22:30 - had this same exact issue applying for a job after school. Put down my military experience in a resume - the job was completely unrelated to security or anything like that. I left out anything that had to do with combat. Only put in my resume I was solely responsible for 100s'of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, I had to be able to work on my own, lead 5-7 guys, structure and plan tasks, basically the good skills any employer would want to see in a candidate. Skills that 100 percent translate to the civilian workplace. My schools career center refused to send out my resume to this job that I KNEW I could excel at and be a great asset to this company - simply because my resume showed military service. Not because it said I was in afghanistan, not because I had worked with weapons and fucked people up in other countries, etc. BECAUSE IT SAID I WAS IN THE MILITARY. Like what? I asked "why is that a problem? Look what I list under my skillset for my military career! The more I listen to Mike I fill like he my not appreciate civilians speaking up about the 2a and the constant attack in it. This is maybe the third time I've heard him say " talking about the 2a is not helping ". I think it helps a lot. Because the silent majority is the problem. Military guys hating on civilians and belittling them on the 2a conversation. It also happens the others way around. I hear people always say we can't have a conversation. Then fallow with there ideals about civilians not being able to bring anything to the table.
That was a very insightful Interview. Especially the stances on the extrem actors of the market were seriously enlightening. Im glad you brought common sense back on the menu. Keep up the good work
Mike Glove truly loves America and it's people! What a heart! God bless you, thank you for your service and your continued service to this great nation!!

Straight up, and no disrespect to any others out there, but this is the best podcast I have listened to, to date!!! Guys my mind is exploding right now, y'all have hit every nail on the fucking head! This podcast was extremely inspirational, it has me re-evaluating some things in my life for the better. Keep up the fight, keep doing what you are doing! Haha Thanks to both of you guys for your service and to all the service members that might read this post.
I think its awesome that companies like BRC, and Fieldcraft Survival exist. I think its almost more important that these veteran run podcasts exist. Its refreshing to hear from people who have actually been around the world and gained knowledge through experience not just a text book. Makes the world seem less crazy knowing there's other people out there who don't just see in black and white, republican and democrat. Thanks for being real people.
Outstanding podcast! Really good to see fellow veterans supporting each other. It is hard to transition to the civilian life after so many years in the military and to create your own successful companies and help fellow veterans out as much as you guys do is inspirational. I proudly drink Black Rifle Coffee and look forward to training with Fieldcraft Survival at the Gun Fighter Carbine Course in two weeks in Houston, Texas. Keep up the great work!
I’m a Veteran & did some free graphic design work for another Veteran. I also created a business name for him. I’d like to start my own business in time. I find happiness in helping other veterans. When I’m not working at my full time. God Bless Our Veterans and the people who support us!
Will always love the complete transparency Evan and the guys have. If you wanna know what they think they lay it out plain and simple. That's why it's so surprising people think there is a story here. There are literally months worth of podcasts proving exactly where Evan stands.
Such a great conversation here. Especially with preparing kids. I agree ...we have to get our kids back to the basics of leadership! Encompassing many of the tools you two referenced.
I identify with the difficulty of getting hired as a combat veteran. My solution was also to start my own company. As veterans, we never quit and we will get the mission done. If no one wants to hire us, we'll hire ourselves. Sounds like we need a veteran own payment processing company. I'll use them. I use and hire veterans and veteran owned, first. We have to support our own, because no one else will. It's survival.

I am a veteran and a business owner at the end of the day if the democrats win they're going to put all of us entrepreneurs out of business we can never forget that.
If your business is so fragile that it can't survive a change in political party, it might be time to come up with a different business model. I'm not saying that to be snarky; it's just inevitable that there will be shifting political parties over the long haul. I'm an entrepreneur, and while I have certain political preferences, my business isn't dependent on any one party or candidate winning.

Well, Kyle is a touchy subject. An underaged Illinois kid who could not legally purchase a firearm. So he knows he is underage to legally purchase the firearm. That's legal issue #1. #2 went to Wisconsin and paid his sister's boyfriend to buy the gun for him. He couldn't legally purchase in Wisconsin, because not a resident and underage. Just those two issues, he should not been at the event with a firearm. #3 Wisconsin state law states that he is too young to open carry a firearm. Another reason, he shouldn't have been there with a firearm. Do you see the backlash that BRCC would receive? Supporting someone with an illegally acquired firearm.
@@EditingWithPopPop do you mean pushback or backlash? Kickback typically means bribe and seems like maybe it was a typo or error your post raises good points and I wouldn’t want them muddied by inaccurate verbiage
@@EditingWithPopPop Sadly it shouldn’t be a touchy subject. I think it can be noted that he was a year too young or whatever, but then show how he was in the right protecting himself and property. He did what many “talk” about doing but put his money where his mouth is. And he’s a freaking kid. Tells you something about how many actually would step up and fight for the survival of this country and constitution. He did nothing morally wrong, just a technical violation of a firearm law. Therefore that should have been all he was charged with, if that. When the country was fought for there were plenty of 17 yoa’s or 17 yoa’s or younger masquerading as older to bleed for their freedom

This was a great interview... I agree with the potential issue of people leaving FB to go to Parler... and it's more right leaning... and that can also be an issue... but at the end of the video... it talks about going to Local... because of censorship... which is the primary reason for leaving FB... I am noticing a trend here... I am not going to lie... I am seeing a frog in hot water situation... and I am very afraid we are all going to get cooked because we didn't notice the temperature increase here.
Very, very interesting. Yes, I enjoy you guys at Black Rifle being funny and silly, but there’s some real heart and great knowledge there. Keep going! I know I’m proud of you all! And I know there are many more Americans proud of you, too.❤️❤️
I love these too and the good work they do. The problem is nice people can do bad things. They care so much about who is a good person or bad person, but when it comes to politics, policy is far more important. You have to ask yourself what principle are most important to you, and support politicians that will uphold those principles. Labels like extremist, red, blue don't matter. They are painting with a broad brush and ignoring the bad things that good people can do. You can be a moderate who supports evil, and a extremist that fights for good.
Amazingly, I don't agree with every word that comes out of the mouths of Mike Glover or Evan Hafer, nor do I necessarily share their seeming political beliefs. Shockingly, I buy Black Rifle Coffee and Fieldcraft products and am a paying, vetted member of American Contingency. Alarmingly, I enjoy listening to their philosophies. Hmmmm...much like I love talking to my sons (40-something guys who are veterans), who have opposing beliefs from each other on nearly everything, and neither of whom has the same beliefs and philosophies as their mom. Oh well, call me crazy that I don't surround myself with completely like-minded people. Actually, if I try to do that, I'll be totally alone because I've never met anyone who believes exactly as I do.
Great post! Surely one of the most uncomfortable parts of freedom is the necessity of accepting the differences of others, whether those are political, religious, or social beliefs. Accepting your fellow Americans, despite their differences, is part of what makes this country great. Freedom means allowing others the Liberty and Autonomy to think, feel, and behave differently from us without canceling them. As long we all place the Constitutions and Bill of Rights at the top of the hierarchy of importance, we can tolerate each other's differences and still peacefully co-exist. #USA
Kudos. And similar situation here. I seek out people like Mike and Evan intentionally to get out of my bubble and challenge my beliefs. I joined AmCon as well for that same reason -- to help me meet and understand people I might not otherwise encounter in my usual activities. I've had my mind changed (for the better) by being willing to listen and consider points-of-view that aren't my default setting.
I love the idea of the children's book(s) for this space.. as a father I have found myself with many similar challenges trying to discover solutions that are effective. Please, please write this... I'll definitely buy it!

Awesome episode. Still rolling with BRCC AND Mike Glover. Keep up the good work gentlemen.
Now this is a convo I’ve been waiting to hear!
I love mike and Evan I respect both of their opinions and ideologies and listening to Mike’s rants on AMCON makes me want to run through a wall! I wish I lived closer to them (I’m in WNY) so I could go to some of mikes field craft survival courses.
God bless SGM Glover for single-handedly trying his best to bring denim back. ;-)
Mike, once I go land-mobile 24/7 next year I'm registering for one or two of your company's classes.
God bless all you guys please stay strong it's great to hear a no bull crap assessment of whats really happening in this country
I loved the meeting of minds of Fieldcraft Survival & Black Rifle Coffee Company! Great interview!
I don't drink coffee, but I'm gonna order some up and shit I guess give it to a friend or something.
Been waiting for you two to sit down and talk 🇺🇸
This must be one of the best episodes you guys have done. I appreciate and identify with Mike's views and approach.
One of the most informative and captivating FRA podcasts to date. Great show guys!
Great episode and mike glover is the man
Outstanding podcast!
Love this guy. Thank you all.
Mike and Evan having a conversation... always good times! Huge fan of both of y’alls, keep up the great work!
Such a great conversation here. Especially with preparing kids. I agree ...we have to get our kids back to the basics of leadership! Encompassing many of the tools you two referenced.
Two of my favorites together. Mike and Evan are both so matter of fact. I love it.
You guys need to get Shawn Ryan on here
YES
@@danielgonzalez-kz4gc Shawn is a good guy, not afraid of talking about his feelings, anxiety etc. That helps everyone with the same problems. Everyone is a bit cringy tho ;)
@@GamingT0G0 you right
Great interview and spot on comments by both Mike and Evan. Love Mikes/Tim Kennedys idea of creating a Veterans in business helping other Vets in business.
Me too!! Can’t get enough of him, his experiences and who he is a person.
Getting away from politics is nearly impossible these days. Mike ritland and you guys are informative and insightful. I have never served in the military but I come from a family that has served. Two brothers , a father and a grandfather served this great nation. I have seen the 21 gun salute at my grandfather’s funeral ! Very unbiased
20 minutes in And it’s already one of the best podcasts i have listened to in the last six months.
I stumbled upon Mike and Evan's podcast as you do (thx algorithm) and I am so glad I did. I completely understand the POV they are speaking to as it speaks across aisles. As a brit living in Canada it's fascinating to hear other perspectives on people's outlook and life experiences such as Military and Americans lifestyles and POV as both are foreign to me. Thx for the frank podcast. 🙏
Excellent, Excellent Pod cast nothing but respect to you and Mike.
Thank you guys. Service and speaking the truth
another 2 hours of Mike Glover? fuck yes. You guys are true patriots who see through the fog.
keep the good stuff coming . love your coffee, content, guests and values !
I love the positive outlook. Your in it for the long hull . Lucky for you the haters are on a 24 news cycle or trend list. You guys just need to look forward and stay true to who you are. Thanks for the podcast. Respect!. Hey Mike Don't let the oligarchy tech companies ruin such a good thing your doing. God bless guys.
Just freakin truth. All the way around. Let’s support these guys every chance we get. I like that they don’t agree with me on every issue. I learn that way.
Damn Mike Glover and Evan speak so much truth! Great podcast
@@lizd.9671 how can you easily say his business is so "fragile" I've owned and sold my small business I've owned in California and the pressure on small businesses and stress of you trying to follow the law, so if they say you have to close and your not making income and the landlord is asking for you today rent or 25% of the rent not including payments for lets say your one register you signed a couple year contract or internet,TV, water&electricity , etc. When the law said you don't have to pay the government or state governor /mayor they will still demand money monthly and they're so big and powerful that you can't get help and have to pay... and the whole state/s do a lockdown on a PANDEMIC with a 99.97% survival rate and 0.03 max death rate ....
Such a good conversation. Thanks for posting this.
Best talk I’ve heard in a while, thanks for. This.
❤️ Hot damn!!!! I needed this podcast today-!!! I’m a retired Baltimore City police officer and understand in many ways what military veterans go through. I was DX’d with PTSD 9 years ago, shortly before I retired. My husband is retired Army. I love being a part of the military community because there are similar shared experiences both emotionally and physically. I just got back from the gym at Wiesbaden Army base and sat down to finish the rest of this episode...💪🏻
I never feel bummed out after listening to Free Range Podcast and its guests. Mike Glover is a great choice as a guest! ❤️I agree with Mike- “Let’s hit the gym!!!’ 💪🏻 great show guys!!!!
Very timely production. Much appreciated by those with ears to hear...
I started drinking coffee because of this podcast. I ordered some BRCC and began to grind beans and make coffee for myself. I've never drank coffee in my life. I'm 40 years old.
No one can destroy a Reputation like brcc. I love this podcast. Keep it up you guys are awesome
One of my favorite convos from this podcast.
This civilian will have BRCC back always. Been with you since the beginning
Excellent podcast gentlemen excellent.
2 of my favorite men! Than k you for what you both do!
Common sense and humour, can’t ask for better....👌🇬🇧🌴🇺🇸
Love this guy
Podcast like these and Jack Carr books is how I unwind and refocus
If genuine common sense, like these two possess and display was actually common, we would live in a different America right now.
Evans mindset led us to this hellish nightmare, rejecting confrontations for the sake of business
Great Stuff Guys !!! We Are All American's !!! Stay Strong and Be Safe !!!
Didn’t think supporting Kyle was a far right idea...
Yeah, apparently self-defense is wrong.
Putting out dumpster fires in gas stations is far right ideology now tho.
Love you guys. Great job.
Damn I was just thinking about how I wish Glover and BRCC would do a podcast and this popped up! Awesome!
Their 2nd brcc podcast too!
Another episode of these two gents would be great right about now.
Thank you for all you do!
As JT requested on FB, “Stuff If You Can!” Here’s some more to prevent the algorithm from being steered 👍
My coffee club shipment is “in transit!” Cannot wait for it to arrive! ☕️
Hey Black rifle coffee is a great company with an amazing coffee.
I don't live in America but i believe that being free to do and be what you want is part of what being american is.
To all of those who are attacking Black rifle coffee, grow up, wake up and smell the coffee, enjoy the amazing coffee that this coffee provides and appreciate the work that they put every day to not only provide amazing products but to help and support veterans.
Keep up the amazing work and God bless you guys
Outstanding podcast !!!
I love you guys!!! Don't stop!!!
Thank you for the podcast.
The show I've been waiting for👍
Much Respect guys!!! 🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼
And I know there are many more Americans proud of you, too.❤️❤️
You guys are awesome! 🇺🇸
Great show!
Robert miler went to my high school!!! I was I think in 8th grade when he graduated but he is definitely my small town hero!!!
Fuck yeah!!!! Mike Glover is the best.
Mike and Evan, great show
I fucking love Mike. I went to the thing in Goldendale WA over the summer, but we didn't get a chance to talk.
I love the idea of the children's book(s) for this space.. as a father I have found myself with many similar challenges trying to discover solutions that are effective. Please, please write this... I'll definitely buy it!
Rocking that Canadian tuxedo, I see
Good conversation. It would be interesting to hear Evan talk about the Kyle controversy with someone who is less amicable about it.
Why? So we can hear someone shout talking points over and over? I'd rather listen to these two.
