  • In this video I will be giving you a review and showing you how to install the Aeroforce Interceptor OBD2 Gauges. These are awesome and are relatively easy to install. I highly recommend them. To buy them check out the Aeroforce Website below.

    I have these on my 2008 2.0 Sky Redline. I use them to keep an eye on misfires, which is why I asked you about the valve cleaning in your other video. On mine, I keep them on Misfire Count, A/F Ratio, Long Trim, and Short Trim. I have other metrics I can flip to, but those are the ones I usually keep displayed.
    One thing I've noticed about my Sky is that she sometimes misfires at any point of a drive. I sometimes see a cold start misfire, sometimes when coming to a stop or pulling off from being stopped... On average, I'd say I see between 0 and 6 misfires on a 30-mile trip into town and back. It varies... Sometimes I might see 6, sometimes none. I'm at 92k miles with the engine, and at 100k, I plan on doing my timing chain. I'm hoping to do a good cleaning at the dealership once I do the timing chain. I think the timing chain will run around $3,200 to do, so I'm hoping I might get a cut with the labor if I do the valve cleaning at the same time... But I'd love to know if your valve cleaning helped in any way, namely with misfires. Do you keep an eye on that with these gauges? If so, you might consider adjusting for that because it's great to keep an eye on. (Everyone I've spoken to, including those over on the Saturn Sky forum website as well as a certified GM Saturn Gold Star Master Tech) have all said that the misfires I see with my car is nothing to worry about and that it's when you start seeing double or triple digit counts that you know something needs fixed... But still, ANY misfire in my book is something to strive to fix, ya know?

    It's unfortunate my piggyback tuner uses the obd2 port. Using a splitter probably won't work dang it

      Yeah unfortunately that’s the only downside. I know with HP tuners, when the car is getting tuned you can simply unplug the obd2 cable while the tuner tuned the car then plug them in when the tune is complete. Unfortunately if yours is plugged in all the time it my not work with a piggy back.

    How's the visibility out the front vs before the gauges were there?

    • @jaydengarcia389
      @jaydengarcia389  Год назад

      I would say the visibility is the same. It kinda just adds the gauges to the A pillar and won’t really affect visibility.
