There’s something about a primarch who has no superpower other than just getting shit done that is so appealing. Warhammer 40k is such serious science-fiction horror fantasy franchise about war, which is why among characters with names like Horus, Magnus, Corvus or Leman Russ stands LIONEL JOHNSON!
I was, just before this upload alert popped, relistening to some of your old SCP uploads. An actually good suggestion to make to you came to me, I truly hope you see this message. You're not likely familiar with the name "Cordwainer Smith," but he was a CIA agent I believe(?) way back. He was personal friends with Mao, and one of these men that likely had profound, yet subtle impacts on our modern world... He never did some one specific thing that'd have stamped his name onto narrative history, but he was a genius, and a good man, a creative man, visionary, who had impacts on through personal friendships with, some men who established so much of the philosophies behind the lives of all the billions to live today. Sorry, I am going too deep without first giving any reason to read. Cordwainer Smith (a nom de plume) wrote short stories, sci fi, and it's stuff that's got just so much depth, he really plumbs the existential depths, usually with a depth that so few have. Oddly, while he's never been so popular here, his work has been influential on Japanese manga and anime... there are influences on and homages to his work in Evangelion, for example... The Human Instrumentality Project, which fights off the angel attacks in Evangelion, takes their name from the future, benevolent "government" that exists across tens of thousands of years, in the future history that Smith wrote. He also invented the idea of sexy catgirls way back in the 1950s. 🔥🥵✨ But yeah dude, all his stuff is short stories, and so many those who enjoy your uploads, WOULD enjoy listening to those too. Something truly novel to throw on in here, for some spice. I bought the collective works of his off amzn, but you can also find all of his short stories published here or there online. I would suggest, most seem to like "Scanners Live In Vain." Mind-bending, wild sci fi that is untainted by all the common memes that gree out of stars wars and star trek and, etc Think Blue, Count Two is another cool one. "The Rediscovery of Man" by Cordwainer Smith, that's the good collection. Ain't cheap because it's a bit of a specialty item.
