Majin Vegeta, his attachment to Warth was clear to see, no matter how much he tries to deny that. For me he was truly changed back then, like you said people around him made him drop his guard and walls around his true self. Showed him why Goku was the way he was and found himself slowly becoming like that. What's most important: he let himself to.
Ha only reason he could compete with Goku was because Chi chi was in the picture if she was never a character Yamacha would've faded into the background like Launch
I personally have always assumed that the reason Vegeta was different towards the z fighters starting in season 2 was because of the fact that they didn't take a cheap shot and kill him. He was leaving and spared their lives only for Krillen to try sneak attack him with a sword 🗡️. But Goku convinced him to stop and he did. I believe that moment i just wrote about is what made him change towards them. Because there are warriors and there are warriors with honor.
Growing up, Piccolo was my favorite character. As an adult, it's Vegeta. I really disliked Gohan as a kid. As an adult, I'm still disappointed in Gohan.
Disappointed for what? Gohan lives in a Mansion, a successful professor with a wife and child. Also he fights crime in his spare time. Is it because he isn’t the main character?
Vegeta and Piccolo always had that type relationship that they innerstood eachother and him and yamcha had a brotherly rivalry relationship he was far from evil still, and him gohan and krillin deff have a laid back relationship them 3 are war brothers
It was because he had to give it up to Goku during their Kid Buu match. He saw that no matter how strong he got, Goku will always have a higher ceiling in power that he cannot reach. Soo he gave up trying to match and overcome Goku, instead realized he already had everything he needed in life via his family and his job in maintaining peace with Goku. Its an example of self introspection and self reflection. He never stopped wanting to be stronger but being stronger than Goku was not his goal anymore...(At the end of Z I'm specifically specifically).
The self reflection was inevitable with the royal education he had. Its like in BUU saga he discovered Epectitus and in GT hes put everything it into practice for years.
Yamcha bulma and krillin really changed vegeta alot too, same way yamcha changed 18 and let her see zfighters are laid back when she was spying on them on kami lookout
The highest and the lowest, the weakest and the strongest are the best sparring partners for eachother guess this is how the classes came about in the series thinking about it
My personal theory is that there are two reasons he took the Majin power up. One to bridge the gap (even though he could go SSJ2 he could sense the power difference with Goku) and even more importantly so he could be become neutral evil again and not care about his family and fight Kakarot without moral limits. Which Goku of course saw through once they started talking again, calling him a liar. Which in turn made Vegeta release that indeed it was all a lie. His subsequent knocking out Goku and facing Majin Buu was to repay the debt he felt to Goku since the Cell arc.
I came across an analysis that compares Vegeta's development to the virtue of Aristotle's magnanimity (not how we think of it today). Meaning "Great Soul" a magnanimous person claims much because he deserves much. He never or only reluctantly asks for aid but will render it willingly. He is haughty or self-aggrandizing to other mighty men his peers, but tolerant to those of lesser station, and will overlook slights by lowers considering getting enraged by them as a vulgar unworthy act. He is open in what he loves and what he hates, seeing anything but speaking the truth as timid. He does not care what others think. Pride for a magnanimous man, is the crown of virtues. Pride makes those virtues greater, and is not found without them. I don't think he's all the way there yet, but I think many aspects resonate with Vegeta's present day character.
I still see him as an antihero because he doesn’t hesitate to kill whoever the threat is I don’t see him as a merciful character. He’s a antihero, but he still doesn’t give mercy to his enemies or anyone that threatens his home.
I am making my way through Super atm and I would say Vegeta is always interested in fighting Goku but not for the same reasons he used to. Now days he just wants to be stronger than Goku, even if it is only for a little while because he knows Goku will drive him to get stronger. Sure there is the whole "Prince of all Saiyans" thing in the back of his head, that never fully goes away. He also just wants to confirm what he's always believed, that he has a higher potential.
Factss he went from happy goku died on namek so he's the strongest to helping them by telling them to wish kakorot to earth checking station and he was super laid back with zfighters in his own way⚡️
GT might have done a lot of things wrong, but at least in regard to Vegeta's character development, it's way better than DBS. Not just in his relationship Goku, but also his relationship win regard to his new home, declaring himself to be an earthling with the pride of a saiyan.
not really. from 1986 to 1995. that is 9 year of dragon ball. they just ran out of ideas. i think GT was acutally good. there not a anime on planet earth besides fist of the north star and yu yu hakusho that has anime fights as good as Z. they just made it about goku way too much. but gt was very dark, gory and had some good storylines. and characters did not feel overpowered. with kid goku, pan. and trunks. he felt like the heroes were actually going to lose. and emeny was way overpowered. and good and sad moments. baby saga, andriod 17 saga and final saga was awsome.
Scholar we need a vid on baba master roshi sister, devilman, dende,mr.lao, korrin, grandkai, general tao,android8,yajirobe, pigero, nail, lime grandfather, pur and oolong, Mr popo, king kai, and much more og db characters and there potential and character⚡️⚡️⚡️
Goku, Gohan, and Krillin gained Vegeta's respect during the Saiyan saga. Piccolo gained Vegeta's respect when fighting Frieza. Vegeta no longer wanted to kill them. Bulma's love changed Vegeta.
Could you or have you made a video about why super saiyan grade three was a bad form but when frieza was buffed up like that he was just as fast as super saiyan Goku
The hyperbolic time chamber made him different He tells goku b4 going in, in a way, I may double cross you...dont think things have changed between us. He goes out and he never mentions defeating him until he gets posessed.
Vegeta has the biggest character development in entire DB verse (No, not you DBS!). I feel like the whole DB arcs since his intro are told thru his perspective
Well bulma trunks and mostly important goku change him bulma change Vegeta by giving lesson that he shouldn't go around vossing people around trunks by dying made him realize that he shouldn't take things for granted and goku change him by giving a reason why there was more to being a Saiyan than just being the Prince
I feel like bringing up GT is pointless. It's not canon, the manga is adding more to the main characters, and they've far surpassed anything from when GT was released. Everything else checks out though. Between when Vegeta wanted to be immortal to now wanting to do the best for his family and Earth.
“Vegeta didn’t want that life deep down.” “Oh no I’d definitely still be evil. In fact, if our positions were reversed this conversation never would’ve happened. You’d be dead and I’d be laughing. Hahaha it hurts to laugh.”
The pride is important because when "the lower class" are natrually the strongest for the weakest to get stronger to lift up "the lower class" they clearly were meant to be somewhere with another race of beings with intelligence and lead by the weakest and most likely to not attack those who are weaker unlike turles although he survives and carries on with the motivation of the tree of power seems like a "were going to live no matter what team spirit"
Dbgt vegeta is still my favorite vegeta an no i dont mean baby vegeta i mean dbgt vegeta that wasnt possessed by baby no matter if it was mustache vegeta to ss4 vegeta
I think Vegeta makes up for the difference in his strength compared to Goku in his intelligence. Vegeta has more common sense than Goku. In GT especially, as Vegeta has accepted his role as a family man, Vegeta also shows more loyalty and consideration towards Bulma and his children. His sense of pride now extends to safeguard those he loves and respects. He rejects Goku's offer to train with Beerus to stand by his highly pregnant wife, questioning how Goku is still married, for example.
I think GT had the perfect ending for dragon ball z. I mean super is good but it feels exaggerating, they basically weild god-like powers but still a lot of beings can still over powered them.
Why in the blue hell are there 2 zenos. shouldn’t he literally be above the multiverse and any of the timelines that could or could not happen? As in there is only ONE version of the Omni King and his powers are large enough to encompass literal reality both forwards and backwards. The fact that there are 2 zenos means he's doesn't control time itself.
Excuse me. You said that in the Androids arc he is not evil anymore and won't kill at will. What about that truck driver? He knew #18 will move and still shot. You could say the deaths that were caused prior to that during the fight are accidental, but this one was a 2nd degree murder on his shoulders. In the 25th tournament he murdered 300 people. How can people forgive him so easily?! GT Bejita is the most developed I agree, but he still mocks Baby saying "the Tuffle." He didn't gave a shit about what his people did. I respect him but I don't like him. I will always find something to be picky about when it comes to him.
I still say Yamcha dodged a bullet with Bulma. I used to be angry with how Akira betrayed Yamcha with having Bulma literally suck off someone that murdered her friends but then as I got older Bulma's a terrible person. So her going with someone as previously terrible as Vegeta was just two magnets colliding. Yamcha deserves better than Bulma.
lol yamcha got a goddess of some universe i think. in dbheroes canon. good for him... bulma was a prize tho. she had the brains n the tech and lots of money where vegeta can continue to live on earth like a king. which he is now. but never saw it coming in my early days of watching dbz. what a twist. rip toriyama...

Any phase where the animation crew makes him look JACKED. He goes from drowning in the sayain armor to it being GLUED to him.

That thumbnail..
He took most of his rage out on Bulma in the bedroom
I agree
And that's why Trunks became so strong
lol 😂 nice one 😂
Don't forget the endless amount of food and the benefits of Capicile corp. Bulma was just as hard headed as Vegeta and same fire.
That circle and arrow on the thumbnail was extremely helpful👍

Great video bro. Vegeta is such an awesome character. Would love to listen to you talk about how Piccolo grew into the man HE is as well.

crazy how a peasent humbled the prince

Hot damn, this was an awesome video 😎
Phenomenal video 👍
You sir got your facts right! 💯 great video!
Kids and a hot Bulma.
Vegeta= best character 💪💪💪
Excellent video and great BGM also 👊

Vegeta went to see his son fight Goten just as a proxy battle with Goku... nothing more.
Best character in DBZ , best development period 🎉
Think you can do a another question on why Piccolo changed from villain to hero after DBZ?
Vegeta: I'M BADMAN!
Badman duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh Badman.
For me vegeta changed completly when he acept the first fusion against super buu.
Wonder why they didn’t just wish anyone killed by frieza be revived? Since vegeta was so hurt about his people’s death.
The more he cares about people the quicker his power boosted
The hyperbolic time chamber made him different
He tells goku b4 going in, in a way, I may double cross you...dont think things have changed between us. He goes out and he never mentions defeating him until he gets posessed.

I don’t blame Bulma, I’d leave my husband for Vegeta too 😆
I will never forgive what GT did to Vegeta's hair
I feel like Super regressed some of this character development and they are back to been rivals in the unhealthy way
interesting
Dbgt vegeta is still my favorite vegeta an no i dont mean baby vegeta i mean dbgt vegeta that wasnt possessed by baby no matter if it was mustache vegeta to ss4 vegeta
How did Vegeta change after Z? He grew a mustache

I think Vegeta makes up for the difference in his strength compared to Goku in his intelligence. Vegeta has more common sense than Goku. This is why Vegeta has much better development than Bakugo from MHA. Vegeta will always be better and be more liked.
There a greater evil than vegeta, like android.
He changed because he got some poom poom for the first time in his life
I think GT had the perfect ending for dragon ball z. I mean super is good but it feels exaggerating, they basically weild god-like powers but still a lot of beings can still over powered them.
