@@MikeBelloMusic Yes Absolutely Brother I think you are doing a great Job Your Content is Legendary and so enjoyable to watch And trust me I’m a New Fan 💪 ❤️ Blessings Brother 🙏
I watch a lot of these home studio setup videos. This has to be the first time I’ve seen someone using a Roland Quad Capture audio interface in their setup. We’ve got a few things in common. The quad capture was the first audio interface I ever had. Bought it around 2011 or 2012. Only mic I had at the time was the bue yeti pro. I only used that interface 4 or 5 times for just a few minutes at a time. I was always too busy working. I got the octacapture in 2015. Used it maybe once to test a microphone. I still have the quad, but I don’t use it for anything. The octacapture I use just for my hs8’s. I actually have the korg kaosilator plus, but it’s not hooked up. I don’t even know what wires it needs to be hooked up. I’ve had it for maybe 8 years and I’ve never really used it. I worked as an over the road truck driver and I stayed out all the time, so I’ve just been buying gear online & having them sent home. I had the hs8’s for about two years before I even hooked them up. And my computer processor is a 5900x, so similar again to yours as well. Do you have a video showing how you hooked all this stuff up?
"Wow, this home studio setup is awesome. 🎶🎬 The attention to detail and creativity in the design. Love the dedication put into crafting this space. This tour has definitely given me some great ideas for my own setup. Thanks for sharing 👏🏻🎵" and oh yea that kp3 is a slept on piece of gear. Love it
Thanks so much and I'm glad you like it! I'm so glad you were able to get some inspiration from it, feel free to ask any questions if you need more details to use for your own setup!
Great vid man! Thanks for taking the time to create this. Looking forward to learning and sharing music knowledge. I have an Apollo Twin interface (amazing preamps) with Ableton and a Neumann TLM-102 Microphone which sounds amazing on vocals.
WOW!!! Just found your channel!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Some Ikea furniture is amazing, as I recently bought myself a sit/stand gaming desk and it's fantastic to get the chest upright, open and allow breathing to be done correctly. Have my Novation midi controller, KRK monitors, 21:9 monitor, custom built AMD Ryzen 9, 64GB ram, 6TB storage drive with samples, Universal Audio Apollo Twin interface, Ableton Suite, Yamaha Motif ES6 and Korg Collection 4 plug-in pack!! Neighbours aren't impressed! LOL Oh well, life in Canberra! LOL
Thanks! So glad you're enjoying the videos! I'm trying to get into a schedule of more regular uploads so you have loads of new content coming if you check back regularly. Sounds like you have an awesome setup! Do you use a lot of sample libraries to need that 64GB of ram?
@@MikeBelloMusic I have a tendency to transfer any audio files into RAM for quicker loading/reading to ensure to reduced delay due to the hard drive spinning up from being in sleep mode. I currently also have 240GB of samples alone, and have recently purchased nearly 15GB from F9, so having a field day getting back into it all. Problem is (if you can call it that) enjoying it so much, not shutting down the computer til about 3am every morning lol
Haha I know that problem too well! Yeah that's a huge amount of samples, what plugin are you using all those samples in? Or are they just wav files that you're bringing into the project?
1:51 Bro can you plse make an individual video on how you tight your dual arm monitor mount and show the exact arm or give us the link so we can purchase that product
Hi, what were the leds lights and controller you used? I'd love to pick different color ambience in my room lol... Also, for the RME, do you connect it via digital to the roland quadcapture? What ASIO driver are you using in cubase, rolands?
The LED lights are just generic ones from amazon, there's many different brands depending what country you are in but they all work the same. With the RME, the quad capture goes into the RME via 1/4 inch jack. And the driver I use is the RME Asio driver
I tried the same setup but the lack of haptic feedback on the touchscreen was more of an issue than I expected, some UI elements were too small, and windows opening on the wrong display was a constant headache. Ended up with SSL controllers in place of the lower display.
here are some question bro! as you said using 10years old interface are rest of products also old which thing you suggest to buy which are advance and better in market today to setup new home professional studio ,,can you list the products you used with links so ican check them easily one by one . have you used mpc ?which things it can replace the things you used in you studio ?
This video is bloody brilliant. Quick question, If someone wanted to use the Roland Quad Capture, what style of audio interface would he need to receive the signal to the headphones? Also, 2K is a steap price for the RME ADI-2 AD/DA, would you know any brands that dont break the bank ? Haha cheers.
Thanks, glad you liked the video! The Roland Quad Capture is an all-in-one audio interface. It can receive the signal from your instruments and send the audio from your computer back out to your headphones or speakers. The RME is not necessary, I just use it because the audio processing is higher quality than the quad capture and I wanted the highest quality possible in my setup. I used only the Roland Quad Capture for a long time though before I bought the RME
The brand is North Bayou, I don't know if that exact brand is available in all countries but if you search 'dual monitor stand' on google you will find many
The mixing console is just the mix console window from Cubase, I have moved the entire mix console window onto the second monitor which is just a normal Acer IPS monitor
I have a brand new monitor setup that I'll be showing off with all the details in my next video! Yes I noticed the deifference with the ADI 2 pro, especially when using my headphones
Let me know if you enjoyed this video, and if you'd like me to do more "in the studio" videos like this! And of course, feel free to ask any questions!

What brand/model is the bottom display that has the mixing console on it?
It's just a standard Acer IPS monitor. IPS monitors are good for viewing on angles so any brand of IPS monitor should work fine
what is the mixing software your using on the bottom screen? Thanks
That's the MixConsole window from Cubase
how do you have the bottom screen mountedand slanted like that?

So both the top and bottom monitor are connected to the same stand, it has 2 monitor arms and the bottom one is just tired back on an angle
Actual name? Please

Hi. I am intrigued with Ur studio building tech ur equipment acoustic set up head phones speakers etc seating Adi2 Pro. Interest!!!
Glad to hear it! I'm planning to do another studio build video soon where I'll try to build my own studio desk
just looked up the RME ADI-2 pro, and there is 2 inputs on the back in the picture ?
is it a desk on top of a desk? cheers
Yeah the desk behind is overlapping the wider desk in front
Hello I would like to know what is and where can I get what your using for your mixing console ?
The mixing console is just the mix console window from Cubase, I have moved the entire mix console window onto the second monitor which is just a normal Acer IPS monitor
whats the bottom monitor ? what size is it? When u switched to ADI 2 pro did u notice an improvement in D/A monitoring quality? lol

Which dual monitor arms did you use for your setup?
How many inches is a monitor?
This is a simple but yet an expensive and impressive studio setup. I've seen this video about a year ago, wtaching it now, still impressed 🔥👍🏽
What touchscreen is?
What app are you useing
I use Cubase for music production
how to make hair style like yours? what is the name of this hairstyle?

But key commands there really useful
Cause us as audio engineers we wanna make everything as easy as possible and make everything easy so we can get that sound we want as fast as possible that’s how audio engineers work they want number 1 a good workflow number 2 they want a good setup in the studio number 3 they want a good mix template

Like me in my recording studio I’m always changing stuff and always improving everything
But I always always change stuff to for content
