I 100% Agree with you ..The "Beep" every hour is just annoying ..So pleased you can disable this feature on the watch. Long live Casio.
This is exactly why I got this watch in first place: It's the least bulky watch from G-shock models! And I'm loving it! I can use it for almost everyday situations!
Apparently a Casio service center can replace the adjust button to a longer one so you can access it more easily while maintaining the integrity of the casing. Thanks for the video ✌️
The beep feature is useful for a person like me. I'm a auto tech and i use this feature to keep track of time. Without having to look at the watch while working with both hands.
Take a look at the GW-5600, all black on a combi bracelet. Solar powered, multi band 6 and Bluetooth so you can set all the timers/alarms from you phone and even find your phone by the lower right button. Very much worth the extra £ for what you get in my opinion :)
Im watching this on 17th December 2022 and just ordered this very model ... I haven't owned a G-Shock before so this is going to be my first. I like it for the black stealthy vibe, it's uncomplicated and slimmer than other G-Shocks. I have another watch which is as chunky as a G-Shock and find I cannot wear it comfortably beneath a slim fit cuff, so usually err towards slim watches. Anyway, always wanted a G-Shock so am happy to have selected this one ... I'll know if it was a good choice after I get it.
Haha it's funny you mention that because I beleive there are some marvel themed ones in production, might be thinking of Citizen though I'm not entirely sure
I have this watch. You mentioned a crackling noise in the alarm signal/buzzer. I experience that too now and then. It's kind of rare, but it happens. After my first battery replacement, the crackling alarm signal was completely gone for months (and then it started to appear again). Therefore I suspect the issue is either due to low battery, or intermittent connection. I did now shower with my watch, but expose it to a similar treatment, perhaps once a month, by degreasing the display under running luke warm water and a little bit of liquid hand soap.
The recessed buttons are a deal-breaker. I returned the DW5600E-1V because I literally could not press the adjust button, and the other three buttons had to use my fingernail, which is not as ergonomic as being able to press them with the flesh of my finger, the way I can with my DW290-1V. This ain't nitpicking; this is a major issue, especially for someone like me who intends to use the stopwatch on a regular basis.
The back screws are highly appreciated, I have a few watches with security screws and it's a pain... I have the same watch and love it, made the average working person to a guy in a suit all day... can't beat a Casio watch
Nice review 👌🏽 .. just got this watch yesterday. I had the new era edition dw-5600 black and gold and i lowkey like this one better cause of the negative display
This is just about the only gschock appeals to me at all. The rest are just so big they look comical to me. I tried on a mudmaster just for the heck of it even though I hated the look of it, but just the sheer size and shape was laughable looking on me (7.5" wrists). I feel like you need to have arms like the rock to wear most of the gshock line. Love the negative display for looks but practically not so much, so if they made a standard display I'd probably snag one at some point. I guess I just prefer the older style of smaller mens watches.
Same here Jay! The reason why I love wearing watches is for the aesthetic of it and the Casio g shocks currently look so laughably big and takes up 99% of people wrists unless like you said the guy is huge like the rock.

Thin, but wide and long. I love it, it's got great legibility and functionality, but it sometimes gets in the way with long sleeves. I want to try the square, maybe it's gonna be a bit more flush, despite being a bit thicker.
Great looking watch, but the top-left button sitting so flush with the edge of the watch was a total deal breaker for me, I could barely press the Adjust button without using a thin screwdriver, hence I had to send it back. Hi, try and find a trusted reseller online (Amazon does have some good ones from time to time). You could always try buying from a different Amazon region if it let's you, depending on where you are in the world. Otherwise check out Chrono24, lots of used but you can still find new watches on there. Hope that helps you get started!
That is the one thkng i hate about G shocks is they are too dam big.. I love my 5610u but wish they made more 38-42mm watches also wish they made thinner watches so a sleeve can go over it
Trying to buy one of these online in Australia. I keep seeing them with different codes. some have the code ending in -1E or 1DR. I know the general model is dw5600bb but does it matter if there is different letters/numbers at the end? Thanks
Haha thanks man! I would also have to say i bet this one is thinner, I can't say for sure as I've never handled a GA2100 unfortunatley but those octagon cases tend to be on the larger side for g shocks, hope that helps at least! 👊
Can someone please confirm this: Everywhere I look, the DW5600BB is listed as having a case diameter of 43mm. According to this video, he measures it at 39.4mm? Which is correct? I’m looking for a small G shock and if it’s really 39.4mm I’ll definitely be buying this.
The case is a little different at different points so there’s some variability in the measurements online. Also side to side and corner to corner will be different measurements also mind you.
I like how this guy (at least in this video) is straight to the point, yet thorough and quick all at the same point.

Absolutley! You're only a little bit smaller than mine and I have lots of extra holes to tighten it
Thank you very much.
@@Sachin_Choudhary7 my pleasure, thanks for asking!
so you chop off (your words, not mine) the sides of the watch, but your advice is to not do so *because* it may lead to speaker issues lol ...noted!
Correct I’m just letting you know what I personally did because I have fat finger 🤣, I’m not entirely sure if that lead to it but it’s possible
Where can i purchase a authentic dw5600bb alot of fakes selling on Amazon at this moment in time
Hi, try and find a trusted reseller online (Amazon does have some good ones from time to time). You could always try buying from a different Amazon region if it let's you, depending on where you are in the world. Otherwise check out Chrono24, lots of used but you can still find new watches on there. Hope that helps you get started!
I'll never buy another one, nor would I ever recommend to anyone to buy such a negative display. The good one is on the Rangeman B1000.
Hi what exact model of DW6000bb is this watch?
Hey Prashant! This is the '-1' model I believe, it's one of the older ones for sure I bought it about 4-5 years ago, hope that helps!
I love my 5600bb perfect for 70bucks
Yup! 70 bucks well spent!
Hmmm thanks decided not to get this model the blackout is cool but heard so much that it's hard to read.
Personally I find it's only hard to read in bright light, but the backlight button is thankfully quite good!
would this fit a 9 inch wrist?
Absolutley! Id say most G shocks would
That is the one thkng i hate about G shocks is they are too dam big.. I love my 5610u but wish they made more 38-42mm watches also wish they made thinner watches so a sleeve can go over it
Great looking watch
Yessir, thanks for watching Glen!
Damn beats the 5000, looks more clean and simple.
Do you guys think it’d fit well on a 6 inch wrist?
I think it would look perfect boss 👊
@@WatchTWM thanks man, nice video and new sub.
@@samc0321 welcome to the club Sam! Happy to have you here boss 🙏
Trying to buy one of these online in Australia. I keep seeing them with different codes. some have the code ending in -1E or 1DR.
I know the general model is dw5600bb but does it matter if there is different letters/numbers at the end? Thanks
I think the last letters/numbers are to show different colors on the watch, display and different kind of bracelets. The watch is the same
Dr means distant region
I wonder if I could get away with this one as a formal watch?
I was wondering how bulky this one is compared to the ga2100. Loved the dbz clip in there.
Haha thanks man! I would also have to say i bet this one is thinner, I can't say for sure as I've never handled a GA2100 unfortunatley but those octagon cases tend to be on the larger side for g shocks, hope that helps at least! 👊
Im confused between dw5600e 1 and this
You shouldn't cut the plastic, if you find it hard to get to the button then this watch might not be for you, no offence.
Ok is it me or this guy's voice is like a symphony of Viking gods preparing for battle????
Just ordered mine for $53
Such a bargain watch you'll love it
Thia or fossils ch2647?
I would say definitley this one Richard!
F-91W is still king
Agreed! And will always be king!
But now we also have the gms5600sb… dimensions similar to f91w (which I have obviously)… maybe that’s the right pick today?
Can someone please confirm this: Everywhere I look, the DW5600BB is listed as having a case diameter of 43mm. According to this video, he measures it at 39.4mm?
Which is correct?
I’m looking for a small G shock and if it’s really 39.4mm I’ll definitely be buying this.
The case is a little different at different points so there’s some variability in the measurements online. Also side to side and corner to corner will be different measurements also mind you.
