Maybe it is just because I'm socially awkward, but this whole scenario seems like extremely high level mental operation and social skills on display. Obama takes what many could interpret as a threat, defuses it with humbleness and humor, asks questions and is personable, imagines how the people involved will respond to the situation after the fact even while the situation is still unfolding, proceeds to do exactly what the person making the threat didn't want him to do, and make a good natured joke about it. All the while making his voting selections and acknowledging the media in the room. He could have just silently made his voting selections, but instead he went out of his way to make this moment that people are praising him for years later. Weather or not you like him or his political positions, I think what he did is brilliant.

Coolest, slyest, sharpest President from my lifetime. It was nice to have someone in charge who we didn't have to worry about his health, his integrity, his aptitude, his faithfulness to America and his own wife. Even during the 2008 recession, I had confidence in our President that he'd get us back on track and do the right thing the majority of his administration.
