Vanessa, thanks for doing such an amazing job grooming Misty and raising awareness of Addison in dogs. Sorry about your eardrums! :). She only ‘yips’ like that when she’s excited for a truck ride to the dog park. She doesn’t do it when we’re grooming her. So, she must have been excited to be groomed by you! For anyone who has a dog that exhibits the signs of Addison disease that Vanessa mentioned in the video for an unusual amount of time please take your dog to your veterinarian ASAP. Addison crisis comes on quick and if not caught in time can be fatal. If your dog is diagnosed with it, be sure to keep your dogs food stable and have his/her blood tested yearly to allow for adjustments to the medication. Thanks to our vet, Dr. Judge for catching this early and allowing us to love our Magical Misty for many more years. Many thanks, Misty’s pet parents.
