i have milk blush and secret is… blend with fingers! no need for brush everywhere, a lot of makeup artists blend with fingers and it works amazing with fingers.
I saw one of my favorite beauty RUclipsr literally struggle to blend the product but then claimed that it was the best blush she’s ever tried
What changed?
LOVE your honestly. So many beauty gurus give dishonest reviews because they don’t want to removed from PR list or lose $$ .
i was eyeing those milk blushes thinking it would be the perfect summer day blush... well, not anymore 🥲
Check out the jones road lip and cheek sticks tbh. They don't look as sheer in the tube as the milk sticks but they leave a sheer wash of dewy color that lasts all day.
Yes!! Me too!! We should buy Kelly a gift for saving us the cash! 😂. Also this is making me question everyone else because Kelly has never steered me wrong. People have been making it like those jelly blushes are the best thing since sliced bread!
yes lowkey after she swiped the brush a few times, it was able to blend out decently (sorta?) but that was just on bare skin and she barely got it to work… so unfortunate because the staining quality would be a hit for summer
I must be lucky then, no one I follow has reviewed this yet, this was my first take on it aside from the “new release” “purchase or pass” type vids. I don’t really do TikTok though so maybe it is there?
Ive seen another girl review the jelly sticks and love them yet the entire video i could see the pieces of jelly like pilling on her face. Like little clumps of the jelly
Ok... I saw the thumbnail and knew I needed to watch. Friend wanted those milk blushes, and I'm going to share this video with her now. THANK YOU
I was gonna get them !!
Oh maaaan.. why do I see everyone making it seem like it’s blendable as sh*t.. I was hoping it would be a good base blush to make everything on top stay longer! Thank you for letting us know!!
i completely see what you mean with the milk jelly tints. I would also maybe suggest using your fingers to pick up the product with and to apply it onto your cheeks with your fingers to blend it out. I would like to think the warmth of your fingers will help blend and apply the blush!
Your hair looks lovely today Kelly🤩✨️!
Agree!
Your curls look so good here, Kelly!
Thank you!
I mean to be fair Kelly’s hair is always PERFECT 🤩
Lethal Cosmetics has a new BROWN TUBING mascara that I'm dying to hear about!
Never heard of this company 😮
@@joansmith6844Indie brand
This! And Glisten Cosmetics as well. 👀
I thought the Milk blushes looked like the old Tarte blushes, but those weren't actually jiggly. Thanks for clarifying that! And, thank you for saving me some money!
Ahh thank you for being a real one Kelly! I would never give milk my money anyway after their shrinkflation debacle but regardless I know many people were excited about these!
what happened?
@@lolaprescomilk used to have a bigger size for the stick blushes(and maybe bronzers i dont remember) but they got rid of the bigger size and made the mini size the same price as the bigger ones were. Basically they made their products more expensive while having less product
Thanks for reviewing the Milk blushes! I was honestly interested, but after seeing my feed bombarded by all those sponsored videos, with the influencers rolling the blush up, poking the sides, and rolling the product up with the cap still on till it squeezes out... it felt like they told these influencers to sell the squishy texture way too hard 🥲
Lauren Mae Beauty just did a video trying out the new Milk blushes. She underpainted but also applied more blush of top of her foundation using a brush, and it set on top nicely and very pigmented! Maybe that will work?
Ok, I knew the Milk products would not work, but I couldn't think of what they reminded me of until now.
Milk Cooling Water Jelly Tint = "Ring Pop"
Thank you for warning us about the tint! Seen a lot of positive reviews, I wasn’t thinking about buying it anyway bc I try not to do impulse buys. I buy to replenish what I use up, more sustainable that way.
Milk blushes are amazing you don't need the brush your fingers are enough you just never used tints before and the colors are amazing on all different skin tones and you can make it sheen or intense , I am a beginner at makeup and they beginner friendly you just never used tints before
I think your blush looks really cute here! The same goes for your hair. It has this nice naturally wavy/curly look.
Would you consider doing a short on how to achieve that or maybe incorporate it in one of your vlogs?
Love your videos!
I stopped buying the 5 pan palettes from ND because the hinge always breaks on me. Love the colors but if the packaging can't hold up I'm not gonna buy anymore.
Mine just broke too 🥲 ugh
The quality for them is just so subpar it’s not even funny
Idk but the milk jelly tints are soo good they’re really natural and I love it
Yes these water type blushed are difficult to blend and diffuse. I have an undone beauty one and while it is not the same jelly texture as the Milk one, it essentially performs the same: Patchy and quick drying 😔 I think youre better off with a liquid blush from Elf, Rare Beauty or Juvias place.
Okay but what about blending with your fingers for the Milk blushes? Not ideal but I'm curious if anything would change.
Love the Milk Makeup cheek blush stains. All the colours are gorgeous. Yes, once applied, you've got to be quick to blend it. Once you master it, it's beautiful on the cheeks and lasts forever.
Always love your comprehensive reviews and the fact that you include who some of these products might fit better!
This is some quality content. One of the few makeup reviews I have actually watched til the end because you are honest about the products.
You actually give real reviews. Thank you.
Maybe the Milk blush would blend easier using a damp sponge? Maybe the dampness would keep it from drying so fast?
Clearly blended with finger would be best
I was just waiting to order those blushes! So glad I saw your video first since I don’t even splurge on new makeup that often and would have been so disappointed. Also, your hair looks so pretty like this!
I got the JudyDoll Curling Iron Mascara in brown and I really like it
I understand the brown mascara dilemma - the only brown I’ve ever had that ticked those boxes was (randomly) the elf jkissa collab mascara, still think about it fondly… I personally prefer a burgundy/maroon to get this look now, sometimes I layer under brown as well. Personal favorite is the CT push up lashes in dream pop with glossier brown mascara, but L’Oréal voluminous comes in burgundy (I feel like lash paradise came in burgundy? Oh and doesn’t sky high now too??) and going down the bougie route YSL faux cils does too although I’ve gotten the vibe like they may have stopped selling it in the US maybe.
Loving this journey for you though!
Would love for another makeup tip video soon! Question: recommendations for dry, flaky appearing patches that appear despite very hydrating skin prep before application of base product?!
Thank you for this I literally had the notifications on for those milk blushes to come back in stock I’ll pass
I really wanted to like them! But they’re soooo hard to blend :(
@KellyGooch I've seen a couple videos of other people using a brush to apply them and it seemed to help. Can you please try that and let us know
@@beautbyj79she said in the video she tried that and it didn’t work either. Assuming she finally made it sort of work but was able to cover any issues with her foundation after. But yeah, I certainly don’t want to use a product where I have to crack the code of using it 😂
@88kayleigh oops, I must have missed that 🤭. Sad, too, because they really do look pretty, but I agree with you. I'm definitely not interested in something that's overly complicated to figure out
If you want a chocolate mascara, try believe beauty high drama fiber mascara in brown. It's really pretty.
No where around me sells believe bleary anymore … 😮😮
Love your hair here. So pretty. Also like the three categories. Great job Kelly!❤
Hair tutorial please! Love it! Thanks for the warning on the jelly sticks, thought they looked sus 🥸
Thank you, always for your honest review and for saving me money on the milk blush because I was going to order it
Yeah, same for me. I can’t do the milk jelly tint on my cheeks, but I can definitely put it on my lips and it looks beautiful!
I was NOT expecting that Milk review but this is why I trust your feedback sm!!
Any thing that’s a staining cheek product just doesn’t work reminds me of that benitint
OMG thank you for saving me from getting the crazy Milk jelly tint! I thought the original swatches looked so pretty, but I'm not going to bother after seeing how they apply!
... sooo at dollar general they have a brand called ', Believe ' 🎉❤ irs pretty good! esp the brown mascara!❤️
I love the Phlur scents, but my travel size evaporated soooo fast, like within 3 days of purchasing, almost a third of it was gone! I read reviews on Sephora and saw many people also had the same issue, so beware.
Love all your reviews! For the milk blush stick I actually LOVE. I bought one and I honestly want to buy two more. For me I have so much blush that I specifically bought this for my lips. It just does not look like it would blend on the cheeks well and that’s totally okay with me. I love how it looks on my lips and it’s very comfortable and I just top it off with the rhode lip treatment :)
Love these videos. They help me gain a perspective on what to buy and what to skip and save my money on.
I actually love ur blush. It's bolder than normal. That was the first thing i thought when i clicked on the video.
LOVE the hair and earring combo
3:04 It looks good!! Am I the only one who thinks this looks blended out...😭
Love your hair like this ❤
Your hair is gorgeous!!
The ND palette is my most use palette at the moment. Since I got it, I’ve been reaching for it daily. The 2 shimmery shades do look very different on me. I’m very warm tone and medium. The 2 lighter shades are very similar, but both give me a different look. The dark shade I wear as my eyeliner. It’s sooo dark and rich. It’s perfect!
Love this series….❤
I might have a tip for the milk makeup blush thing if you have a spray bottle or setting spray spray the thing that you’re blending it with because then sometimes the formula will like kinda mix in with it ❤
Love the curly hair on you!
The milk blushes apply well with fingers or a synthetic stippling brush (like the elf snall stippling brush). A regular blush brush, like the kind you would use for powders will not work well. Also, I think a lot of people assume it'll blend like a cream., but it is not the same
Kelly, have you tried Colourpops brown mascara? In pictures it looks like it would be a beautiful chocolate brown but since you have so many I was hoping you could show how the color compares to others you have
100% AGREE that the summer fridays lip butter balms are so much better. I was so disappointed with the lip oils, and I bought 2 when they launched, because of my love for the lip butter balms 🥲
i start shaking like an excited chihuahua when i see you've uploaded🤣 i love your style of reviews and the little tidbits of knowledge you offer every now and then. ive been nervous about a possible relationship recently and your advice of "its okay to stay single in your 20s" has helped me re-evaluate the importance i put onto romantic relationships. hope you're having a great day!💕
Colorpop bff mascara has the best brown
Thanks, i really wanted these Milk blushes cause they look like fun but I think I'm fine now ☺️
I sore someone review the milk blushes struggling to use them and they all look the sane shade bar one then she said she liked them i was also baffled ❤
ooooof I was super fascinated by those milk blushes, thanks for helping me save some cash!
girl your hair is so pretty
Your hair looks wonderful ❤
The hair style is pretty 🤩
Thank you! I am enjoying all the reasons not to try and not to buy. I am on a low buy/no buy year. I want everything, all the things to align if I am going to spend.
The romand han all fix mascara is the best brown mascara the color is so good and light, it hold the curl and length all day long and I love it ! Highly recommend ❤
Thanks Kelly, loved this video format. I also appreciate that if you tell us a product you don't like that you'll follow-up with mentioning one you did like in the same category.
BTW, do the Huda powders have any fragrance/scent to them?
Thank you SO much for saving me money on those milk blushes! I was seriously going to buy the peach one😅
Mood ring reminds me of Daisy eau so fresh (the orange flanker) at least at first. I already own the latter, but its a pretty scent :)
I thought it was just me with the brown Better Than Sex mascara disappearing! Literally just disappears after several hours! Also, your hair looks awesome! ❤
The trick for me with the milk blushes is to dab your brush into the blush and then tap it on, it's definitely not the most user friendly, and I find it looks best on more natural days for a popsicle stain effect.
I actually really enjoy the new Skylar perfume! And honestly, I might still buy the new milk release, lol. I am so intrigued by the texture. 😂
Overall.. what is the “best” brown mascara you’ve found? Like you.. I’m looking for a great chocolate brown mascara ❤
Your hair looks amazing! What products/tools did you use?
Please try the Haus Labs foundation and concealer, they look so amazing on the Skin.
I’ve been exploring fragrances lately, and found out I like citrusy scents. So the phlur fragrance, based on the note profile, sounds amazing. Next time I’m at Sephora, I’m going to try it out
I bought all four jelly tints. Don't drag it, dot it. And when you first open it use it for lips. I use it for eyeshadow and lips and get lots of compliments
Your blush looks flawless though
Your hair is beautiful 😍
For 'brown' I tried the Charlotte Tilbury dream pop and the color was great. I just didn't like the $29 price tag and aside from color it wasn't special. I'm looking at Korean and Japanese products now to see if there is something comparable in color but better for volume.
I bought the huda powder mini in pink, the same reason as you, and was excited for it, but I can not stand the smell! I only used it 3 times before decluttering.
Everyone I’ve seen use the milk blushes tapped it in immediately with fingers. I don’t think it’s a brush thing.
YSL Lash Clash brown. Love it.
can you blend the milk blush with fingers? i feel like it would work way better than a brush and it seems like they're supposed to be used that way
Exactly, I thought it was really weird that she was using a brush. I imagine the heat from your fingers is required to blend it.
I picked up the TF mascara, and was disappointed from the beginning. Thank goodness I bought it on sale.
I love your videos ❤
Your earrings are so cute!
Thank you! I thought they were fun for Valentines Day!
I love your nails! They’re gorgeous, but they also look like something I could wear to work without instantly destroying them lol
I’m sorry but the milk blush looks like if Jolly Rancher took their hard jolly ranchers, and made them into a jelly of the same form.
Yeah I really wouldn't fancy rubbing that on my face 😂
They look like forbidden snacks
Yes this!
YSL brown tubing mascara is sooo good
it's crazy how milk makeup has one of the best looking packagings and still don't care about customer's ease of use. whenever i want to buy their lip+cheek product my mind reminds me of the complaints about how mechanism breaks down easily..
I don't have time for anything that has a "learning curve." Hard pass
@@maryeckel9682 i hope they hear us!
Cute earrings, Kelly! And you hair also looks beautiful.
Thank you!
I was soo close to buying the Milk cheek stains thank you for warning me
these remind me of the tarte gel blushes WAY back in the day and those were so hard to blend lol..... so hard.
The only gel blush I've ever liked was the Bonne Bell squeezy tube back in the 1970s. It was sheer but buildable, and they didn't promote it as a double duty lip tint. I miss it.
I love that Natasha pallet. I have been wearing it almost everyday.
It’s so pretty!!
We love an honest queen!
I have the regular milk cream blushes and I feel like I have to almost beat myself up to just blend it out lolll
I'm visually disgusted by that Milk blush! It looks like cheap 2000s Claires makeup. Also seems slimy and wiggly
I was really thinking about getting those milk blushes, thank you for being honest about it
Btw if ppl like the too faced brown one Marshall’s has it for like 13 and I use it every day so if you want to get it check Marshall’s first :)
Have you tried the Charlotte Tilbury mascara in the shade Dream Pop?
