You mentioned the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE for $175.20 you are right that is a good deal for right now, but back on Father's Day they had a sale and were selling them for $99 that's when I bought mine.
I was holding out for a bambu A1 combo for months, but I saw that A5M on sale and watched your videos and decided to pull the trigger. I didn't realize at the time Amazon was lying about the original price, but I still got a pretty good deal since I used some points I had on a credit card. I got the A5M and 3 rolls of filmament for $275, I think that's pretty good for a supposedly reliable core xy printer and filmament to get started. I'm excited to try it out, I've never done any sort of 3d printing before.
You'll be pleased with it's performance...I got one 4 months ago. Printing tips: scrub that build plate with some Ajax dishwashing soap, pat dry, to prep it for some Elmer's purple glue stick, make a couple of zig zags, then moisten you fingers and spread that glue around the build plate then preheat the build plate to 50 degrees c, it will evaporate the excess water and you'll be ready to print. This really helps eliminate bed adhesion issues which leads to frustration and waste of filament. Happy printing.
Should have watch your video first, just ordered the AnyCubic Photon Mono 2 thinking it was a deal with a washer. Well I guess it pressured me to finally get into 3D printing since I've been thinking about it for years now. Good video btw bro
Thanks. They definitely exaggerated the price, but at least you didn't overpay. I have the previous model to yours and it is still going strong. It's a good first choice for a resin printer.
I still don't understand why filament and resin is priced by weight rather than by volume. That causes similarly size light material to fill a complete spool, but still weigh far less than 1kg and then the price is hard to compare. As printing pushes a particular volume of material through the extruder or cures a certain volume of resin, it just would make more sense to also have the price be per unit of volume, no? So, for filament either liter or meters at 1.75mm diameter. For resin, simply liter would seem the best unit.

Got K1 for about € 320. I think it's worth it. My first 3d printer , let's hope it has that upgrades like newer extruder over the initial models.
I was gonna get the btt panda but the sale ended i should have looked at the end sale date lol

I got the QIDI Q1 Pro for $399. It's now back up to $499. I could have ordered it directly from QIDI for $449 and then an additional 5% off.

Didn't you get some of that flashforge PLA when you got the printer? I know mine did. It was tbe exact color you said you never tried 😂
Oh yeah, that's right. I should have said I never tried Flashforge filament outside of that one sample color.
$350 for the Creality Ferret Pro 3D scanner.....Amazon might try to slick ya and only show the $404 and up listing, if anyone was looking
$20 off an AD5M does seem like much of a "big deal" to me... come on Bezos, don't be a cheapass.
*doesn't. Frigging autocomplete and frigging Firefox for Android...
