I have the mark 5 90 watt combo in my studio. Just purchased a 2x12 mesa cab and I plan on getting the 100 w head. I played a Fillmore 50 a while back and really loved it. I prefer the clean channel and crunch on it over my mark V, not saying the mark is bad.
The only thing that even comes close to having your own children is when they bless you with grandchildren. I have 2 wonderful daughters and 4 beautiful grand daughters. Life changing.Enjoy everything about them....they grow up so fast. Great review Rolly and it nails Santanas sound.
I just bought one of these, it has been on my bucket list for quite a while and I must say I am not disappointed in the least! I was looking for something that would sound like an old black face, but maybe have a little more versatility for playing live. Thank you so much for this demo, it was delightful hearing your take on theIns and outs of how this app works best.

Some say it resembles in sound, a Fender Black Face amp... classic!
Nice video Rolly! I was almost convinced on a Mark V but here in NZ, the last one available new for some time was snapped up. The guy in the store mentioned the Fillmore was worth a look and that brought me to your channel. Love your content and honest, personable reviews. You mentioned you owned a few Mark V's. I realize the Mk V is quite a different beast compared to the Fillmore, but which amp do you enjoy to play more? I'm seriously considering a Fillmore 100 head and 212 cab now...
Great video! Thank you for reviewing! I was wondering, I love the Santana tone (I have a yamaha SG 2000) but if I could only buy one amp, is this amp versatile enough to get close to that early Santana tone? (I also use pedals/delays/fuss, etc for other music.) Do you think this would be the more versatile amp, rather thank a Mark 1? Thank you :)
Hope all is well for you my friend! Cheers rolly
How'd it compare the the Fillmore head you played a few weeks back?
Great review! Want to know if it can lower its volume without losing tone for home use.
