    Finally, a Girsan review in english lol.
    Thanks for posting this and I look forward to an update a few thousand rounds from now. Your right on the lack of reviews on these. I managed to find one North American magazine review, a few threads on CGN and word of mouth from guys at the range with them. Overall everyone I've talked to really liked thiers. I'm hoping to pick up a full size model in the next few months.

    I just picked up my Girsan Regard MC in FDE today, so far am loving it! Not fired it yet, but it feels great in the hand, and has probably the smoothest slide racking feel I have ever experienced, like on ball bearings! DA is, of course, a bit heavy, but glassy smooth to the break. I like your video review approach, just simple and down to earth, you got a "subscribed" from me!

    In the USA it's called the Girsan Regard and yes it's a great firearm!

      I was wondering what the difference between my Regard MC and this was. And if you know is the Regard a closer replica of the f92 or the m9?

    i went to my local gun store this week and compared this side by side with a sig 226 and i preferred this way more. the trigger reset and slack was far superior to that of the sig

    I just got an mc28, an M&P made by them basically, and I'm loving it for the price. 300 for a solid service pistol. Polymer frame, aluminum slide, striker fired with a glock like trigger.

    Thank you for the review. Just a few additional comments for viewers. It's a clone of the FS92 because Girsan purchased the rights from Beretta as well as the dies and molds. I believe the mags are made by Beretta for Girsan without the Beretta name.
    And to the poster that mentioned the CZ 858, they are sold out because they are now prohibited by the RCMP..

    • @bettrnotbetaken
      @bettrnotbetaken 10 лет назад

      You might not be able to get the CZ 858 (Dumb ass laws much) but you can still get the CSA VZ58, a little more costly, but otherwise pretty much the same rifle.

    Great review. I have 2 of these, both full length, one is black as the one in the vid, and the other is the bright finish.
    Thousands of rounds of reloads have gone through these guns, with no trouble at all. To be honest, they have never been used with factory ammo.
    The mags are MEC GAR, which is an aftermarket mag manufacturer for the 92FS. So, actual Beretta mags do work.
    Girsans come with the finger grooves, and a full length metal guide rod. These would be custom options for a Beretta.
    If you're thinking about getting one, grab it now before the prices go up.

    Just got mine last week! Traded in my Glock 17 4th gen for it...had to pay the tax thats it! Havnt fired it yet though! I have fired the Beretta multiple times and they feel the exact same in weight and feel! Wanted a Beretta but didnt want to pay the 940 bucks....Nice to have some weight...the Glock was too light...but it was nice and held its resale value great. Lets see it at the range eh!

    The gun does not have a steel frame... The frame is aluminium with a anodised coating.

    you got your single and double action confused...i think...ill have to listen to it again.
    if you want to lighten the doubke action (long heavy) trigger, the order a "d" model beretta trugger spring and install it..easy to do with no gunsmithing experience required....or for even lighter, install a rear main spring from a 1911. i have and still use both of the simple mods in my various beretta 92/96 pistols

    Hello, why does the magazine only hold ten? Can it not use full capacity magazines as well?

    • @Rickervision

      Shulk In Canada all handguns are limited to a 10 round capacity by law.

      Rickervision Can you guys get 30 round AR15 magazines and use them in the Pump Action Rifles that use those magazines?? Looks like it would be a legal loop hole

    • @Rickervision
      @Rickervision  9 лет назад

      there are some legal loopholes. go through my videos and look for the "PCV Beowolf .50" video. Loophole lets us make a 14 round magazine for AR15

    Baretta vs Girsan they were tooled the I have the railed version. Smooth operation the by it being longer than the Glock 17 when shooting seems more powerful bang. The sight are nothing special double action is less trigger travel. Going to change asap

      dude! I am Turkish too..I bought a girsan 1911 before and immediately got rid of it right after i almost shot myself because of broken sear. I didnt know it was broken and all I had to do was to chamber a round ( with the index finger off the trigger of course). Next thing you know "BANG"..Dude that was f.king scary for it happened inside my home. When i called the gunsmith, he told me he repaired maybe 10 of these within past month and they all had the same problem. I should though, admit that these guns are cosmetically very nice and looks very authentic even though they are clones and i also think machining was pretty impressive..Turks need to use better material and make their parts available and interchangeable with the original brand firearms. Take care
