Behind the Scenes of AI film "reflection of a reflection of a reflection"

A glimpse into the workflow of combining animation with AI generative models -- Stable Diffusion.
After discovering novel processes for creating an animated AI film, I decided to share what went into making it. There's the narrative that artificial intelligence should be used to speed up the process of film-making, but I preferred to try the opposite. Using the medium as a tool to create something that only Stable Diffusion would allow me to do, I embraced the limitations and flaws of generative media to highlight their new aesthetic.

I hope that by sharing this knowledge, I will inspire film-makers and animators to explore this medium as a novel tool, rather than trying to make it fit previous understandings of video storytelling. AI cinema can be a new craft in VFX and animation instead of something to automate everything.

Thanks for sharing your process! I remember first seeing your work on the sd subreddit and being blown away at how clearly intentional everything looked. Completely agree that experimenting with interesting workflows to achieve a specific result is far more interesting than how quickly you can get photoreal results.
