I’m a vegetarian with an annual USJ pass, can confirm the best options are the cheese/mushroom pizza set at Louie’s and The Three Broomsticks in Harry Potter land has tasty potato and leek soup with soda bread! Have yet to see any vegan options… Also, highly recommend the themed desserts they have in the restaurant opposite space fantasy, when there’s an anime VR ride, e.g. Kimetsu - Some of the best desserts I’ve eaten in Japan!
I will be so disappointed if they don't bring over the food for Super Nintendo World! It seems Halloween Horror night food is popular so maybe Hollywood/Orlando will give themed food a chance?
It seem the koopa shell would have been so easy to bring over, just replace the yakisoba with spaghetti. Could even make the bread itself garlic bread.
I hope you ate all of this in one day. A couple of these reviews I have definitely taken note of, although some of your no’s, I’m still gonna eat. Not gonna lie. I’m sorry but macaroni danish pizza, I have to try even if I know it’s terrible. Super useful video, Chris! Thank you for everything you do. So excited that Japan is reopening. We were already saving, but it’s so much more real now borders are open!
I’d say the turkey leg is great if you’re living in Japan cuz as a resident, seeing turkey in stores and restaurants is RARE. It is a little pricey for the size but I love the turkey leg personally. And I’m surprised you didn’t mention the shark meat sandwich. It’s fishy but it’s absolutely delicious.
Huh, that's odd turkey would be rarer in Japan. My guess is maybe its not as popular of a meat and might be harder for natives to work with cooking wise. It's a guess. Turkey here in the states is usually easy to come by, mostly in sliced form for sandwiches. It's really only during the month November you'll see whole turkeys for sale. Before and after is harder to come by, but not possible. Still, $10 for a turkey leg is kind of steep, but then again Disney charges the same thing, 11.99 + tax and is considered a "snack".
@@UrSammich it’s actually under $7 with the current yen rate. But yeah Turkey really isn’t a thing here at all. That’s why KFC for Christmas is so popular, because it was the closest thing to the traditional American Turkey dinner available in Japan. I don’t think I’ve ever seen turkey for sale or on a menu here now that I think about it. Maybe subway has it but I haven’t eaten at a Japanese subway so I can’t confirm or deny.
Hands down, t.v. and videos are the absolute best way to learn a foreign language ❤✨ I wish you well in your studies. Most people where I'm from would be thrilled to learn some of your language. So we can actually help each other❤✨( I'm from South Florida we are used to visitors and most of us love to hear stories about where you are from, because many of us have never been out of Florida...it's a big state😂)🤗
Love the tip about the refillable drink option! Tried reading the Japanese website to see if it can be purchased on site but from what I can understand, it needs to be bought online? 😅 is that correct? Thanks so much for the info! I’m enjoying your videos as I prepare for a trip back to Japan!
I love this virtual trip that I just took with you. Thanks so much for a great experience of Universal Studios I could never have taken without your walk! Take care! 👍 Can't wait to see the next video
We did our USJ food tour after reviewing your video! The Kinopio Cafe was so worth it! The wait was too long on the 1st day so got there early on the 2nd day. The blue Jaws cake was small! Shark nuggets and Clam chowder good there. Minion snacks so cute!!!
Former Season pass holder to USJ: I love the Turkey leg. The Dragon's Pearl is the best price, I love eating there. Though I'm a season pass holder, I just hit up the Lawson outside the park for food usually, with a season pass you can go in and out.
The food over there looks so freaking delicious!!! For that Mario pastry, I would love for them to bring it over here to Hollywood! Sadly, I have little hope. Our food is not nearly as impressive sadly.
Chris, rewatching this with kids. Question about the unlimited drinks, is it disposable cups? Do you get a new cup each time? Australian parks always make you use the same cups and they are a pain to carry around because they don’t seal well.
i liked the turkey leg when i had it, its just really expensive and the aftertaste was eh. quite salty too, if youre into that stuff (and have the money) then go for it. if you dont like really salty foods skip it.
Oh I just love your shirt so much!! Did you get that at Nintendo world as well? 😍 thanks for sharing your review of all the food there, that’s so helpful for our next trip!
Going to USJ this weekend, so I wanted to get pumped by watching your latest video, But um, let’s talk about how great this new Teresa shirt looks on you! Helllloooooo!
What I really want to know is did you go on any rides after eating all that food? If you did, did you feel sick? I really loved the video regardless and thank you so much for posting this :)
That bobs favorite bear treat looked so good! Also Louie’s has so many more options than the one in Orlando. I wonder why they don’t have reusable cups for the unlimited refills band?
I’d love to see a video about fashion in the Tokyo parks. You seem to dress on theme in merch but in this video the people in the background looked generally plain. Are Disneybounding or couple/group theme shirts popular?
the last part, bahahaha! thank you for sharing these tips and i'll certainly keep them in mind for when i come to USJ. ugh i'm just so happy and excited every time i watch vlogs about Japan theme parks or really, Japan in general. i truly hope i get to visit soon!!!! 🤩
The cheesecake mario hat would be so easy to bring over. And the drinks! Some of the choices for nintendo world america is strange, americans would go wild for so many of the food options.
Hi, Chris, 'hajimemashite'. I've been a big fan of your videos (as well as Podcasts) for the past two years. Your presentation never fails to make my day. Thanks a million! I sincerely appreciate your respect and love toward Japan. All your comments are very thoughtful even when you are in awkward situations, and it makes me think I should be like that. BTW, I really wanna try Mario's cake. It looks super-duper delicious. -PS- 'jouzu' means "be good at ..., be skillful at ...", so 'Jaws, jouzu desu yo' means "Jaws is good at (something)". 'yo' implies "..., you know? / ..., I tell you / ..., I'm convinced of it". (Sorry for being a busybody ...)
if the one that opens in hollywood do not have as creative food and merch as in japan, i will be so sad :( 2 years ago? damn i watched that video when it was out and found your amazing channel :D
They should bring the unlimited drinks with the wristbands over here to Hollywood 😅cause these freestyle soda machines are such a pain! It’s so annoying when the cups don’t register and people always ask me for help when I don’t deal with the machines. And then others who don’t buy the reusable cups and think they can still use it with the paper ones.
hopefully the shark thing wasn't real shark and it just for effect, because how sharks are done is terrible. Ooh, and I think a good park vid been wanting to see from you is all the mouse desserts at the parks in Japan, since Japan seems to have all these mouse based desserts at their parks and in the US we don't really have those XD
I want everything about Nintendo land to come to Hollywood it needs a lot of new stuff since it’s the first park they have opened yet the worst out of the others they have built
But it used to be et adventure as shown on 11:13 and then it was a walking tour of et adventure which didn’t make sense for et adventure to have a walking tour in Japan 🇯🇵.

Just got home from school with this new video awaiting for me nothing could be better!
It'll make you hungry for dinner, hah!

Is it actually shark meat Wait
It is $6.84 in USD. That is CHEAP
Yeah I was thinking that too, and that price is wild, in many American theme parks that would be double the amount. Also they have a cute accessory!
I'm so thankful and grateful to you that you put English subtitles in the videos so I can learn English by watching your videos! Love you Chris! 💕

I love your videos so much!! Thankyou for all your hard work and for sharing Japan with us ❤
Thank you for watching!
I’m so jealous of the japan’s nintendo world food, especially peach’s cake.
4:14 I actually prefer Coke Zero over Diet so that's great 😅
I'm a Coke Zero person myself!

Would you recommend doing one day or two at Universal for your first time?
That Nintendo cafe is just perfect. Nintendo is the best
I wish Princess Peach got a peach pancake sandwich too. It's weird that she only has a drink.
The food over there looks so freaking delicious!!!
For that Mario pastry, I would love for them to bring it over here to Hollywood! Sadly, I have little hope. Our food is not nearly as impressive sadly.
You had me at “Boil em’ Mash em’ Stick em’ in a stew” 😂
So jealous of all that awesome Jaws food, and that you still have the Jaws attraction there!

Jaws hotdog looks « jawsome »😂
I am so hungry after watching this video. Now it's time to eat.
Hi, how long would u recommend to stay in SNW for a couple without kids. And how long more if we wanted to get 3 keys and complete the bowser jr game?

great video! thank for the post !
Do you need to keep the cup for the unlimited drinks or will they give you a new drink as long as you have the band?
"You probably noticed there's not a lot of vegetarian options. That's because there's not."
Lol, eloquently said.
My dad loves the Jaws movies but is allergic to seafood. He would love that hot dog!
if the one that opens in hollywood do not have as creative food and merch as in japan, i will be so sad :( 2 years ago? damn i watched that video when it was out and found your amazing channel :D
I NEED that Teresa shirt!!! SO CUTE!
Me too!!! Any idea where to find ?
@@thatelise I believe he bought it at USJ
ahh so jelly, i wish the parks in the states had themed food. it's such a missed marketing and experiential opportunity
I want the Mario strawberry shortcake to come to the US parks more than any of the food that's actually in Super Nintendo World.

It is always a surprise when Chris dosen’t like tye food 😂
I liked the Mario burger at Kinopio's Cafe but their kid's burger was awful. Avoid at all costs.
My favorite is definitely gotta be that hot dog from jaws and also jaws cake is delicious 🤤.
Love your shirt !

that shark sausage looks delicious :P
I want to go so bad... I was close to having a huge vacation to Japan but then lockdowns happened.

That’s Jaws nugget only come with 4 fries?!?
I’m in heaven watching this video 🤤
Hellooo~ I have some diet restriction (cant eat beef) How to ask them if they have chicken option for the same menu?
Thank youuuu love your videos >
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BOO SHIRT?
IM LOOKING AND DO YOI HAVE ANY IDEA?
Your SHIRT
Wondering how to purchase the USJ tickets from overseas, because USJ website only accepts apple pay and it keeps having payment failures.
Makes me sad I’ll basically be staving since there are vegan or vegetarian friendly options, can we bring outside food into the parks?
Raven yay amazing video
18:06 i guess you could say that it's....jawsome? *badumtshhh* great video as always!!
Where did you get the Boo! shirt?
I wanna know too!
Would love to take the little ones here someday

tanpin (単品) = single item.
the 'a' in the 'tan' sounds like "nut".
I love that boo shirt!!!
