Biggest problem with Silverado brakes is the calipers binding after new pads are installed. The pads themselves usually last about 150,000 miles. So best bet when you finally do need brakes , replace the calipers at the same time.

Doing anything under the dash sucks so bad. I think the steering column bearing was my least favorite job I've ever done on my LBZ.

I have a Buick Regal I switched to hydroboost. The brakes would heat up and drag and lock up. It was the piston on the hydro boost out too far. To determine that I spaced out the master cylinder and it stopped locking up.

I tow all day and I HATE HYDROBOOST..My old 15 really sucked 2020 better but still suck
