  • In a previous video, I mentioned 6 Christmas gift and stocking stuffer ideas for the automotive enthusiast. One of them was a Seat Gap Filler and Organizer that can also hold drink cups and has a place for storage.
This video shows how it looks and works in a Saturn Sky which should be the same in the Pontiac Solstice.
    Product mentioned in the video.

Thanks Mike, great review! Probably buying a set or at least offering it up as a Christmas gift idea to my family!

Thanks so much Mike, just sent the link to my son.
Will be better than another pair of socks!
Ma Va relocate the compressor to behind the drivers seat.
Remove the foam retainer as well.
This frees up a bit more room for luggage space. every millimeter helps.

Been there, done that. I also have one of those magnetic phone holders that uses double sided tape on the dash. It works but there's been a few times when it fell off and I had to use new tape (due to the sun making it loose it's stickiness). I like the cup holder in these. It's definitely better than the one that pops out of the center console or the ones in the waterfall behind you.

I wear sweatpants all the time and the pockets are sooo shallow. My wallet always ends up falling into that little gutter area beside the doorsill. Sometimes I'll end up going to the store not realizing that I don't have my wallet on me and I'm like "That damn car!" 😂😂
Something like this would be useful but legroom is rough as it is. I just put anything I need to grab in a pinch in the pouch area in the seat.

Lol. I've dropped things in that little doorsill gutter too. Not easy to get things out of it when driving. I thought this seat gap filler would be rough for leg room as well, but I guess it depends on how big your legs are. Mine are average so it isn't bad. In fact, it seemed better than I thought it was going to be. And like I mentioned in the video, if I'm by myself, I can just use one on the passenger side.

The big problem with this car, in my opinion, is the limited boot space and the (too) many steps you need to do to access the boot.
I guess there is no fix to those problems...or ?

There's really no fix for the boot space. You just have to be creative when packing. Imagine how much room there would be without the gas tank being there.
