The PRS Special Semi-Hollow is a 'Special' guitar - I love mine too (currently my Avatar)
Incidentally, the middle position is both humbuckers (so you can get 4 different possibilities depending on whether you use them full or split - HH, HS, SH, SS). You get 12 different combinations from this Amazing guitar!

Of all the PRS's made, this one stands out as unique and offers something no other guitar from Gibson or Fender (or PRS) has... a unique tone mix... and the two I have played ... one a 10 top and one a Private Stock were both beyond perfect in their construction and playability.
Have this guitar, though not an artist package. Love it so much when I am not playing it I watch others play and talk about it! Great passion!

I keep coming back to this video of this amazing instrument. Very nice playing, beautiful sound, Lagavulin 16... All great things combined into one video! I think it really shows the versatility of this guitar. I even think there are some more sounds in there, if you play with the third position, where you can split both the neck and bridge humbucker individually. Great video! You made me wanna own one of these guitars.

I have acquired a pre owned one and it is awesome! I love setting my amps (a “Fender style” on one side and a “Marshall style” on the other ) for a bit of gain with a full on humbucker, then when I switch it to single coil it cleans both amps right up. Thanks for a great video Mr. Rolly. ✌️

Excellent video! I'm most likely buying this guitar in the next months, I love that you don't get a volume drop when tapping, do you get any extra noise when tapping? it doesn't seem like it in the video but I wanted to check with you directly because I've read it in other videos and forums.

NEW GAME in this video: I'm drinking a bit of 16 years old LAGAVULIN WHISKY every time when a pickup selection sounds good! So I'm quite drunk by the end of this video as this guitar is FLIPPIN' AMAZING! ALL THE PICKUP COMBINATIONS ARE GREAT!!! I've never experienced anything like this and I've not been impressed with a guitar this much for a while!

Is it versatile enough to be able to play Tool on it?? Somewhat serious question though, as you didn’t play it with any distortion. Have my eye on a beach fade version of this, but I wanna rock too, ya know? Is it too airy for alt-rock-metal like Tool? Probably ☹️

I have one and play it in a 90’s cover band (STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Failure, Garbage, Tool, etc.) and it does great with overdrive, fuzz and distortion. It’s really easy to get notes to hang on for eternity if you’re playing a real amp pushing air in the same room you’re standing in.
