The throttle body mount looks like for the 2005-2008 Corollas with drive by wire throttle bodies. The 2003-2004 is cable type. The mounting on the 03-04’s are different. So this intake manifold can be used for the 03-04’s.
Are vacuum leaks common for the plastic Toyota plenums ? Have always noticed a hissing sound from my mom’s 2000 Celica GT. It only has 120k, and the intake has never been off the car. My curiosity here, does 20+ years of heat distribution cause the OE intake to separate?
I’ve searched for hours and can’t find anything that says the bolt thread pitch and size. The head is 12mm (as said in the video), the bolt is m8, threads? 1.25-1.5.? ( tried generic 1.5 and there was a little play) The length?
Theres a part on your manifold that isnt on the original one. The little part sticking out near the bottom right (in the front) that has the rubber piece over it. Am I supposed to leave the rubber cover on or take it off??

Always good to smoke test the engine to make sure if you need to replace any of the manifold, valve cover or throttle body gaskets!
super well done video. Best I have seen. Will follow exactly.
I appreciate you I love the way that you do it and how you describe everything
What's that hose called that you unplug from the intake manifold last behind it
O-ring on oil filler cap needs replacing also?

Is it better to replace the whole manifold or just the gaskets?
Whay would be some signs of a bad intake manifold? And would you have rather just clean the inside and replace new cascades?
Black dust near the front bottom of the manifold, random vibrating with fluctuating idle

Please what’s the name of the second hose you took off, close to the intake manifold?
Hi, is this much different for a Pontiac G6? I don't know what I'm looking at. Can you do a video on it?
What is the torque for the throttle body gasket?
On a 2006 Corolla where is the idle air control valve it’s not on the throttle body where else could it be
VERY GOOD VIDEO AND VERY EXPLANATORY.GREETINGS.
Good job and awesome videos. Thank you.
So this is supposed to make the engine more powerful? Do people really feel the difference while excellarating?
That’s is the same for Toyota Corolla 2009 ?????
why does intake manifold explode?
Don't you need to include a gasket?
Error code P0170 (CEL) requires this procedure...... luckily it's not that serious (so there's no absolute need for this somewhat complicated job.)
You literally missed the whole reason why you pulled this apart? You didn't even show the gasket replacement? Why bother and not show the main part.
