@Officer Barbrady crackling on armor perk while it can go on weapon perk however there's other much better perks on weapons, and you might want c4r3 over r5, r5 seems big but it really isnt unless you have too much adrenaline to dump which requires some weapon switches, and thats a small rabbit hole to dig into if you are just starting to perk out. Try c4r3 as its like 2-3m to perk out and a decent starting gear too. GL
For faceted components you could also do Empty light orbs. For direct components a slow, cheap option is noose wands from a hunter shop as they restock very quickly and teasing sticks/buttterfly nets can also be disassembled for useful components. If you know you're mostly going to kill a monster that is either undead, a dragon or a demon, then Biting 2 & Undead/Dragon/Demon Slayer is an easy-to-get alternative to Biting 3. Also, could be worth it to look up Impatient 4 & Mobile, as it's just two uncommon components added with basically the same success chance as Impatient 4. Crackling 4 is a good, cheap perk that didn't get a mention in this video.
6:30 I actually learned on the wiki that by mixing in a few cheap explosive comps you have a decent chance of Relentless 3, Crackling 4. Got that on all my gear instead of just crackling 4 and really loving it.

What perks did u have before and if it makes u feel better I made as3 p5 pre arch for 10 weapons and 2 pf switches post arch I replaced them with p6e4 which is cheap for dps increase
P5E1? Regular weapon/armour gizmos with pre-arch high end perks are still kinda cool to see in the bank imo. It's a bit like having a few Dragon longs next to a stack of 20+ rune defenders in your bank, a sign and a reminder that you were into high level pvm in a previous era as well. Plus, it's basically like having a discontinued untradeable, as nobody will ever again make even a p4e2.

I have been dissing fucking noose wands for a few weeks sitting at the damn hunter shop in yanille trying to get direct comps for biting also going for it taking an extreme invent pot at 103 invent not realizing that i could just get easy direct comps with elder rune picks and goin to gwd for the invent lvl decrease to increase chances. Saved me loads of failures. Cheers.
Timeworn can be obtained from certain artefacts, even low levels, all the way to 120. Higher level artefacts give more :) for example you get 1 timeworn on low level artefacts and 8 on the super high level ones Or just can just buy a box on ge if you don't have any artefacts
Faceted components for enhanced devoted can be gathered from magic offhand weapons, in addition to Enhancing components. I get cheap faceted from disassembling the offhands in the magic shop in varrock square (NW shop w/ Zaff + Naf?) and Port Sarim's northwestern-most magic shop. I also disassemble some of the magic armor for Powerful components to compliment the Enhancing components for cheap augmentors =) i'm 93 arch and 94 inv and I want to keep those valuable potion flasks so this how i'm stockpiling Faceted for ancient gizmos.

Its probably important to mention crystal teleport seeds to get faceted comps for free if you want to invest some time as crystal flasks arent cheap. Also you can do biting 2 mobile pretty easily indtead of biting 3 if you need mobile
Biting 4(lv20), Erethdor's grimoirer, the farming meteor strike buff, Noxious scythe, ring of vigor, fury into meteor strike(Like 80% crit chance). Go from 100 adren to 100 adren when clearing mobs in mass.
I tried to replicate this, but biting was a pain in the butt. And while I was going to relentless 5/ crackling 4, I didn’t get it in one gizmo so put them in separately in the 2 slots and gave up completely on biting. I’m thinking scavenging over devotion as this is for my slayer set
The boost doesnt work, I tried it last week; you can (like you said) read the blueprint and make the discovery with the boost. However the Manufacture interface doesnt show you the gizmos. Once you reach 85, they show up.
From what i can see, as4e2 cost a freaking lot... tried twice with scavenged perk and didnt get it...! But im going to try and alternative wich is p6e1 and as4r1 this way i only lose 1equil ... 7 arma comps with 2 rumblinga make p6e1 56%
For faceted components the best way to get them is Dorgeshuun Light Orbs with 87 crafting. You get a lot of faceted and Enhancing components, good for making augmentors
Yeah scav is great. I use it for farming gear. I augmented my bandos legs with it. I also use that perk that reduces charge rate drain. So I can get components for cheap and less charge drain.
That's what I heard too but if I do remember is that this only affected perks such as p3e2 vs p5. On 1 gizmo p5 is better because of biting but idk how it affects p6e4
It's easy to overlook Timeworn x7, which has a pretty good 83% of any eq4 but has a *16% of eq4ru2*, since it's overshadowed by Timeworn x8's 98% any eq4 5% eq4ru3, but that 3x better chance brings the cost of that gizmo down from ~13m to ~3m, while being pretty much the same average cost for any eq4. Especially significant at mid-level invention, e.g. 85+17 invention has a practically unattainable 0.05% of e4r3 from x8, but x7 has a reasonably viable 4.3% of e4r2.
I'm kind of shocked by how much just the Weapon perks improved my Vindicta times. Got a PB of 1:49! I need to work towards trimming my masterwork so I can augment now!

Hey, I'm new to Perks, Is there a way to easily drop/interchange perks on the fly. Based on the last with Scavenging, is it possible to switch it with another perk if required?
Arch comp don't come with any artefacts, historic and classic come from lvl 5 to 76 and timeworn and vintage come from lvl 76+, you can get timeworn and vintage from low level but only 1 and rare when lvl 76+ are guaranteed.
I advice getting as soon as possible relentless 5/crackling 4 in my tests and experience is just an insane perk for the price In my opinion is the first one you sould get

p6e2 with as3 most likely. But i wouldn't bother combining Equilibrium with precise, because if you're going for best in slot perks is P6a1 & A4e2 and you combo aftershock with eq. The description of the video has a wiki page showcasing the optimal perks as this was just budget ones.
60th attempt still cant get bitting 3...finally bought Nox Bow going to level up for lvl 9 and than dissasemble for 20 nox components 7 for Biting 4....My luck is crazy :/
Tip for ironmen who can't easily get Zaros Components; if you level you invention down to 35 and use 8 Zamorak Comps there's a 1/1.03 chance of getting impatient 4 on it's own. You have to repeat the gizmo a few times but it doesn't take long at all. You can also do it with 7 comps but it's 1/1.2 so it's up to you if you want to take the risk.
Nah, you just need the invention level required to unlock the particular component after buying and unlocked the blueprints I showed at the start of the video
Theres a much easier way of getting faceted comps, u can buy crystal tool seeds and have eluned charge them for u ( no harmonic dust needed) u get on avg more than 1 faceted comp/seed which is insane

crackling 4, relentless 3 combo is also a pretty cheap and decent perk. 5 explosives and 4 vintage comps yields 32.17% for it at 120inv + extreme pot

If you put 7 timeworn and 2 subtle it’s about 1/5 to get eq4 mobile, the mobile is just a bonus to make it an even better cheap perk

I feel sad. Spend 100s of mils on pretty high end perk. Took a break, archeology was released. Now my perks are mediocer at best.

Correction on the Timeworn components, you can get them from archaeology artifacts levels 71-90 I believe.

Can you make ancient gizmo's before you have a base level of 85? Got the blueprint but can't make a ancient gizmo, just the normal version.

sadly the wand is the best bet, 16 comps at level 9
But if you have best in slot perks you could get an extra boss kill that gives 500mil + drop.

Precise6 and genocidal can be obtained on the same gizmo shell. So instead of the gizmo showing p6 alone, it will have p6+genocidal.

elder rune pick +5 is like 1.3m each btw. so yeah 20 attemps x9 components is a lot of pick axes...
Why would you do +5? Base pickaxe has same percentage of base components and only 150k.

Theres a much easier way of getting faceted comps, u can buy crystal tool seeds and have eluned charge them for u ( no harmonic dust needed) u get on avg more than 1 faceted comp/seed which is insane

sadly on an iron you need 95 arch for the blueprint as you have to make it yourself, not buy it.
I'm convinced; I'm not getting Biting 3. I have to settle for Biting 2.... I feel like Jagex only put Biting 3 in the game as a major gold sink... I spent almost 20M gp on Direct Components and didn't get Biting 3 in one Ancient Armour Gizmo Shell... lmfao
