I certainly agree with you! A solar water pump for the natural slide if its dry season, the pond/pool - I know it’s at its natural state but even a net in the pond/pool to help filter the landing area of those sliding down (then the rest of the pond/pool can remain at its natural state), grass cleared and a few updates here and there I really do believe it can be revived to its former glory! 🎉 I think I want to visit and see this place for sure and see where to go from there!
Thank you Bruce for sharing this video. Keep it up!

There are some petty crimes in the congested part of town but nothing violent like SA,
Harare is generally safe unless you’re looking for trouble,
Every big city in the world has safety issue in certain areas, Harare is much safer than a lot of big cities in the developed world like USA and UK.

@@OverlandingwithBruce I'm being positive. I saw you are struggling with heights. Look at the positives and it will help you bridge the gap. I enjoy your videos. I'm ex Zim farmer who lost my home, farm and livelihood. Brings back good and bad memories. But the harsh reality is, the people are suffering in Zim. Everyday is a struggle to survive. It is a beautiful country that is mourning and it is sad to see.

No denying people are battling-people are battling everywhere not just in zim.
I’m sorry for your loss but looking at the positive side it could be worse if you were in one of the current war torn countries. We have all lost and lost big, but I cannot do anything about that and cannot keep dwelling on the past as it won’t help. I would also definitly want to stay away from politics - we all have our beliefs.
The only thing I can do is spread a bit of positivity while traveling in a country I love and hopefully that will make a difference even if it’s in a small way.
      Thanks for the messages.

Yea, the swimming pool adjacent Monomatapa Hotel is known as ‘Les Brown’…you’ve just made me so damn nostalgic with this video of the sunshine city ❤! Triggered my nostalgia. Loved seeing the community and, above all, the civility. Hope something does happen with that pool resort before the vegetation overwhelms it to a point of no return.
