 😂 and I always use eyeshadow for me brows and as face products and as a lip product sometimes to change the color of my lipsticks 😅

I did this, too, with my face cream that didn’t work on my face. It did work great, and I finished it.
For real! 😂❤️ I almost did that the other day with something that was found..which I inspected and saw it expired in 1999 🤦🏻♀️ I don't trust anything from my boyfriend's family lol

Omg I'm jealous 🥳😍 I'm trying my best to finish my oldest foundation but it seems never ending 😅
Wow that is amazing!! Congrats 🥳
Heck yes! 👏👏👏❤️ I grew up around the Chola culture, so yep, lots of brown eyeliner as lip liner and no lipstick is a cultural norm!
These are amazing ideas! I've recently been using clear brow gels that don't work too well on my brows to set down curly baby hairs that frame my face that would otherwise fly everywhere. ooh love that idea!!
I go through lip balms pretty quickly because I often use them on my hands and nails. It's a great way to use up ones that have been opened for too long, or perhaps are not as effective on the lips.
I’ve used face powder as anti chafing powder in a pinch lol. :)
Love all these ideas! It’s so much better to try using products in different ways than to just leave them sitting around in my collection!

I use quite a few of these tips already, but I always seem to forget about the liner as an eyeshadow base trick. I really need to do that!

I always do that and I works perfectly! Never bought an eyeliner in my life 😂
Setting powder--> dry shampoo--> GENIUS
Great ideas! I think some mascaras could work as brow gel but it would have to dry down very well because I tried it yesterday & the mascara formula was just too thick. Love the idea of using eyeliner as an eyeshadow base. Also gonna try the mascara as eyeliner.
I've used a brown mascara that was drying up and not working well as a mascara, so I used it as a browscara.
I've found that shampoo bars make the best brush cleaner! Really any shampoo I don't care for I use for cleaning my brushes and sponges.
Wow! In the intro I was thinking your lip combo looked amazing, who would have known it was a brow product 😁 the blush and eye look looks so pretty as well, definitely gatta try the eye look with a lip liner that I don’t like on my lips!!
I love the creativity of your repurposed ways!
I use a very light pale lipstick as a corrector for the under eyes. A lot of people also use reds and orange as a corrector based on skin tone.
that's a great tip!!

i use the elf luminous putty primer as cream highlighter instead of primer
You can use face cleansers to wash makeup brushes too.
Yes!!
OMG i cant wait to try the loose powder as dry shampoo technique!
Yay!!! Let me know how it goes!

I've mixed liquid highlighter that was too dark or too glittery into lotion before and it was amazing
What if we tried bronzers into body lotions to give us a sunless tan? 🙂🤔

ahh i'm so glad it worked well for you!!!
Yes! I use powders as a dry shampoo too, works great
I love seeing your face pop up in my notifications! I'm excited to hear your advice and knowledge! ☺️
Aww thank you so much!!!🥰
@Sarah Rose you're so welcome, thank you for always inspiring ❤
Thank you for the good tips

Thank you Kristine!!
Loved this!!
I love these kinds of videos!

Try as eyeshadows, or crush them up and mix with body lotion!
I never thought to use mascara as eyeliner! If it's the right texture, brow pomades can be used as eyeliner too
I don't use liner, I always use my mascara as liner 😂 and I always use eyeshadow for me brows and as face products and as a lip product sometimes to change the color of my lipsticks 😅
Brilliant video! 😀
thanks, so glad you enjoyed!
What are your favorite cream blush that are best applied with your finger? Thanks! Love your videos!
The Undone lip to cheek palettes are probably my favorite!!
These are so good!
So glad you enjoyed!
Loved the tips💕
May I ask what shade of elf camo concealer did ou use???
Light ivory :)
@@SarahRoseBeauty thanks a lot 🥰🥰😘😘
First today! Wow! Hope you had a great weekend!
Yay thank you so much!! You too!❤️
If my hair don‘t tolerate a shampoo and/or conditioner I repurpose them as laundry detergent and softener.
I couldn't helpt but notice ur eyebrow. Did u shave it accidentally?
No!
