I wore a 5600 from 1994-2014 when I got my first smart phone. I wore it 24/7 shower, sleeping, swimming etc. Every picture of me had the watch in it. For my 41st birthday I‘m having my wife buy me this exact yellow 5600! It brings back so many happy memories, and I was there when those colors were popular! Im very excited! I was 12 when my dad bought me a black Casio 5600 just like he’d always worn, and that he’d bought for my older brothers when they were finally old enough to be responsible enough to wear such an expensive watch (I think it was $50 or more back then which was a ton of money at the time). Hello Chris. I gave a 12 yo nephew a DW5600 a year ago as a gift. He loved it, but already, the battery is dead. Since he lives 1000 miles away, I can’t readily replace the battery. This year I gave him the Solar GWM5610, so hopefully it won’t go dead. I think he got real happy lighting up the watch with the EL and killed the battery. Randy-Illinois.
That's great! Basically you can't go wrong with a G-Shock. Both models you chose are awesome. It's weird the battery died so quickly, but the solar will keep beating for a loong time. Have a good day Randy :)
I have the 6900 version and I really like it, although some drunk tool on the underground told me that it made me look like I live in my grandmother's basement :). Bollocks to him. I still like it.
F him, G-Shocks are awesome if you wear them with casual outfits or workwear and not a suit like I've seen many times... 6900 is cool, but much bigger so I cannot fit it on my skinny wrist. Haave a good day and enjoy your G-Shock ;)
I have the DW5610Y-9ER in my vast watch collection..... I have 6 Casio G-Shocks in my watch collection and I love them all. I really love the colour Yellow also. The Casio DW5610Y-9ER is superb. The red on the screen goes well with the yellow colour also. I have 25 Casio watches in my watch collection ..Casio are my favourite watches.. Thank you for this video. Does the buckle on this version smaller than regular dw5600?

@@panato_watches I have several models and this one is slightly smaller than the rest. The buckle is smaller, like the one on the dw5900.

There is another that is even better. The Casio g shock gmas2100 or the casioak mini
If you like casioak it's better I suppose, but I'm not a huge fan of that design. I prefer that classic brick shape of 5600 series
