Look, I don't deny that the media has done a lot of damage in this regard. In the matter of pursuing, even if a guy is attractive, his actions are often what would be regarded as harassment in real life (because the girl already said "no" and this guy doesn't stop browbeating her into accepting him). Even some shows aimed at children are guilty of this. But because the guy is "hot" and "a good person", it is portrayed as a healthy demonstration of love (thank God people are being more critical of those shows nowadays).
It's also bad for girls. Many shows portray them as having to behave/act in a certain way in order to be accepted (and how many shows have the girl who is dating the "male lead" be a total bitch so people can cheer when he dumps her for the heroine?).
I don't deny this point.
But this isn't what is happening here. This guy isn't even ugly, but this attitude is disgusting. You DO have to respect a person's autonomy. If they say "no", they mean "no".
You know why everyone and their mother are against this guy? Because the saying that you don't have to respect someone else's choice is, frankly a r@pist-like thought. With that said, there actually studies which show differences in the ways that men and women think, view the world, etc. No, I'm not defending the "studies" he's talking about. I'm talking about actual research done by real accredited experts. I'm glad the creeps don't actually look them up because they would use the info to manipulate and destroy but think more decent people should look them up.
For example, let's say a study says leadership is attractive. That makes sense as the follower trusts the leader to look out for their best interests. "Guide me to lay down in green pastures" type of stuff, yeah? A good person would realize that would require one to build that trust and not break it for their own gain. Creeps? They jump to thinking that they must get full and total control without question despite having done anything to earn it and how they can use that for their benefit without caring about the other's wellbeing at all.

1) preformed on wolves, NOT HUMANS.
2) heavily flawed. The person who published it has been very public about how much he hates the way people have taken it, because it was very, very incorrect.
Just respect women. Very simple. No alphas, betas, none of it. Just listen to someone and respect what they say.
