    Great Video, Fabulous Artist and wonderful pottery. I liked his 'kama' as well; I tried my hand at throwing pots when living in Japan but couldn't continue for lack of time. Still it was a valuable experience. Gaman, gaman, soshite motto gaman ga hitsuyo.

    Is the soil that he uses all clay? I didn't see him sifting to clean the soil from stones or impurities

      Yes he does and his father is a potted in bizen too so he has access to a small wood kiln too I think

      Debatable but some do find beauty in imperfection. What it does is add an artistic flair and personality to the piece while subverting the viewers expectation. Maybe even intended to mirror the human experience.
