The whole time he was talking about it, I kept thinking "It's Pickle-pee! He knows, right?? He's gotta know. He's gonna mention it, surely." And then he just never did.
So stoked that you used the Juvinates method I sent in, I was worried it was going to be so underwhelming that it would have never saw the light of day. Cheers Soup!
@@Jerome477 almost like working around your restrictions is part of what makes the game mode fun. That's like saying ironmen shouldn't be able to trade NPCs for items either.
For the papyrus I'm pretty certain you would've made more money by buying out the papyrus, hopping, filling your inv with papyrus, banking, buying the rest of the papyrus, then hop again. The cake tins and chisels aren't worth it and you are still hopping the same amount, but would be filling your inv with papyrus instead of papyrus and junk. Wouldn't be a TON more GP, but when the goal is to maximize profit, I think it would definitely do that. I know it would be impossible to calculate, but I feel you should've at least mentioned it in the video. Doing urium remains part of the profit will be from getting the Zealot Robes and then using those to train prayer. They can save quite a bit of dragon bones overall and it's the reason I went out of my way to obtain them. Training prayer anyway, why not get something that will save me a bit of GP.
Speaking of Shades of Mort'ton, making and selling Sacred Oil is a really good money maker on its own. If you're on the mass world the temple is basically always available, and Flamtaer Bracelets are very cheap to make if you have the Crafting and Magic skill to do it yourself. It's also largely AFK to build Sanctity, and as long as you're above level 81, you can AFK wherever you like on the building, because the shades will be non-aggressive.
I recently tried the guthix balance method on my ironman, as I figured out I had gained way too many red spider eggs from Sarachnis afk using aranea boots close from release. The harralander stack wasn't really going down either, despite getting loads of goat horn drops from corp. Figuring out guthix balance potions eventually give more xp than combat potions (and unaware of the upcoming mixology) I set out to grind to 94 herblore for extended antivenom+. The grind took quite some time and I couldn't bring myself to sell them in rogues den, so I decided to use them for an hour and see how much it profits. The profits were so bad, I immediately headed out to rogues den care-free. 😂
These videos are so fun. The economy aspect of OSRS is one of my favorite parts of the game. I think of acquiring gold as its own ‘skill’ that you can spend your time on. Anyways, I love all the many, many obscure secrets hidden throughout this game! Good work!
@Hanannie seems like the perfect person to try to mass the Vampyre Juvinates and see how it would break the game to have a bunch of human NPCs walking randomly west
Thank you for the kind words. While I have a soft spot for Shades, and still suggest doing them for Elites until the Shades clog is complete (at least), I think most clue hunters today prefer Callisto masses. I would recommend trying some if you want to collect more!
I used the big nest mithril limbs to crossbow method shown in this video to get a ranged weapon upgrade with my very special ironman who can't (currently) get a rune crossbow. I randomly stumbled upon this method in the wiki, it felt great to find it out.
I love that this series has gone from "pick up some items here" to "lock your account partway through an early game quest to make a useless item nobody knows exists to sell to 1 collector"
I also get curious about who buys some items. I had a brief experience recently with pointed blue snelms where they were being bought for 4-8k gp a piece, even though none of the others were and they're not a particularly rare or difficult thing to get. Still, it was nice to get a little pile of pocket change after making and selling a bunch.
The nest is a reference to a recurring bird merchant in the Dark Souls video game series, where you drop items into their nest and reload the area to get the reward. Trading dung in exchange for a valuable item (a nasty token) mirrors a potential trade in the first Dark Souls game, where it is possible to exchange a dung pie for a rare upgrade material (demon titanite).
I really appreciate your efforts! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
The black candle lantern is cool, but it's dead now that it's revealed, it's no longer going to be a collectors item and that's the only reason people would buy it.
Why would you go and buy a bunch of gold keys off the grand exchange to open them if the entire point of the money maker you're doing this for is to go acquire gold keys and open them. Just do it without a coffin for a while, get Gold Locks while doing it, and make the coffin then.

Great I’m 20 minutes late, now I can’t do it

The Aldarin nest is 100% a reference to the nest trading mechanic from Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.
The whole time he was talking about it, I kept thinking "It's Pickle-pee! He knows, right?? He's gotta know. He's gonna mention it, surely." And then he just never did.
Aldarin also sounds like Lordran, not to mention the Varlamore knight that was a reference to Solaire.

Fun fact about the nest, you can use it on a uim to store a trident. Useful when you have a shadow but want to do tob.
There’s nothing useful about playing a uim
@@jaepy3354 It's content when youtubers play them.
@jaepy3354 it's not meant to be useful....it's meant to be hard...
@Jaeg3r96 but why do they play a game mode where you can't use a bank, and do everything they can to store items 🤔
@@Jerome477 almost like working around your restrictions is part of what makes the game mode fun. That's like saying ironmen shouldn't be able to trade NPCs for items either.

Manscaped not to be confused with Runescape

What? I didn't buy any keys off the grand exchange, they're not even tradeable.
Hey Soup have you done an iron man only video yet? I'm sure plenty of people especially me would love to see that
So according to soup's estimates, let's say it'd take 5 hours to get all those black candle lanterns and sell them. That's just over 2m/hour!
You’re either too dumb to know that everyone could already imply that or you’re just dumb
