Thanks Nuria - 5 months into my KDP business and think it's time to work on a website for my brand now. Great tips :)

Value first and success will follow are words to live by. Very insightful.

can you talk about ads maybe, how you set up your ads. For example do you advertise all books together or each book separately. Do you run the same ads all the time or do you kill them after while and set up new ads? I feel like most KDP gurus are avoiding this subject. I know results will not be the same for everybody but would be nice if you would talk about ads some more. TIA

I do talk about ads in previous videos. I don't think it would help though because everybody's books and keywords are different. Ads is something that you just have to experiment with and find out what works for your books. That is why not many people talk about ads, too many variables. However, I used to follow Tamara Tee for ads; she does FBA, not KDP, but her advice applies to KDP too and it helped me.

I wonder if anyone else is having this issue. I know alot of changes have been made to KDP but lately if I make a journal it gets sent back with the same thing (Title is misleading to customers). Even if the title is My precious journal or my winter journal. Titles that are simple. I don't get it.

Thanks Nuria. I am going all over the place lately. Can you please tell me, if you have several pen names and want to set up an email list do you have an email address for each pen name or do you use your company email address? I just have to say, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thank you for posting😊😊

Thank you Rachel, I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. Ideally you would have an email list for each pen name, but you could also just have one brand that covers several pen names. For example, imagine you have lots of colouring books under different pen names, you could still have an email list for your brand (you'd name it something to cover all those books), as long as those books have something in common so that you're targeting the same audience. I hope that makes sense, I could make another video about it soon 😀

Thank you very much for explaining that to me. I am following all of your branding videos. Some of the technical aspects I need to re-watch to get my head around, however, you are teaching this old dog new tricks😅. Thank you

Hi Nuria! Great video! That would be very helpful if you could make another video about what to do if a person has several pen names. You mentioned a brand with pen names focused on colouring books as an example targeting a specific audience. Would the landing pages from the email service be used with each pen name and then use the same brand email for all of them?
