I have made so many thousands of books over years.. and never had so much issue uploading books to KDP as i did for one recent Coloring book. The recent KW changes has the KDP bots really jumping on any duplicate words, even common repeat words.. Like Coloring Books and Activity Books in the Title and Sub Title.. and then using the word book or books in your back end.. it has become a bit frustrating and I do THINK that they are also trying to get people to literally GIVE UP.. who are here to make money and not here because they LOVE what they are doing.

same thing happened to me. i updated keywords of my live book and it got blocked. after that amazon kdp is blocking my each new uploading book just within 1-2 hr of uploading.
@@MuhammadMusa-iw2ktI am having this same exact issue. Has been happening on edits to existing titles and new uploads - on EVERY SINGLE BOOK. I just keep emailing them with no support
This is true ma,am, i watch some channels that are advising new publishers to copy books from a free site and paraphrase them and upload on Amazon.
It was really a big issue

i see that amazon blocked books after changing price
That happend to me. After a month I wanted to change a books price, but I didn't eventually, because in the same time I've change my mind. So I did Not make any edit. After minutes, my book was blocked😢... And the answer was as always.. [.... disappointing customer experience]

Don't feel bad. My books have been blocked to 5 adult coloring books.
I think I know why the title and I put my email address inside.
I think that's a no-no But the good thing is your account is not terminated.If you get terminated, it's over.

The issue is, even if u follow all this, if an account has a book blocked before, it'll be difficult for another book that has not gone against this to go live on that account
Like I said, I had a book blocked and haven't had any problems since then.
One of my fantasy romance titles was blocked because of a single slur, a slur in a fake language that has no real-world connection and wasn't all that severe...
Guess I should switch to vampire/warewolf smut; those seem to skate by their arbitrary rules all the time.

I really do not like AI to write entire books, but if Amazon is saying writing books that are similar in subject matter or have the samet title, that is incorrect. If your book has the same title as another book, this is not a copyright infringement. It might be a trademark infringement for very successful books that have made products named after the title, characters, or items, etc. In the book. It is also not a copyright infringement to right about very similar storylines. Like a love triangle that involves two vampire guys and a human girl like The Vampire Diaries (published in the eighties) and Twilight published in the two thousands) of about a wizarding school for children like The Worst Witch series (published in the eighties) and Harry Potter series (began publishing in the nineties).You must copy a certain amount of actual groups of text/sentences for it to be a copyright infringement.
Correct! Titles are not copyrighted! My account was terminated for having a FONT similar to another author's title font!

What to do when you want to revise your book that have been published by a publisher that is no longer in operation, but it is still on the shelf. If the book is sold, I do not get any royalties!
That depends on the contract you had with the publisher.
My books are also getting blocked. They don't clarify anything. They replied with, "After further review, we’ve decided to uphold our previous decision and will not be publishing your title(s) at this time because the content might result in a disappointing customer experience."
I talked with them and they failed to identify the problem. But when they forward my issues with review team, they reply with the same thing over and over again.
I'm sorry to hear that, Amazon can be very frustrating to deal with. Have you tried contacting them over chat? I find that is the best way to get a sensible reply. I hope you can get this resolved soon.
@@TheHomeBoss I contacted them over chat, they couldn't find any issues with my books nor the review team. The review team told me that they will not be publishing my title(s) at this time.

Facing same issue with many of my books and it seems like the bot are sending the same copy paste emails again and again instead of mentioning or clarifying the issue with the book. I got email for removing spine text from my book cover and when I try to upload updated cover It shows that book is blocked, Then why the f..k send email to edit cover image?? amazon is literally in hands of bots now.

There could be many reasons and without knowing more about your books I can't advise. Have you checked everything mentioned in the video? If you are still unsure about the reason, try and talk to Amazon on their chat feature. With emails it's difficult to get a real person to advise, but if you choose their chat help, you get to speak to a real person and you get a better service. Using AI is not a reason for a block, so there must be something else wrong. Good luck!
Yup, I can relate - I had a similar experience... It's because of the free credits. First, your images are public and anybody can download and use them. Second, you don't have Leonardo's permission to use the free credit images for commercial purposes. How they know that they are free credits images? Well, the KDP bots crawl the web and if they come across an image freely available - they block the book.

My book has been block too for reason i still don't understand.

I chatted them up concerning the blocking of my workbook, but they asked me to direct my reply to the review team, saying that they can't help me. Within the past one week , I have sent my reply to them twice, without any reply. Please, what do I do next?
@@michaelimoleme3071 I would persist in contacting them. Otherwise, another option is to ask in a facebook group and see what people suggest the problem could be. Make sure you have followed all the rules about titles and keywords.
I just changed the price of my old book and it got blocked 💔
Sometimes making changes puts your book into review and they might have found something that they didn't notice the first time. Find out why they blocked it, the reason may not be the price change.
Exactly same thing happened to me on Tuesday, i changed my book price, next within 15min book blocked. So, it's the Amazon bot doing this work??

i published a planner with the tittle '2025-2026 monthly planner' with out any subtittle and with out 7 back keywords and it was blocked hhh i will not lost my time in this platform any more
That's because that is not a good title for a book. And you have to fill in your 7 keyword slots.

You only have the years and the words, "monthly planner".
Those would be key words, so you could not use them in a title because they are the ONLY WORDS.
Mam kindly tell me, how many books blocked in kdp lead to account permanently blocked?
I don't think there is a specific number, it depends on the reason for blocking. If somebody is getting a lot of books blocked, then Amazon will think they don't know what they are doing and terminate their account to avoid further problems. My advise to anybody who has had even one book blocked is to stop publishing until they have learned how to publish a book that is within Amazon's guidelines. Don't publish a book if you're not sure what to do. There is a lot of learning to be done before publishing, so many people just take short cuts and publish without studying first.
My ad dashboard is showing $9.8 for this month , while the invoice is showing up $50. Is there anyone else who has been the same thing

What if your book is a cookbook is it okay to include it in your Title
It's ok to include it but there are better ways to do it. And I would put it in the subtitle, not the title.

well this is discuraging... 2 manuscripts completely made, one book 51 thousand words the other 130 thousand words. Hand made, hand written, and realizing formatting is 10x harder than writing the book. Maybe I should just sell on my own lol

What if tell u i Published a book on travel guide and the title is not generic title, i coined my own title which is trademark free , I didn't use subtitles and keywords and amazon still get the bokks blocked i also avoid the title showing on my description and they still blocked its ...this amazon i never understand them at sll
Contact Amazon and find out why. I'm sure there is a reason. Did you write the travel guide from your own experience or was it AI generated?

Yes you can! You just need to declare it in KDP when you upload, but it's absolutely fine. Make sure you edit the images if the AI has produced anything that doesn't look right.

I completely disagree with you, but that's fine. I'm only advising people on what not to do because I know it will affect their KDP account. People are free to make their own choice.

@@Fiction-Frenzy Yes, you'll get a mail that says 'warning' and tells you what you did wrong. It only doesn't really tell you how to fix it. They give you 5 days to fix the book.
