The thing about the kosas sunscreen, it’s $44
For $44 you should not have to jump through hoops to get it to apply correctly and if it’s polling this badly, I don’t know how you’d reapply it without washing and redoing your face (which I know not everyone does but for $44, you absolutely should be able to).
$44 is a lot of money for a sunscreen, especially because if you apply as much as you’re supposed to and only have one going at a time (like I’d imagine most people do) you’ll burn through it really fast. For that money, there should be no finikiness.
The isntree hyaluronic acid water sunscreen things (I can’t remember the exact name but I’ve been using it for years) is less expensive, does not have a tint (which could be light or dark for people) or a cast, is moisturizing enough where I don’t need a moisturizer in addition to it, and applies and reapplies beautifully. It’s around $25, which isn’t cheap but is cheaper than the Kosas.

I actually love the Tarte Tartelette mascara. I have no problems with it. I absolutely HATED the Milani tubing mascara. It was ridiculously wet and took FOREVER to dry.
The Tarte blush was life changing good. The mascara made my eyelashes look clumpy and sad.
Totally agree! Love the Tarte tubing mascara! It comes off perfectly in the shower just like my other tubing mascaras. And yeah the milani one was soooo wet and goopy
Once I started using Japanese/Korean sunscreen, I vowed NEVER to return to American versions! Skincare too!
Colorwow left white residue on my curly hair. It was a no ma’am for me.

I actually love the Milani mascara but I think it needs like a week of drying out and then it’s perfect it just is very runny and liquids at first but like after the tube being open for like a week it dries out a little and becomes so amazing!
I love the tarte mascara. When I use it, I use a mini fan just to make sure it dries, since I blink pretty hard.

I love the eyeshadow sticks from Hard Candy. They wear so well and I love the colors even tho they are kinda basic. They don’t crease and are so easy to use and blend. They also don’t fade.
the tarte mascara doesnt tube too well BUT it looks pretty and doesnt make AS much of a mess to remove as other mascaras so i love love love it
I love the Tarte mascara but I get that not every product works for every person. There are plenty of products that people love that don't work for me, like almost all primers that pill on me.
omg I HAVE TO HAVE a primer, like my makeup pills without it lol. it’s so interesting finding out peoples different preferences (THE TARTE MASCARA IS MY FAVORITE BTW)

I also bought the Wow Dreamcoat and was so disappointed. It didn't eliminate frizz and left a waxy coat on my hair. I didn't like the Milani tubing mascara either, so I bought a couple of tubes of the Thrive mascara when they had the Black Friday sale. Great video. Have a good weekend.
I actually *love* the Jones Road Bronzer -- I use it almost every day I wear makeup to add just a splash of color and warmth back to my face, and have found that it works best to warm it up first between my fingers and just gently tap it on. It ends up making a noticeable different to my complexion but in a subtle, no-makeup makeup kind of way, and blends perfectly into my face and wears wonderfully on my skin. I think the problem with Jones Road is that so many of their products require people to use them in maybe a different way than we're used to (e.g., their foundation and miracle balm as other examples). Their products are great if you figure out how to work with them, but it's probably to their own detriment that so many of their products have such a learning/adaptation curve :/
I honestly have never had a problem with the jones road bronzer and was shocked the first time I used it at how SEAMLESS it was!! It looked so natural and smooth I’m shocked anyone would have a problem with it
For the color wow, I've used the normal strength one and never really noticed a difference, and I live in a pretty humid climate. But I went to the beach and didn't use it one of the days and immediately noticed a difference with how much it fought against the humidity and moistire from hanging out at the beach. I love it for that reason and it definitively is a game changer!

I've never had that problem with the Tartelette mascara. I've gone through a few tubes of it and it's always removed in tubes for me. It's my favorite. I have yet to try the Milani.
You can always use the Koses on the backs of your hands. They need SPF too. 😊
I love the Tarte Tubing Mascara. It is the best mascara I have ever used. I does come off in tubes and very easily for me.

It’s wild how products work so differently for people. Especially skin care. I actually love the glow recipe blur drop primer and feels it helps keep my makeup on longer. I do feel my skin just loves glow recipe products though. I’m so sorry you had a bad reaction to it. Not fun to deal with! Xoxox

I haven't tried the extra strength Colorwow but i do love the regular one . I have good results just adding some after my leave in i dont really follow the directions and i live at the Beach in SC its humid and hot AF in the summer so i definitely saw results with it maybe not the results they claim but some results. I totally agree with the rest of the stuff i have tried from this list though.

Essence has probably the worst baked highlighter formulas in my opinion. I have their highlighter palette at home and the formula is chunky as hell 😅 Catrice has a better highlighter formula imo.

Concrning tubing masara, i lov the Tarte one. I have very oily skin and i don't end up with panda eyed with it AND it gives a lot volume. The Milani one i hated as well. So far, it's the only mascara that straigthened my lashes, all formulas included. When i tried it, i couldn't beleive it, i never saw my lashes like that. I threw it away.
i was also SO pumped about the essence liquid blush tint thingy! swatched it in store recently and agree with everything you said. impossible to blend and not even a cute shade; just that pH adjusting hot pink. much prefer benetint 😅
but the essence baby got blush blush sticks are excellent!

I so enjoy these kinds of videos! Well, I really like all of your content ❤ and I trust your opinions on products and whether they’re worth trying or not. Sometimes I will still give something a go if it’s a less expensive product but if it’s higher end or even a more expensive drugstore (I’m looking at you L’Oréal 😳) I will skip on it. Thank you for spending your $ so we don’t have to 💕 some of the products I have tried and totally agree with you! The one that has me concerned is the Milani mascara. I bought a tube of the Thrive over the summer and I loved it! Well that has been thrown out for awhile now. I haven’t repurchased it, but I saw a RUclipsr saying that this Milani mascara was a dupe for the Thrive so I got a tube of it. I’m sure it was either on sale or I got some sort of discount bc I’ve made it my mission to never pay full price for makeup or skincare. It’s ALWAYS on sale somewhere, or I can use points or a coupon or something lol. I haven’t tried it yet though. I’ve been using my Urban Decay Perversion mascara which is my absolute favorite, but I’ve been wanting to try the Milani one soon. Im hoping for the best but will manage my expectations. And, hey, if I don’t like it, it didn’t cost an arm and a leg and I know it will come off easily if nothing else right? Lol im looking forward to you ‘best of’ videos 🎉 I hope you’re keeping warm down in NYC. Im up north here and it was 24° this morning when my granddaughter got on the bus. Never tried a tubing mascara other than the Tarte. It was my Ulta birthday gift. After I tried it I was thinking you lied about the tubing mascara removal process because it was not happening for me 😂! I like the effect and it’s long lasting on me so I’ll use up the tube. I’ve got so much mascara through samples and other things that I don’t think I’ll be purchasing any for long time

I usually prefer mascaras that give me volume, and length, and make my lashes look so full. The mascara that I used at the time was Lashblast from Covergirl. I’ve mainly used Covergirl mascaras as well as even one e.l.f mascara back in 2014, Better Than Sex mascara throughout 2015-2016, and as of now….Ilia mascara….I have the mini version from the Sephora birthday gift, and the regular size that my niece got me.

I find it so interesting that the Kossas sunscreen gives you such a hard time. I have a terrible time finding Sunscreen that works, and this one worked perfectly for me. It never pilled and looked BEAUTIFUL under my Dior Backstage. In fact, it was my go-to combo all summer. It's funny, I did not want to like it because it was expensive. Go figure. I guess that's why brands can make so many different products. It worked well with the Cereve Moisturizer. I did try the Hero Sunscreen on your recommendation and I LOVE that too, and it is a bargain.

I 100% agree with the tarte mascara!! I went to wash my face and said, did I get a bad batch?? Then I realized, no it's just the way the product is. Super bummed.

For me Skin79 sunscreen with SPF 50++ is the best ever. Never peeled my makeup and amazing protection. I use it every day with or without makeup and swear by it ❤
People who have used tubing mascara before, I am super interested in getting one. But I have super oily skin, like after wearing makeup the natural oils on my face remove most of my makeup within working hours. I am super scared that it will just fall off on my face during the day. I am worried I will have splotches of eyelashes on my face, which is worse than under my eyes and my eyelids getting black from mascara coming off!
I also hated the Tarte tubing mascara! I only wear tubing and this one was so awful to get off!

The tarte tubing mascara actually came out the end of 2022 because it was in one of the holiday packs last year with the 3 mascaras because i got it for xmas 2022 unless it was released in canada first
My worst makeup of 2023: the elf power grip. Made my makeup look so awful every time I used it.
The elf Jennifer Coolidge set. I’ve realized too late peach shades on the lips look awful on me. Make my teeth look yellow and skin tone off.
My best: wet n wild tinted moisturizer. Makes my face makeup look sooo good.
Mac lip liners tried for the first time and I love the creamy formula but not too creamy still love the colourpop and nyx ones though.
Rare beauty eyeshadow stick. Makes my eyeshadow step so easy and blends so fast.
Mac stack mascara tried from a set and I really like how it looks on the lashes
I notice tinted sunscreens always pill on me also gripping primers they do the same
The tartlette tubing ist my holy grail mascara 🤣🤗 but it‘s funny that a lot didn‘t like 🤣
I have Slavic roots on my dad’s side, and inherited under eye circles. Thus, I prefer tubing mascara, at least on the bottom lashes. I bought the Tarte in early 2023 (not even realizing it was a new launch). It worked fine, and I used it for a long time. It was just somewhat expensive compared to cheaper competitors that work just as well, so I haven’t repurchased. (Honestly, the ULTA brand tubing mascara was satisfactory, as well.)
My tubing fail was sadly the Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes! I loved Lash Princess, so thought this would be a hit. Nope - not for me. Smudges and flakes on my under eyes.
I don’t wear a lot of powder under my eyes because it dries the area out, and exaggerates lines. Thus, my face is generally on the glowy side. The Bye Bye Panda Eyes may work for people who don’t use emollient products near their eyes, but it seems like my facial oil just wants to take it right off.
Literally the only mascara that has ever worked for me.

Kelly, I just received my first sigma eyeshadow product yesterday (mini enchanted pallette) and am not sure if this is normal for their eyeshadow, especially given the good things I've heard about it! It isn't performing how I expected... the mattes seem very dry and "powdery" as in they're messy to use and get powder everywhere rather than smooth and silky like I'd expect in good eyeshadow powder. Also, every shade looks gorgeous and vivid in the pan but muted and impossible to build up on the skin. Since you're familiar with sigma shadows... could I have gotten a bad batch or something?! I used the ulta matte eyeshadow primer underneath.

I was so excited for that tarte tubing mascara and I hated it!! I need a tubing formula for my lower lashes. I can’t trust any other kind of formula there. This smudged and flaked horribly!!

👎🏼👎🏼 WOW Extra Strength Dream Coat! I was hopeful as the original works well but the extra strength version made my already curly, frizzy hair more frizzy. Luckily I bought a mini and it went directly in the garbage.
