- Bruce Zawalsky, Author of Canadian Wilderness Survival, reviews the Dark Walnut Original Bucksaw with its optional Olive Drab Saw N' Axe Sling. He shows off this amazingly well build hand-made Canadian Bucksaw. Bruce explains its features and talks about its excellent Swedish-made Bahco Dry Wood Blade. I am on the list for one.
What a beauty piece of gear.
Indeed
Really great saw and this concept has a lot of worth! I have mine often with me on canoeing journeys
They are great for canoe tripping
It's a lovely saw! I think I'll stick with my Silky Katanaboy and Bigboy but as an heirloom you can use that's a beauty. Thanks for the review!
Absolutely
Great info Bruce! I have a question for you regarding summer pests. What do you use or recommend in repelling or dealing with summer time gnats/black flies. They are so bad out on hikes and camping. Off and Cutters doesn’t do anything for them. Thanks!
Bug face net and long sleeve shirts and pants work, but is hot so 90% DEET repellent also work
@@BruceZawalsky Thank you Bruce!
