Anyways, about a year ago, 'Girl With The Dogs' groomed a Husky named 'Fredo'. I fell in love with Fredo, lol. 💗 He's hilarious. You may have seen his video already but in case you haven't, the title of the video I'm referring to is "Hilarious dramatic Husky throws a temper tantrum". During the blow-drying scene, Fredo is 'singing the song of his people' and it sounds like he's yelling 'Help me !" over & over. (Huskies are very 'vocal', as you probably know.) 😂

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. It's funny... I watch a channel with a very high content wolfdog and a husky (both house pets), and just yesterday I saw someone comment that the wolfdog needs a groom, but that maybe they just think that because they've been watching Girl With The Dogs, and then went on to say that Vanessa probably wouldn't want to deal with either of them. I replied that she'd definitely take the husky, and she says she gives everyone a chance, and I bet she'd take a low-content or well-socialized wolfdog, but I'm not sure about Kane (he's skittish around strangers plus doesn't like his feet touched)... I said she has muzzles and can hook him into her groomer's helper equipment, but his sheer strength might be too much for that... I also said she sometimes uses an assistant, but that might not be too helpful in his case, unless maybe his owner stayed to assist. But he doesn't need a groom anyway, because his owner keeps him brushed, especially when he blows his coat in the springtime. Anyway, what a coincidence that I just said yesterday that I could see her taking certain wolfdogs, and now today it seems she may have (even if she didn't know it)!

This is so important! I have what I’ve recently come to understand is a double coated shorthair cat (this can happen) and she’s always been extremely fearful of the brush so I pretty much let her self-groom so as to not give her an unpleasant experience. It was only through this channel that I started learning what I might need to look for and when I got a slicker brush, seriously, it was the first time I actually found something she not only tolerates but even seems to like. I think her fear came from other brush types catching in her undercoat and hurting. Finding out a good brush exists was such a relief for both of us. ❤
