How to use the Power-Up Band at Super Nintendo World! | Collect coins, stamps, & secret blocks

- I spend the day in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, collecting coins with my Toad Power-Up Band! We’ll collect stamps (achievements), coins, and battle Bowser Jr. I also try getting the secret stamps at Note Block Rock!

Love the orchestration of the note blocks. Even if it's for a few seconds and they didn't have to do that, it's the thought to make it into that, that counts. And it's cool that they also added secret songs!
I didn't realize there were secret songs until I looked at the stamps closely and noticed a few of them said secret songs.
Y'know, since its called SUPER Nintendo World, what if we were to design a park themed specifically to the greatest hits of the SNES?
* Now obviously there would be plenty of Super Mario to choose from (World, All-Stars, Kart, Yoshi's Island).
* Next, just like in Universal, would be a land themed to the Donkey Kong Country trilogy.
* Then we'd have a Zelda land based on A Link to the Past.
* StarFox would fit the role of the sci-fi Tomorrowland area.
* Finally, something for the adults; might be controversial, but I feel its a forgotten franchise that deserves a second look: Killer Instinct
Mario and Luigi are Very Loveable Characters! I like to hug them so sweetly!
I love that everyone was chanting for both Mario and Luigi.
I'm just glad Bowser Jr didn't bring out Megahammer nor Megaleg from the Galaxy games, then we would've been squished without being able to challenge them.
Maybe that's part of the more challenging mode? hahah
Ah Chris thank you so so much for making these and putting so much effort in to them, always!! You’re making me ‘jones’ (haha) for a trip to Japan, I really hope they lift the border restrictions within the next year or so. I can’t wait to experience this, the regular universal, and Disney (not to mention all the history and culture of Japan itself). You really do such a wonderful job showing us such neat stuff and your explanations are perfect ;)

I’m going to have to sign up as a channel member (if you have that or patreon as an option). I’ve never done that before but honestly you and your videos (old and new) kept me sane and gave me hope the world would one day go back to normal, all throughout the pandemic.

Thanks for another fun video. This gives me an idea on how many days to plan for USJ the next time we visit Japan. Looks like I should set aside whole day just for SNW.
You could easily spend 3/4 of the day if you really wanted to do everything (including all the games). I'd say if you want to spend some time in SNW then 2 days for USJ is best or you can do their 1.5 day pass too (which I haven't done since I have an AP).

I heard that Yoshi’s Adventure is cut in the Hollywood version.

Hey Chris, do you know if the power up bands can be used at other Universal Resorts or is it only active from the resort you get it at?
Love your videos as always!!! So for the bowser jr attraction you need the bracelet to go in? Since you need the bracelet to play the games?
Is you knuckle sore from punching the blocks, also how do you deal with phone batteries per visit?!!
Nope! You don't have to hit them that hard and it's rubber. Although the brick blocks were a bit more solid when you hit them. I carry a portable battery to charge my phone.
Also, do they still have the Lupin III attraction at the universal studios over there?
I can't wait until they open Epic universe in 2025.

* As in SNES World on the opposite coast, our first land will obviously be dedicated to Mario ( both Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart64)
* Since we still need something for teens and above, a shoot 'em up dark ride based on GoldenEye 007 (and not the slow moving crap like Buzz Lightyear or Ant-Man; this needs to feel like a chase scene)
* a Legend of Zelda land, this time themed to Ocarina of Time
* our centerpiece would be dedicated to Super Smash Bros, with a rotating schedule of nightly battles
* a Pokemon land, with attractions based on Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap!
* a different Donkey Kong land, this one specifically themed to DK64
* StarFox 64 again serves as the sci-fi land
* finally, an often overlooked franchise gets its own area: Banjo-Kazooie
when i go to there Im gonna attempt a super nintendo world speedrun where I'll collect every coin as fast as possible lol
Reading your screens regarding the levels... I don't think it said beating level 2 or level 5.. it said beat it 2 or 5 times on any difficulty level. So just win, whatever level you choose.
Would be cool if the coins, were it could be useful within the games themselves.
This question might've been answered, but is the Timed Area Entry Ticket required to enter Super Nintendo World?

I went to super Mario world for my brother's birthday
I really thought you can buy stuff with that coin. At least a small souvenir like a bottle of water. But $30/person for leaderboard seems to be a waste even if it's optional.
The coins should be worth something. At the least a free soda🤷♂️
