This has instantly become my favourite overlanding channel. I came across your youtube link on the 4x4 community page. Only places you may have problems is some of the river crossings where there was deep sand. Thank you so much for your support and please send my regards to your wife.

I like the fact tt u took the adventure route from West Nicholson touching Zvishavane road 🛣️ dodging the tarred road passing thru Gwanda and Mbalabala towns. Fantastic episode Bruce .. you did a fantastic job of making a difference to one’s life .. how wonderful it is to see their happiness shining through their smiles .. beautiful people of Zimbabwe.. and a beautiful country .. .. hamba gashle Shamwari ! Stay well !
Thank you so much. You are probably right but I have just discovered the “block” button and will be using it for all the negative stuff. Thank you very much for watching and commenting.
Great video Bruce. Zimbabwe is so beautiful. Love the look on the kids faces. We took school supplies and soccer balls to a school in Livingstone. Great feeling.
Lived in Kwekwe in the early 90s. I was hardly 10 but I remember many a number of fishing trips to Sebakwe with my dad and brothers. Passed through Kwekwe with my own kids and took them to the house where I grew up. Will certainly take my boys to Sebakwe for fishing in the near future!
Just awesome video Bruce and an amazing initiative. Sitting here in London (I’m from CT) and thinking how you can expand Chasing Smiles. I’ve always thought of going around collecting my sons’ and his friends football shirts (sorry, can’t bring myself to calling it soccer 😂) and getting these down to you to hand out to the kids in Botswana, Zim and SA. I see the kids here go through brand new premier league jerseys every season and growing out of them so I think a well planned collection drive here can bring in hundreds of awesome quality original Nike, Adidas, Puma etc shirts… I’m going to see what can be done !! Following all your adventures already! Will revert
Tears flows, thx so much, l appreciate what you have done Mr Bruce, l wish you can even travel around Matabeleland and boost them, thumps up bro and thx to the clever coaches of Midlands region
The first boys you gave the soccer ball reminded me of how happy I was when some cyclist who were passing through our village in chipinge town taking a break gave us a ball, yooh the excitement was too much unfortunately it was stolen after a few days 😂 I cried a river🤣
Mwana wevhu, this is really meritorious. Keep up the good work! oh and Bruce did you get a haircut ? hehe @8:39 , its Mombe not mombie. it has to sound as Mo-mbeh.
Hi Vlad. Yes I got a haircut just before the trip. Much cooler as in temperature and nothing else :) Thank you for correcting my "Mombe" mistake. Mean wevhu - absolutely and what a compliment thank you Thank you for watching and commenting its truly appreciated
Just after Muzhwi dam you turned left to drive across Ngezi river. Then 8km on that road is our farm 5 km b4 arriving at Tokwe Primary school. Well done Bruce. You are the 1st to do a documentary about this area Thankyou very much
Thanks for the awesome work Bruce, Your influence and impact is way more than you can imagine. I think of the ripple effect of these good deeds that bring smiles in the lives of the kids/people you meet and us who watch. I am inspired!
Thank you Farai, really happy to read your comment. Your comment and others like it are why I keep going. I have no agenda and the only aim I have is to create a bit of happiness in areas where life is tough. Thank you so much for your message and support. It’s honestly appreciated sir.

Awesome memories. Thank you for sharing them and for the support
Will revert
Thanks so much Robbie. Yes kids in our worlds sometime don’t realise how lucky they are.

The first boys you gave the soccer ball reminded me of how happy I was when some cyclist who were passing through our village in chipinge town taking a break gave us a ball, yooh the excitement was too much unfortunately it was stolen after a few days 😂 I cried a river🤣
Haha shame man. Hopefully they still have their ball
Thank you for sharing the memory and for watching
Thanks for Bruce for everything. I would like, however, to point out that Kadoma is not in Midlands; it's in Mashonaland West Province.
Thanks very much.

I am sitting in my campervan in the south of Tasmania, Australia. I have a longing to return to South Africa and this video confirmed it. Thank you for both the work you are doing and returning me to the "Bosveld". Hopefully, if I return, I can get more involved with this kind of work. I have travelled Australia flat now. Done lots of off-road in a Merc Sprinter 4x4. Time for me to move on...

Hi Bruce we visited Sobukwe National Park in September 2022, we were also thr only folks at the park and Park ranges were very surprised to see visitors. We decided to camp right on the waters edge on the far bank...stunning setting!
Awesome. So you were there a few weeks before me. Did you fish there? Would be interested to hear about the fishing as I would imagine it to be very good but I am no expert.
