Awesome course and vid! I am getting my Deadbolt SCX24 tomorrow in the mail. Can’t wait to rip it (or crawl it should I say) around my garden. I bought it to entertain my 1 and 4 year olds (you all know its for me 🤫) I am more of a quadcopter pilot but having to stay more close to home I am now hooked on vehicles too!
They are a blast. I bought 1 as soon as it came out and a second one for my son a month later. I pre ordered the 67 Chevy scx24 a few months ago but ended up cancelling the order when it hot pushed back a while.
I love backyard crawler courses and yours is one of the best I've seen. My grandson and I have a 1/10 scale in my backyard, our favorite place to play! Subbed for more fun! Have a wonderful weekend my friend!👍😎👍
Yea I live right next to a creek, so before I had a course I'd take my losi rock rey down there. Then I started think how awesome it's be to have a smaller machine where i could drive year around inside or outside. So I got a basher Rocksta 1:24 and man they can crawl. They are cheap and have 4 wheel steering. Then the scx 24 came out. Everything kind of escalated quickly. My uncle bought the basher as well and we had talked about building a course. He built an awesome little course with a rope bridge .
Lol I wish I had a garage to build one in. I was pleased with how it turned out. I'm about to have to tear it all down and move it somewhere else though.
@@jamesbaker6705 I have done allot of upgrades to my scx24 to my course is for 1/10 scale little hard for the deadbolt but still fun have a great day my friend 😁👍
Just recently got into the 1/24 from 1/10 and been looking at all the courses people make. Yours is by far, well made. You mentioned a year ago you had to move it? Post up the rebuild and share the new place. There's so much more you can add to that too! First thought is a suspension bridge or two from end to end👍✌
I haven't moved it yet. Lol. Hopefully coming soon. Covid and life hit hard. Trying to recover piece by piece. I started in the 1/10 game but fell in love with a basher rocksta then bought the SCX24s as soon as they came out. Thank you for the compliment though.
In all honesty I don't put out a lot of content. When I made this video there weren't very many course ideas so I was just trying to help a few people get some ideas. Glad you enjoyed
@@RC4all yea hopefully. It didn't hurt much just pushed all the rubber mulch into the yard and messed up a couple other things. I'm gonna move it to a different location
Thank you. I'll try to get a better video next time that's a little closer up. This was videoed after me being up for 24 hours and working all night. Lol. I have a basher rocksta as well. I may attach my GoPro to it so I can follow the axial around and get better footage. But I was by myself
My uncle has a pretty awesome course as well if you want to check it out as well. Look up "Basher Rocksta with scrambler tires". His channel is 1LONEWOLF40. It was uploaded in the last 24 hours
Honestly the bridge is just a bunch of scrap small pieces I had laying around that I Brad nailed together. The teeter totter is made with 1x4s for the sides and lower frame and the top is 1x2s I had laying around. I put a 1 1/4" dowel through the frame and screwed the 1x2s to it. it's extremely easy to do.
Lol I've had several SCX 24s and several basher rockstas on this course. In all honesty before the scx24 came put I bought 2 basher rockstas and thought seriously about getting an HBX devastator. How do you like it?
I had most of the material already. The most expensive part of it was the rubber mulch. Otherwise it wasn't bad. Ended up with about $200 in all of it.
Around $200. The rubber mulch was the most expensive part. I had the wood that I build the seesaw and bridge out of. The other bridges were made out of sticks and the tire was one I blew out on a trailer.
Man I love your course, very clean and well put together, cool spot to hang out and crawl
I can't believe I just sat here and watched a man play with his RC truck... now I want one...
Lol. It's a trap. You'll be hooked. It all starts with one then next thing you know you have 8
What a great video. The course is so cool and I enjoyed the whole thing, Great driving. Thanks for sharing
Thank you
nice course, inspirational & some quality videos, cheers
Thank you
it´s a great course. iam also build a course for this little beast "green deadbolt24". good job james
Thank you. Hopefully I can start making videos again soon. I still need to relocate the course
very clean and deliberate setup here. I hope to setup something like this in my backyard eventually!
Thank you. Luckily i had most of the stuff to build this course. Just had to buy the landscape timbers and rubber mulch
Nice driving! I really like the course. Very clean and set up well.
Thank you. I need to redo it somewhere else. Just haven't decided where exactly. Lol

Great inventive course! Love the see-saw! Genius!
Thank you
I built a course also, you inspired me to make a video of mine, i added a see saw too. my grandkids like to drive the 2 deadbolts on it
That's awesome. My uncle built a house first and inspired me to build one. He actually helped put this one together. My sons love it.
Such a cool set up! I think you'd really enjoy all wheel steering here. Super simple, look into it 👍
I have 2 basher rockstas with all wheel steering and I put all wheel steering on my son's SCX24. It is very beneficial on this tight little course
Nice course behind the home.
Thank you. It needs to be relocating soon. Lol
Very cool micro course. Looks great and works perfect.
Thank you. It took a little time but definitely turned out good.
A little piece of awesomeness in the garden .. I'm inspired 😎👍
Lol most of it is made out of scraps I found around the yard. Lol.
@@jamesbaker6705 .. I have a nice little dirt section at the back of the garden I'm going to utilise for a mini coarse .. thanks for the inspiration 👍
That'll be awesome

Wow thats a cool course, and its so tidy!
Thank you. In all honesty it's not at the moment. It got flooded and doesnt look as good. I need to rebuild it soon.
That's an awesome course! Great job! If only I can put one in the house now!

That is an awesome course bud. Great job!
Thanks bud. Im gonna move it down by the creek if I get a break in rain and chaos soon.
Cool little course I have a back yard course to the scx24 is a little beast love mine👍😁
Yes it is. I've done a ton of upgrades to mine and my son's since I bought them and it was a very well thought out platform from the get go.

Thank you. We just got it completed this past weekend.
Nice course dude!!!!
Thanks. I need to get better videos of it when I finally get time.
Course is awsome I'd add sum holes and dirt hills along with a big rock wall. I'll have my scx24 this week! Tierd of seeing videos lol
