I'm so rushed in the morning that I really do enjoy doing the exact same look everyday! It's easy fast and I typically can hit pan in eyeshadow after 1.5-2 months of strict usage!
I feel like the biggest lesson I’ve had to learn is do not neglect the rest of your collection during a project! I was so bad at this until recently. I have missed my other products. I feel like I might make less progress per month now but I am ok with it because I’m getting use out of my entire collection and not just a handful of products.
Also, my tip for project panning/finishing products in general is I keep a running list of everything I have finished (I don’t make videos so it’s my way to document it for myself) and at the end of the month I tally how much makeup I finished and how much other stuff for the month and yearly
I joined the FB group PANtastic Ladies & they do a variety of panning projects. I’m doing three of them right now & it’s helped me to make sure I’m using my entire collection while also panning certain products within my collection.
Good tips. I'm pretty new to panning and I think I am gonna start incorporate tallying. I guess I didn't want to do it at first because I don't want makeup to feel like a chore. But I think doing it with lipsticks & making goals would be good because I love my lipsticks but I don't use them enough. My collection is quite small too so it's not too overwhelming for me.
Same!! I used to not use up powders all the way and just called them done when there was a tiny ring around the edges. But it's much more satisfying to use the allll the way up.
Great tips👍 Beautiful lip combo❤ I don't consider myself project panner , but I want my makeup to be used. I made a chart of all my lip products and every time I use smth I make a mark in the chart. In the end of the year I'll count all marks and see which lipsticks/lipglosses are my favourites indeed. The funny thing is that I consider a lipstick my favourite, but use another one four times more often than favourite. The key is to keep track of what you use daily.
Just came across this video and really great tips and I'm sure these will help me in this year (2020). I'm actually doing a year-long Project Pan and I'm also on a no-spend year and I figured doing it this way will keep me from spending money on shit that I really don't need! I'm doing makeup, face and body products and I already took photos and keep track of them all. I really hope this year will be better than last year, which I failed miserably!
I stole from Too Much Tash and track the uses for all my makeup products now. It has increased my makeup satisfaction ten fold! I just love seeing what my favourites are.
I feel like making smaller goals is a good idea for me because I only do my year long project and towards the end of the year I'll realize I didn't make consistent progress on a certain product and then its harder to pan.
I’m not fully project panner but I try to focus on 1-2 products per category which are appropriate for the certain season and rotate another one. Also I’ve defined some specific items and set a goal to finish them till the end of the year. Usually it works quite well, except lip products (over hundred in my collection🤭). But still some of them I tend to use up completely. This year I have an issue with eyeshadows. I got into indie makeup and increased number of palettes in my collection. Now it’s hard to balance their usage and panning. How to deal with it? Who knows?!🤔
That sounds like a great way to focus on some products while still enjoying your whole collection!! And maybe you could try an eyeshadow roulette to help you rotate through your eyeshadows! 🙂

That's awesome!! If I'm not trying to be creative, I often do very similar looks from day to day as well.
WOW that top, the earrings, your makeup...it is a LOOK! That color really suits you!
Thank you so much, Rebecca!

This is a struggle for me too!! It can be so hard to strike a balance!

I need to start doing this!!

I was afraid it would feel like a chore too but it's actually been the opposite for me!
I'm almost 100% cruelty free in my makeup and skincare routine so that's a huge motivator for me to hit pan
Wow that's awesome!!
I love repressing powders. I’ve done it for friends. It makes me feel so satisfied when I finish it because I know I used it all

Loving you’re makeup in this video xx
Thank you Jade! ❤️❤️
I agree with setting number goals 100%. Some products just dont show enough progress to keep you motivated.
It has been a game changer for me!! I used to get so discouraged if I didn’t start seeing progress right away.
These are all really great tips for panners.
Thank you Jessica!
These tips were SO HELPFUL!! I’ve been feeling so bored with my project so I’ll have to put some of these into practice!
So glad it was helpful! 💗
Great tips👍 Beautiful lip combo❤

That is awesome, good luck on your project pan and no-spend year!!

Girl you are looking GORGEOUS! The colour of your shirt, your hair, your makeup 😱😍😍
Thank you so much!!! 💗💗💗
I love the new haircut on you! Also, this eyelook is stunning.
Thank you so much!! 🤗
I once repressed a face powder and it didn't work out too well so I've never bothered to do it again.. but I think I'm going to try it again
Haha my first time re-pressing didn’t go so well either!! It’s definitely worth it to try again!

I really should start doing it for all my makeup!!
thank you for the tips! btw did you cut your hair? it really suits you
Yes I did!! It was kind of impulsive haha but I’m liking it so far! Thanks for watching 🤗

Short term goals are so helpful for making sure you stay focused!!
Your eyeshadow looks gorgeous. Thank you for the panning tips.
Thank you Shelly!!
Can you do a video on your favorite Instagram panning accounts?
Fanny Ledezma I can definitely consider doing that! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Your panning tips are always so useful! True game changers, at least for me, for whom panning is like pulling teeth 😂
Aww thank you!! Hope it helped it feel at least a little less like pulling teeth lol!
