I'm doing my first trip to Super Nintendo World here in early November.. Not going to lie, the whole ticket system USJ has to enter seems so... complicated
Of course I prioritized DisneySea on my first trip to Japan, but I also spent a few days in Osaka and decided to go to Universal Japan for a day. It was amazing! Plus they have JAWS! I blew more money on Snoopy and Nintendo merch than I spent in all of Tokyo Disney and the city of Tokyo combined. 🤣 This was easily the best “movie studio” theme park I’ve ever visited.
Thank you for such an informative video for everyone who wants to go to USJ. Your videos has been very helpful especially on our last USJ trip. We took your food recommendations seriously as to not waste time lining up and end up not liking the food. Also the USJ app tips are definitely a hack, not everyone (especially foreigners) use the app for the timed entry tickets.
Thank you for all your videos. Very helpful as I am the travel planner for my family. The pressure is big but your videos are a blessing. Thank you again and looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you so much for your video! My boyfriend and I just got home from our Japan trip and we booked the Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower at your recommendation and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! We had a room on the 43rd floor. Incredible view and beautiful, comfy room and a really good price. Thanks again 😊

Just wondering, can you do a video showing the accessibility for these parks? The US has disability access passes to help disabled guests and guests with disabilities access the parks easier, I’m wondering how it works in Japan?
Thanks for the video Chris! I'm wondering if you could please do a video on the rides at universal studios where you talk about each ride and describe the type of ride it is and the intensity. I'm going in October but am worried about certain rides because I get motion sickness so would love to know more about the rides themselves!
Just for clarity - if you buy an Express Pass for one of the Nintendo rides, are you all set for the timed entry? Or do you still need to scan your ticket to get your designated time?
Once you have your Express Pass that includes the timed entry, that's all you need to do (the time is on the Express Pass). The part with the app is if you want additional timed entries.
Hey Chris! Love ur videos, everytime I watch one it leaves a smile on my face and makes my day! One day my dream vacation is to go to Japan hopefully soon! Keep up da awesome videos!!😎
Im traveling to japan next month. One thing Im not getting....if you buy the express pass do you need to buy the entry ticket on top of that ? or does the express pass acts as an entry ticket ?
Thank you Chris! I just went to DisneySea Tokyo 2 days ago and thanks to your tips I could get as many rides as possible I also plan to go to Disneyland this Saturday (thanks to 3 days JPN holiday) Then during Obon holiday between August 11 - 20th I plan to go to Osaka & Kyoto and definitely visit Universal Studio So great to see you've just uploaded this video Peace from Tochigi
How do you get the physical ticket if you’re buying it from online? Do you just print it out? Or would I just be able to upload a digital copy and get my time entry pass for Mario world
Helpful video! A concern I have is, if I have an express pass with a timed entry for Super Nintendo World, can I also get a timed entry on the app to explore the land two different hours of the day?
I am going to Japan on the 28th of July I am so excited because I am waking up at 5a.m for my 8a.m flight and I am going to universal studios too and eating a lot of sushi!:D and btw I am from Macau
Hey Chris Love your videos! I purchased 2 express passes (1 for me 1 for my daughter) Unfortunately we have different timed entries for Nintendo world and Harry Potter. Do they make a big deal if you're going with someone and you have different times?
When I go on the USJ app, I notice that Harry Potter World usually has “no timed entry tickets.” Does this mean no timed entry ticket is required? Or that they are already sold out?
That’s so amazing that universal offers all those cool down methods … I luv the summer merch and the water guns how fun … as far as the foodie stuff I had my eye on the strawberry soda 😀
Hi, may I ask : If I'm only interested in going to Harry Potter World (not even necessarily to ride any rides, just get in and see the view) and not Super Nintendo World, do I need to buy Express Pass? Thanks in advance!!
What if you got a ticket for the Mario Restaurant but when it’s your time to enter the restaurant you don’t have a timed entry ticket anymore? Can you just go there early in the morning and get synced restaurant tickets and timed entry tickets for Nintendo world?
To go back into Super Nintendo World after you left, you will need another timed entry to get back in. You don't get to choose your return time, it's first-come first-served.
Hi, I'm going to Universal on a Wednesday... but in the summer. I can't arrive before 11.30am, do you think this would be too late to get a timed entry into Nintendo World please? Not looking for a 'for sure' answer, but more what your gut thinks. Thank you if you can advise!

We get a ticket for the cafe in the morning, but our time to dine is later in the afternoon. Can we leave Super Nintendo World to do other things in the park and be allowed back in when it is our time to dine? Thanks for all you do!

Friend, I have a question, how can I choose the schedules if I buy an express pass through Klook? I did not get the option to choose the schedules as in the official tickets
Do I understand correctly that to get into Super Nintendo World, we need to have an Express Pass Timed Entry Ticket? On the USJ website, they sell those as packages of either 7 or 4 attractions. So I need to buy one that has either the Mario Kart or Yoshi attraction on it. Once I have that ticket, I can load it into the App to get an "Area timed entry ticket" (which is different than an "Attraction timed entry ticket"). That way people in my group that aren't interested in any "attractions" can still gain access to the "area", is that right?

July and August are probably the worst months to visit Japan in general. Good luck surviving in line during that heat. This video is of great help. I was just wondering should I get an express pass for my 3 yr old? Since on the USJ website it says that he should get a free entry ticket since he is less than 4 yrs old but express pass says “all ages”..
Thanks Chris love your videos so much info. We went at the beginning of April this year and went to USJ on a Tuesday like you suggested with an 8&9 yr old. My opinion is you don’t need an express pass it’s not worth the price. Just get there early and go to Nintendo world first, be prepared for a long day. We did it all in one day
