- A small but sweet Happy New Year Kiln Opening :) And it is probably "Kiln Opening #8"...but who's counting, or counting correctly anyway, probably not me lol!
I mention Ancient Iron by Mayco...but it is COYOTE
For some reason my video is pretty dark and has different volume levels at times...I had trouble exporting it so maybe the quality changed. Every video is a learning experience for sure!

I think we like similar colors! I’ve seen the reds show up when using power turquoise with another glaze, especially with flux. I loved Sorcerer stone is one I don’t have yet.😊❤

Ps. Sorcerers stone is very interesting! One worth having first layering..just takes a bit to figure out how much to use and with what glazes it runs a lot 😁

I like that Oolong Matt! Was going to purchase Oolong Gloss, but now thinking the matt might be better! Wondering if the Coyote Ancient Iron might run less at a lower temp? Pretty star earrings, btw! Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!
Thanks Joanne! I think if I had put 3 coats of the Oolong Matt I would have gotten more of the green to come out but it’s a nice glaze. The ancient iron does run less at lower temp but I usually only use 2 coats so should have known better! I might add another glaze and refire a little cooler to see what happens 👍🏻
