  • This is a traditional way to work with wood and transform it into a useful tool for bushcraft, camping or just cut wood around the house. It takes me about 10 hours to make a buchsaw like this after I get the two wood pieces of 60x5x2.8cm. I use Fagus sylvatica for the wood frame, paracord 550 for the tensioning, connector bolts for secure the blade in frame and the blade (53 cm long) for the saw I consider is right for both, green and death wood.
I started to work with wood, especially with hand tools, in October 2020 during the quarantine. Mostly I make this foldable bucksaws and sell them.
Thanks for watching the video and feel free to ask me anything about my project.

Not much of a “how to”

Your working in poor light and too far away for anyone to see exactly what you are doing. You are also silent. Not explaining what you are using or doing. If we wanted to hear music we would turn on the radio.

Nice work, made me look away every time you put you hand in line of cut for a slipped chisel/saw though🫣
