This brought tears to my eyes bro. As a Barbadian born with African Ancestry I feel the spiritual and physical connection to Mama Africa more and more everyday. Thank you Wode Maya for continuing to wake up those of us in the diaspora and for reigniting that flame that burns within us. Maya was very brave to walk bare footed as well to go up there. The last time i walked up the top mountain is when i was in grd 4. We use to fetch grass to build the roof top of the house. It was in Gwanda right after Matobo. The place rounded with mountains all over. That was very brave of you Maya. Well done sir
What a breathtaking environment. Could imagine sitting on the rocks for hours trying to take it all in. The guide spoke about the tree fighting to live compared to humans who at times want to give up - strong analogy.
